Park Joon-Young is an elite pianist. Chae Song-A is a 4th year university student and studies to become a violinist. Chae Song-A was excited to perform for the first time at stage. However, the conductor asked her to leave as he did not need additional violinist. She stayed behind the stage and watched the performance. Park Joon-Young kept seeing her after the event ended.

Park Joon-Young has two good friends, Han Hyun-Ho and Lee Jung-Kyung. He was born from a poor family. He joined competition to settle his family debts. Lee Jung-Kyung’s grandmother was the one who offer scholarship for him. He has been joining the competition for the past 6-7 years. He decided to take a year break from playing piano. Park Joon-Young has a crush on Lee Jung-Kyung. However, Han Hyun-Ho and Lee Jung-Kyung are couple. He did not want to affect their friendship.

Chae Song-A, who completed her business studies and continued to persuade music studies. Although many people were against the idea of studying music, she just decided to do what she liked. She failed her college entry many times. However, she did not give up. She was in her last semester, and she decided to work as an intern in Kyunghoo Cultural Foundation. During lunch time, she asked for the permission to use the rehearsal room. She accidentally met Park Joon-Young who was practicing in there too. Chae Song-A felt shy and quickly left the place.

During team dinner, Cha Young-In invited all her teammates as well as Park Joon-Young to come over for the dinner. Cha Young-In and Park Joon-Young were same age and went to the same school too. However, they never meet each other at school. Cha Young-In explained to him that she worked as an intern at the company.

Chae Song-A came to the airport to pick-up her friend, Yoon Dong-Yoon whom she secretly in love with. Yoon Dong-Yoon used to study music, but he decided to focus on making violin rather than in music. Chae Song-A, Yoon Dong-Yoon and Kang Min-Sung are good friends. Yoon Dong-Yoon and Kang Min-Sung used to date with one another, but they split before Yoon Dong-Yoon left to Italy. Park Joon-Young also came to airport to pick-up his friends, Han Hyun-Ho and Lee Jung-Kyung. Six of them get to know one another and having meal together.

One day, Park Joon-Young found out that Yoon Dong-Yoon has something to hide from Chae Song-A. He prevented her to meet him. He made an excuse saying that Yoon Dong-Yoon had a guest. However, during Chae Song-A’s birthday, Kang Min-Sung met up with her. She told her that Yoon Dong-Yoon has slept with her. She was in lost. Chae Song-A was stunt at the moment. She came to the rehearsal room and asked Park Joon-Young about it. Park Joon-Young tried to console her by playing music. Chae Song-A did not want to attend her birthday party as she did not want to face Yoon Dong-Yoon. Unfortunately, Yoon Dong-Yoon and her friend came to her office to pick her up. Park Joon-Young joined them too. Park Joon-Young told her that he felt happy and at ease whenever he was with her.

Park Joon-Young and Lee Jung-Kyung hide something from Han Hyun-Ho. Han Hyun-Ho suspected about it. He bought a couple ring as a present for Lee Jung-Kyung who has the same birthday as Chae Song-A. However, Lee Jung-Kyung purposely did not wear it which made Han Hyun-Ho nervous. While they are practicing, Lee Jung-Kyung pointed out that Park Joon-Young has no opinion and never did what he like. Park Joon-Young was angry and left the place at once. Lee Jung-Kyung also being cold to Han Hyun-Ho as well.

Chae Song-A was in-charged for planning events for Park Joon-Young. She was amazed by his skills. When she asked him whether he like the music that he played, he wondered a second. He never thought about himself. All he did throughout his life was to win the audience likes.

Park Joon-Young told Chae Song-A that he would prefer as if he did not have any talent in music. He told her that he was sleepless and stress when joining competitions. He did not like that kind of life. Chae Song-A has a different point of view. She told him that there are many people who admired his talent and many of them was unable to achieve that. Chae Song-A was actually one of them. She has no talent in music but she like violin so much.

