Yoon Hyun-Woo is a loyal employee who works for Soonyang Conglomerate. His was responsible to take care of the family whenever they need him. He did not manage to get into a college due to poor. He started working in the company since he was young. Many people have been gossiping about him for being no different than a servant for Jin family. Even though he felt humiliated, he has no other choice. He wanted to earn as much money to support his family expenses. Since he was young, his mother already passed away. He was now living with his father and younger brother.

One day, Yoon Hyun-Woo found a paper company of Soonyang Group that used to embezzle money from oversea. He reported the matter to his superior, but his superior discarded the document right in front of him. He then reported the issue to Jin Seong-joon, the eldest grandson of Soonyang Group. Jin Seong-joon fired his superior and assigned him to take over his place. Jin Seong-joon asked Yoon Hyun-Woo to withdraw all the money from oversea bank to him. Yoon Hyun-Woo flied to oversea to carry out his duty. Jin Ye-Joon overheard their conversation. She asked Jin Seong-joon to split the share of money. Jin Seong-joon assigned other men to take the money and killed Yoon Hyun-Woo.

Yoon Hyun-Woo was later found himself woke up back in 1987 and he has been reincarnated into the body of Jin Do-joon, the youngest grandson of Soonyang Group. He did not recall that Soonyang Group has the youngest grandson named Jin Do-joon. He was on the way to visit his grandfather, Jin Yang-Cheol and attend his birthday party. Jin Yang-Cheol disliked Jin Yoon-Ki and Jin Sung-Joon because their marriage was against his will. They have been living in oversea for the past 10 years before they came back. Jin Yang-Cheol is a person who values money over relationship. He spends his money for something in return.

Yoon Hyun-Woo realized that he was living the past. He went to his old store to visit his mother. He asked for a meal from her. He was glad that his mother was still alive. Yoon Hyun-Woo knew what was going to happen in Jin family since he read Jin Yang-Cheol’s biography. In order to make a deal with Jin Yang-Cheol, he recalled what was going to happen in future to advise him. He also saved him from taking the plane before the plane exploded. Jin Yang-Cheol was amazed by his caliber and intelligent. He accepted him as part of the family member.

Jin Do-Joon made a deal with Jin Yang-Cheol that he wanted a land instead of money. In return, he will study law as none of the family member has law background. A few years later, Jin Do-Joon successfully entered a top university to study law. He earned a lot of money from the land that he owned. Jin Do-Joon and his brother walked on the street. He coincidently met the Seo Min-Young. He recognized her right away. In present, she was the prosecutor who questioned him at the office. He also found out that she was in the same school as him. He purposely approached her and invited her for a meal. She thought that he has feeling for her. Jin Do-Joon has been invited to a rich student society. He was required to bring a partner with him. Seo Min-Young was angry because she felt that she has been fooled by him. Jin Do-Joon did not intend to join the rich club. He pretended that he was having fun just like other kids do so that Jin’s family members thought that he has no interest in business.

Jin Do-Joon went to New York with his father. Over the years, he made a good investment on movies and helped his father to own his studio. He met an investor, Oh Se-Hyun coincidently. He approached him in purpose. Oh Se-Hyun was amazed with his intelligent and also being a risk taker for making such a huge bet on investment at such a young age.

Jin Yang-Cheol to expand his business in motor vehicle industry. He was planning to buy Hando Steel Company in order to expand his business. Power Shares, a foreign investment company was interested to buy that company as well. Jin Yang-Cheol wondered who was it. Jin Dong-Ki sent his man to work as Jin Do-Joon’s driver. His man found out that Jin Do-Joon and Oh Se-Hyun have been meeting with one another. He asked his man to report the matter to Jin Yang-Cheol. Jin Dong-Ki also sent a boutique of flower to the hotel that Jin Do-Joon and Oh Se-Hyun usually met. Seo Min-Young was working as a part timer there. She sent the flower to his room. They had a small misunderstanding with one another. Seo Min-Young also sent him a message that there was a tapping device inside the flower. Jin Do-Joon and Oh Se-Hyun played along with the flow in order to make them think that both of them has gone apart.