Lee Jung-Kyung decided to break up with Han Hyun-Ho. She found herself in love with Park Joon-Young. She confessed her feeling to him while she attended his recital. Park Joon-Young turned her down. He felt being indebted with her whenever he sees her. Lee Jung-Kyung and her family have been helping Park Joon-Young with financial issues. Even though he did not want to receive their kindness, he has no other choice. Park Joon-Young’s mother kept calling him for the money. Although he won many prizes in overseas, he has been paying off the debts of his family. He did not have much money left for himself.

Chae Song-A met her professor. Her professor offered her to study Master in the university. She was really happy about it. She informed Park Joon-Young regarding this great news, but he did not reply any message for her. His mother was still asking money from him. He tried to avoid her call. When he asked around the bank to apply for loan, none of the bank lend him money. When he checked his accounts, he was surprised that there wass money in his bank. He knew that it was sent by Lee Jung-Kyung’s grandmother. He returned the money back to her instead. Lee Jung-Kyung’s grandmother suddenly collapsed. Therefore, Park Joon-Young sent her to the hospital. He also informed Lee Jung-Kyung about it. Lee Jung-Kyung was meeting Chae Song-A on the street. Lee Jung-Kyung told Chae Song-A not to meddle between Park Joon-Young and her relationship. Chae Song-A tried to contact Park Joon-Young, but he did not pick up the call. She was jealous when Park Joon-Young contacted Lee Jung-Kyung rather than her.

Park Joon-Young was surprised to see his mother at the hospital. After understanding the situation, his mother was in need of money to do surgery. He has no money, so he borrowed from Lee Jung-Kyung’s grandmother.

Park Joon-Young was waiting for Chae Song-A after work. He apologized to her that he did not reply her message. However, he did not explain what had happened yesterday. Chae Song-A was really disappointed with him. She did not want that kind of friendship anymore.

Chae Song-A and Kim Hae-Na’s internship was going to end. They had a team dinner at night. Cha Young-In wanted to invite Park Joon-Young to join them, but he was at Han Hyun-Ho’s store. Cha Young-In told Park Joon-Young that Han Hyun-Ho and Lee Jung-Kyung already broke up, so she wondered how were they going to perform for the end of year event. Park Joon-Young was surprised to hear that. He asked Han Hyun-Ho about it. Park Joon-Young also worried about Lee Jung-Kyung. He called her up and she said that she was drunk and stand in front of his house. Park Joon-Young asked him to wait inside his studio instead. Lee Jung-Kyung entered the house and found out that Park Joon-Young wrote some notes for Chae Song-A. She was jealous and left the place. Chae Song-A at the same time also walking towards Park Joon-Young’s house. She saw Lee Jung-Kyung left his house. She was jealous and disappointed. By the time Park Joon-Young just arrived home, he realized that Lee Jung-Kyung already left.

Park Joon-Young was going to finish his study. At school, he met Chae Song-A. He tried to get her. Chae Song-A could not hide her feeling. She confessed her feeling to him instead. Park Joon-Young told her to give him some time to sort things out. He also told her about his love, career and friends.

In the university, Park Joon-Young and Chae Song-A attended different class, however, they used to meet one another for lunch and dinner. There are rumors about Park Joon-Young and Chae Song-A were dating. Park Joon-Young did not want to put her in spot, so he just denied it. Chae Song-A was really upset about it. He explained to her that he was concerned about her and the reason why he did that.

Lee Jung-Kyung and Han Hyun-Ho applied for master study. Lee Jung-Kyung and Han Hyun-Ho had an argument. Park Joon-Young came and stopped them. Lee Jung-Kyung took Park Joon-Young as an excuse to make Han Hyun-Ho accept the fact that they had broken up. Chae Song-A overheard that but she did not feel good about it although she believed that Park Joon-Young won’t do that.

Lee Jung-Kyung came to see Park Joon-Young while he was with Chae Song-A. She asked him to be her accompanist for her recital, but he refused it. Chae Song-A was thinking of looking for pianist to be her accompanist. However, the new pianist did not go well with her. After listening to her friend, she decided to ask Park Joon-Young to be her accompanist. Park Joon-Young’s lecturer advised he should not play for Chae Song-A as an accompanist as both of them has different level. Others might think that she was great because of him. Park Joon-Young did not want that to happen. Therefore, he just indirectly denied it.

Park Joon-Young’s agent has been charged by Chris and the Korean management was in-charged by Park Sung-Jae whom used to work with Cha Young-In in Kyunghoo Cultural Foundation. Park Sung-Jae talked to him that he has to join with the same level person rather than Lee Jung-Kyung and Han Hyun-Ho. Park Joon-Young did not agree with his idea, so he was still in discussion with his agency.

Lee Jung-Kyung apologized to Park Joon-Young. She told Park Joon-Young that she was jealous when he was more successful than her. She felt inferior towards herself. She begged him to be her accompanist for her recital.  She apologized to Han Hyun-Ho for her harsh words too.

Park Joon-Young came to see Chae Song-A at the rehearsal room. Chae Song-A has been avoiding him for quite some time. Park Joon-Young did not want to have misunderstanding between them. He told her that he has agreed to become Lee Jung-Kyung’s accompanist. He wanted to help her as a friend. He also confessed her feeling and kissed her. Park Joon-Young offered to play for her during her entrance exam. However, she refused to accept. She wanted to it by herself.

Park Joon-Young and Chae Song-A told everyone that they were dating. Both of them were happy for the start of their relationship. Han Hyun-Ho was surprised to hear that they were dating. He saw him with Lee Jung-Kyung coming out from a café. He dragged him to talk in somewhere else. He worried that Lee Jung-Kyung might hurt if she knew that they were dating. Park Joon-Young told him that she already knew it and Chae Song-A also being informed about. Han Hyun-Ho told his friends that he has broken up with Lee Jung-Kyung. He wanted to join orchestra chamber to gain more connection and experience. It happened that he joined the same orchestra chamber as Chae Song-A.

Chae Song-A attended a friend’s birthday party. She told Park Joon-Young about it and she also ensure that Yoon Dong-Yoon would not attend since he went for a business trip. She was surprised when Yoon Dong-Yoon came for the party. He was shocked when Kang Min-Sung talked about her dating with Park Joon-Young. Yoon Dong-Yoon asked her whether was that the answer she was going to give him. Chae Song-A confessed that she did like him for long time ago. At the moment, Park Joon-Young and Kang Min-Sung just came in and heard everything that she said. Kang Min-Sung was angry towards Chae Song-A because she was not honest to her. She thought that they have no secret for each other. Chae Song-A apologized to her, but she refused to accept it. Park Joon-Young consoled her and lend a handkerchief for her.

Chae Song-A joined a master class conducted by Lee Jung-Kyung. Lee Jung-Kyung commended on her skill and provided her some recommendation. Chae Song-A was really thankful for her. They attended the same party too. After the party, Lee Jung-Kyung told her that she will continue to feel awkward between them since she has a crush on Park Joon-Young. And Park Joon-Young used to like her in secret. Chae Song-A came to see Park Joon-Young after the party. She wanted to visit his house. Park Joon-Young was happy about it.  She was surprised to see his clean and neat. While preparing for the drink, Park Joon-Young accidentally broke a cup. Chae Song-A took the wet tissue from the desk drawer. She saw the black handkerchief still kept in his drawer. She felt uneasy about it as that handkerchief was given by Lee Jung-Kyung.