As his man reported to Jin Yang-Cheol, he thought that Jin Do-Joon betrayed him. Jin Yang-Cheol asked Jin Do-Joon what was he going to do with his money. He also wondered why he withdraw all the money and convert them into US dollar. Jin Do-Joon expressed that he used the money to invest his father’s movie. Jin Yang-Cheol warned him that he will not forgive anyone who betrayed him including his family members. Jin Yang-Cheol told him that he should distant himself from Oh Se-Hyun. Jin Do-Joon told him that he was no longer befriended with Oh Se-Hyu due to having different opinion. Jin Yang-Cheol met Oh Se-Hyun personally. Oh Se-Hyun told Jin Yang-Cheol that Jin Do-Joon was planning to buy shares in another company and not Hando Steel. He also revealed that Jin Yang-Cheol’s younger son partnered with his competitor to purchase Hando Steel.

Jin Yang-Cheol left the matter to Jin Young-Ki to figure out a way to buy up that company. He did not want to lose the deal from his competitor. Since the company experienced cashflow issue, they had already max out all the possible cash to buy that company. Jin Hwa-Young offered to help him to overcome the issue, provided that he will support her husband in his political career. With the help from his sister, they managed to buy the company at a very expensive price. Jin Yang-Cheol did not scold Jin Yang-Cheol for joining hand with his competitor. In fact, he showed his gratitude and recognized Jin Young-Ki’s effort.

Jin Do-Joon converted all his money into US dollar and bought Amazon shares. The shares plunged higher and higher. He was prepared ahead for inflation that came by. He also setup a new company named Miracle, partnered with Oh Se-Hyun.

Jin Sung-Joon came back from US. Mo Hyun-Min, who was his fiancé approached him at the airport. She wanted him to cancel their arranged marriage. She also did some background check on him and showed him the pictures of him having fun with other women. She had a bad impression on him. While she was in the lift, Yoon Hyun-Min recognized her right away. Mo Hyun-Min felt uncomfortable when he kept looking at her. He took down the price tag on her blouse and gave it to her. Mo Hyun-Min knew who he was and left a good impression on him.

There were many companies undergone bankruptcy. Jin Yang-Cheol’s business was affected as well. He has been pressured by the President to take over the industry 2nd largest motor vehicle company, Ahjin Motor. Jin Do-Joon’s next target was also Ahjin Motor which was underwent bankruptcy. He wanted to save the company and retained all the employees as well. He asked Oh Se-Hyun to deal with the CEO and offered them a good deal. Jin Do-Joon’s intention was to help his father to retain his job so that his mother won’t die after watching his father being beaten up in the TV. Unfortunately, Mo Hyun-Min, a journalist, reported in the news that was unfavored for Jin Do-Joon. The CEO rejected their offer immediately.

Jin Yang-Cheol who wanted to buy this company, faced financial issue. He did not have enough cash to purchase the company and pay off their debts. Jin Do-Joon persuaded Oh Se-Hyun to close a deal with Jin Yang-Cheol by offering him to turn the company into global top 10 companies. He also willing to give money to settle the debts of the company. Jin Yang-Cheol accepted the deal and agreed to do as he said. Jin Do-Joon bought his mother’s restaurant. He went to his old house happily. He was shocked when he saw his mother funeral. He was unable to change the fate of his mother.

Jin Do-Joon could not accept the fact that his mother committed suicide. He went to the restaurant to look for clue. He discovered that his mother bought Soonyang Life Science’s shares. However, the company decided to liquidate and cause huge loss for his mother. Perhaps his mother was unbearable for being poor and felt guilty towards her sons for unable provide good living for them. Jin Do-Joon looked into Soonyang Life Science to understand the company. He found out that Soonyang Life Science was actually a slush fund for Soonyang Corporate.

Jin Do-Joon looked for the next investment company. He decided to invest in Jae Construction to build a New Seoul Tower. In order to obtain the project, he secretly supported Choi Chang-Je to become the President. Jin Yang-Cheol was totally against Choi Chang-Je to join politician as he believed that they were after his money. Unexpectedly, Choi Chang-Je finally won the election and became the President. He gave the project to Jae Construction instead of Soonyang Construction. Jin Yang-Cheol believed that someone has backed him up. He asked his men to investigate the matter.

Jin Sung-Joon wanted to marry with Mo Hyun-Min as soon as possible. He also convinced Mo Hyun-Min that they could work together for the benefit of their companies. He asked her to find out who was the major shareholder of Miracle Company. Jin Sung-Joon volunteered to work at Soonyang Construction. He planned to build a new city at Seoul.

The prosecutor seized all the documents in Miracle Company. They believed that Miracle Company bribed Choi Chang-Je so that they can obtained the project. Oh Se-Hyun has been investigated. They requested him to reveal the true boss behind Miracle Company. Jin Do-Joon without hesitation came to see his grandfather and admit that he was the boss of Miracle Company. He told him that he was intended to buy Soonyang Company. He made a deal with him to release Oh Se-Hyun and he will hand over the project to Soonyang Construction.

Jin Do-Joon faced another issue. He planned to build a Digital City, but many broadcasting companied have withdrew their investment due to Soonyang Company. Oh Se-Hyun and Jin Do-Joon came up with another plan. They decided to look for gaming companies who did not use Soonyang Company’s ads. The company wanted to meet Jin Do-Joon in person. When Jin Do-Joon attended the appointment, he was surprise to see Mo Hyun-Min. He turned down her offer as he did not want to become her puppet.

After Jin Do-Joon left, he went to a café to meet Seo Min-Young. Unfortunately, she quit working there. Right after he left, Seo Min-Young returned the key to the staff. The staff told her that a guy was looking for her just now. Seo Min-Young ran out of the café to find him. However, she did not see him anywhere. Seo Min-Young previously gave Jin Do-Joon her phone number. He looked at the number and kept it into his wallet.

On the other hand, Jin Do-Joon encouraged Choi Chang-Je to go for higher position, such as president. He wanted to use him in near future. Jin Sung-Joon came to see him and threatened him to be Jin’s family puppet as usual.  Jin Yang-Cheol checked his body and found that he has an illness. He believed that he cannot lived any longer so he decided to find a suitable person in his family to take over the business.

In the end, Jin Sung-Joon and Mo Hyun-Min get married. However, Jin Sung-Joon knew that Mo Hyun-Min was in love with Jin Do-Joon. He also revealed that their marriage will remain as a show. Jin Do-Joon managed to get a spot in Digital City with other companies. He came to Jin Sung-Joon’s wedding to inform him about it. Jin Sung-Joon was frustrated because he did not expect things changed like this. Jin Yang-Cheol heard about the news and get angry towards Jin Sung-Joon. Although everyone expects Jin Yang-Cheol will give Jin Sung-Joon shares as a wedding gift, Jin Yang-Cheol demoted his position and assigned him to take care of the warehouse instead. Mo Hyun-Min pretended to be fainted so that Jin Sung-Joon did not make thing worse. She also tried her best to make Jin Sung-Joon come back to the head office.

Jin Yang-Cheol allocated companies into 3 parts for his three children. Jin Hwa-Young was in charge of shopping mall. However, she has to provide a huge sum of money to the head office in order to buy shopping mall. However, she has no money. She approached to Miracle Company to ask for money. In return, she has to give 30% of shares as a collateral. She also humiliated Jin Sung-Joon in front of the wealthy wives and Jin Do-Joon. Oh Se-Hyun introduced her to buy New Data Technology shares. At some point of time, he also asked her to sell all of her shares. Eventually, Jin Hwa-Young earned a lot of money from share market. She followed his instruction to sell all the shares. However, she wasn’t happy about it since the share price rose dramatically. She decided to put all the money to buy the shares rather than runs her business. Although her director of finance advised her to focus on her business, her did not listen to her. One day, the share price plummeted. She lost a lot of money and unable to pay her debts. Jin Hwa-Young came to Oh Se-Hyun and asked for more money. Oh Se-Hyun told her that he needed more share as a collateral. She refused to give and left. She looked for her father and brothers for help. Unfortunately, her brothers also intended to buy up her company too. Her father chased her out due to her disability to run the shopping mall.

Jin Do-Joon met up with Seo Min-Young. He gave her a tip off regarding Jin Hwa-Young’s embezzlement. Seo Min-Young investigated the case. She seized all the documents in Jin Hwa-Young’s office. Mo Hyun-Min told Jin Hwa-Young that Seo Min-Young was Jin Do-Joon’s classmate. During the interrogation, Jin Hwa-Young denied all the charges. In fact, she gave another tip to Seo Min-Young. She claimed that Miracle Company was the one to be blamed for trying to take over her company. Jin Do-Joon obtained evidence from Director of finance and gave it to Seo Min-Young. He also asked Jin Yang-Cheol to announce general meeting to dismissal of CEO Jin Hwa-Young. Seo Min-Young came to the meeting and presented the evidence in front of all the shareholders. She also pointed that Jin Hwa-Young provided false tip for them. Due to all the circumstances, Jin Hwa-Young was forced to sell her company to Miracle Company. Jin Do-Joon then appointed a specialist to run the shopping mall.