Park Joon-Young met up with Han Hyun-Ho. He apologized to him. He also expressed that he did not want to lose his friend. Han Hyun-Ho could not forgive him. Park Joon-Young was upset about it. Park Joon-Young attended a lecture class with Professor Yoo. He hated to learn from him. Therefore, after winning the competition, he decided to signup an agency to leave the country as soon as possible. He felt stressful whenever he joined competition. However, he has no other choice but to earn more money to support his family. Park Joon-Young came back to learn from him again after he lose the last competition against Mr Seung.

Professor Yoo was upset for his newly released album. Park Joon-Young joined him for a drink. Professor Yoo told him that both of them were different. Park Joon-Young used to keep his problems all by himself rather than talking it out. He did not want to cause any burden to others.

Park Joon-Young told Chae Song-A that Park Joon-Young was going to practice with Lee Jung-Kyung at the rehearsal room. However, the room has been occupied by others. He did not want to practice at Lee Jung-Kyung’s house. Therefore, they went back to the university’s practice room. Chae Song-A who was practicing her violin with another pianist. She had a hard time as both of them seemed could not be able to follow the tempo of the song. As the lesson ended, she saw many people gathered in front of another room. She went to have a look and saw Park Joon-Young and Lee Jung-Kyung were practicing there. She was upset to see them together.

Chae Song-A was asked by her professor to do some errand. She has to go far away to help her professor to buy something. Initially, Park Joon-Young was schedule to practice with Lee Jung-Kyung. He worried about her going alone there. He decided to accompany her to go to there too. It happened that the destination was Park Joon-Young’s hometown. He brought her to walk around the neighborhood.  They accidentally met his mother on the street. He introduced his mother that she was his girlfriend. His mother invited them to have a dinner before they went back to Seoul. Park Joon-Young and Chae Song-A finished the meal and headed back to Seoul. Park Joon-Young talked about his family matter to her and hope that she can understand his situation. Chae Song-A presented him an umbrella since he did not have one.

Chae Song-A has to find another pianist to prepare for her exam. She made some calls to ask anyone who can helped her. Park Joon-Young heard that and offered to play for her. Chae Song-A was jealous when he mentioned about Lee Jung-Kyung. He couldn’t understand why she react like that. He did not want her to feel awkward between him and Lee Jung-Kyung. Park Joon-Young apologized to her and asked her again. She gladly accepted his offer.

There were talks about Park Joon-Young was going to play for Chae Song-A. Everyone was gossiping about it. Park Joon-Young’s mother suddenly gave him a call, saying that his father lose money for his business and she might have to give up her diner if they failed to pay up 30,000 won. Park Joon-Young was really stress for this issue. He wondered if he can play for the private events for 30,000 won. Unfortunately, others have declined his offer after hearing that he was dating with a woman. Park Joon-Young had difficulty to raise money for his family.

Park Sung-Jae met up with Chae Song-A. He told her that she has ruin Park Joon-Young’s career. He hoped that they can lay low for their relationship since many of them did not ask for Park Joon-Young anymore. He also told him that since she started to play violin in later age, it was difficult for her to catch with those who learnt in since they were young. He advised her to look for another alternative rather than playing violin. When Park Joon-Young had a meal with her, he asked her when can they start practicing together. Chae Song-A decided to do it later.

Chae Song-A told Park Joon-Young about the dinner that she had to attend. Park Joon-Young told her that he might dropped off to meet her up. He had to practice with Lee Jung-Kyung for her recital. Suddenly, his mother called him and told him that she would like to stay at his home for a night due to having argument with his father. Park Joon-Young informed Chae Song-A that he cannot make it as his mother was coming to Seoul.

Chae Song-A attended the chamber orchestra dinner. On that day, she only learnt that she was only an assistant for her professor. Her professor never thought of letting her join the chamber. She was disappointed as after all she did for her professor was seemed useless. After the dinner ended, she was upset and walked alone on the street. She saw Park Joon-Young and Lee Jung-Kyung sitting in the taxis bypassed her.

The next day, Chae Song-A asked Park Joon-Young where did he go with Lee Jung-Kyung last night. He honestly told her that Lee Jung-Kyung went to meet her professor at that time. She also wondered why he followed her there. In order to make Chae Song-A feels secure, he promised her that he will never meet her anymore.

Chae Song-A was having a hard time, she wanted to meet up with Park Joon-Young to talk about it. Park Joon-Young promised to wait for her at a café. Suddenly, Lee Jung-Kyung contacted Park Joon-Young and told her about his music has been stolen by his professor. He texted Chae Song-A that he has an emergency matter need to take care off. He went to see his professor and asked about it. However, Park Joon-Young cannot proved that this music was played by him. Chae Song-A on the way to Park Joon-Young’s house. She saw Lee Jung-Kyung came out from his house. She warned her not to simply come to his house at this point of time. Lee Jung-Kyung told her to worry more about him rather than her.

Park Joon-Young met up with Cha Young-In and Park Sung-Jae to talk about this matter. They helped him as much as they can. Park Joon-Young only wanted the music to be taken down from Youtube. He wanted to hide it from Chae Song-A as he did not want her to worry. Eventually, Park Sung-Jae talked to the person-in-charge and the music has been taken down.

Park Joon-Young thought everyone has been settle down. Suddenly, his mother called him that his father has lose money again. They needed another 30,000 won to settle his debt.  Park Joon-Young was devastated. Lee Jung-Kyung told him that she has already payoff his debt. Park Joon-Young did not happy about it.

Chae Song-A asked him what had happened last night. Park Joon-Young did not talk about the music being stolen. Chae Song-A told him that she was really not okay with this. She wanted to put an end for their relationship. Park Joon-Young did not explain much but just respected her decision. Park Joon-Young was in great pain as he could not be able to handle his stress anymore. Chae Song-A and Park Joon-Young were sick for days after they broke up with one another. Luckily, Chae Song-A was accompanied by a bunch of friends, so she got up far quickly than him.

Chae Song-A also decided to put an end for her violin. She talked to Cha Young-In and Yoon Dong-Yoon about it. She decided to let go of her violin since she did not have much talent on it. Park Joon-Young decided not to join the competition anymore. In fact, he will finish his undergraduate and prepared for his recital. Lee Jung-Kyung dropped her application to be a professor at the university. Han Hyun-Ho, on the other hand, received an offer from oversea to join them as orchestra member.

One day, Na Moon-Sook has passed away. Han Hyun-Ho, Chae Song-A and Park Joon-Young attended the funeral. Park Joon-Young met Chae Song-A there. He offered to play for Chae Song-A. During the entrance exam, their performance was brilliant. Everyone was impressed about their performance. After the performance, Park Joon-Young expressed his feeling for her. However, she felt awkward about it. Park Joon-Young also invited her to come to his recital.

Han Hyun-Ho, Lee Jung-Kyung and Park Joon-Young performed on the stage during the Memorial Day of Na Moon-Sook. Chae Song-A joined them during the last minutes. She helped Park Joon-Young to flip the music sheet. Park Joon-Young was really happy to see her.

Although she passed her entrance exam, she decided not to enroll in her master degree. Chae Song-A’s mother talked to her about Park Joon-Young. She found him as a great person who was caring for her. Chae Song-A attended Park Joon-Young’s recital. She came in late. She was touched when he played the Brahms. Cha Young-In and his mother congratulated him for completed his recital successfully. Chae Song-A also came to see him. She told him that she enjoyed his music and she loved him.  They both kissed each other.

Chae Song-A worked together with Cha Young-In who was in-charged of Park Joon-Young’s schedule. Park Joon-Young has been flying all around the world to do his performance. Park Joon-Young also told his mother to divorce his father for the sake of herself. He did not want his mother to suffer anymore. Years later, Park Joon-Young proposed to Chae Song-A and she said yes. Han Hyun-Ho also reunited with Lee Jung-Kyung. Lee Jung-Kyung was now a tutor who taught music for her pupils.