Seo Min-Young’s superior passed Jin Hwa-Young’s case to another prosecutor to handle it. Seo Min-Young was furious and felt being useless. Her superior was looking down at her as a woman. She met up with Jin Do-Joon and spilled out her anger. She could not believe him whom he told her that she will become a successful prosecutor one day. Jin Do-Joon listened to her story. He then brought her to a public place where the news showed her favorite idol was coming back to Seoul. It was unbelievable for her. Jin Do-Joon told her, if she does not believe herself, she should believe in him.

Jin Dong-Ki released a news about Miracle Company who manipulated the share market of New Data Technology. Seo Min-Young was in-charged of this case. She came to Miracle Company and seized his document. As many shareholders decided to withdraw their investment, Miracle Company faced a crisis. Jin Do-Joon came to see his grandfather and explained to him. Jin Dong-Ki jumped in and mentioned that he will help Jin Do-Joon to settle the problem. Jin Dong-Ki intended to buy Miracle Company. He even obtained Miracle Company’s investment portfolio. He invested the companies that Miracle Company invested.

Jin Do-Joon had a headache on current issue. He asked Oh Se-Hyun to sell off all his oversea shares in order to protect his company. Right before September 11, he managed to sell all his oversea shares. USA faced territory attacks. The share market in USA was crashed. Jin Dong-Ki worried as he was making loss due to investment in huge amount in US share market. He asked his workers to place in put option in order to reduce loss. Jin Do-Joon did not put in put option as suggested by Oh Se-Hyun. In fact, he wanted to buy more blue-chip stock. As expected, the share market recovered in a short period of time. Jin Dong-Ki made a huge lost in share market. Jin Do-Joon came to his office. He offered to buy Soonyang Investment Company from him. He also revealed that there are a few major shareholders who wished to withdraw their investment from Soonyang Investment Company. Jin Dong-Ki has no other choice but to accept the offer from Miracle Company. Seo Min-Young checked all the evidences and found Miracle Company was not guilty. She came to tell Jin Do-Joon that.

Due to Jin Sung-Joon’s good performance in warehouse, Jin Yang-Cheol decided to let Jin Sung-Joon to come back to headquarter. Jin Sung-Joon thanked his wife for giving him a chance. Mo Hyun-Min hoped that he did not ruin the chance to come back to headquarter.

Jin Yang-Cheol wanted to establish Financial Holding Company. He appointed Jin Do-Joon to in charge of the company. While they were on their way to the press conference, there was a car crashed on them. Suddenly, another lorry was trying to crash him as well. Luckily, Jin Do-Joon’s driver came on time to reduce the impact force of car crash. The driver was badly injured and was sent to hospital for treatment. Jin Yang-Cheol and Jin Do-Joon was fine. However, they wanted to find out who was behind the car accident. Jin Yang-Cheol told Jin Do-Joon not to trust anyone and he wanted him to promise that he will be more careful. When Jin Yang-Cheol asked whether he still wanted to buy Soonyang Group. Jin Do-Joon just nodded his head.

Jin Yang-Cheol prevented anyone to visit him at the hospital. At the same time, Jin Do-Joon tried to find the culprit. His man found the lory driver who schemed for the car accident. The lorry driver revealed that the painting was given as a payment for their job. After checking, it was believed that the painting was originally from Mo Hyun-Min’s gallery. Seo Min-Young went to Mo Hyun-Min’s gallery and asked for the painting. She told her that the painting has been stolen. When Jin Sung-Joon came back from work, Mo Hyun-Min asked him who did he give the painting to.

Jin Do-Joon reported the matter to Jin Yang-Cheol. Jin Yang-Cheol told him that he was scared. He suddenly became forgetful and scared and hid beside his bed. Jin Do-Joon wondered what had happened to his grandfather. Jin Do-Joon and his secretary consulted the doctor regarding his illness. The doctor stated that he was experiencing delirium symptom. However, Jin Yang-Cheol still insisted to attend the general meeting as the shareholders only listened to him. Jin Do-Joon afraid that his delirium symptom might happened during the general meeting in which he might lost his position as the CEO of Soonyang Group. After listening to him, Jin Yang-Cheol stayed at the hospital for treatment.

Before the meeting, Jin Do-Joon visited Jin Sung-Joon. He told him about his grandfather’s condition. He also hoped that he can support his grandfather decision to appoint him as the CEO of Financial Holding Company. He threatened him that his grandfather was watching them. Jin Sung-Joon was worried and scared of his grandfather. During the meeting, he approved the establishment of Financial Holding Company. However, when it came to selection of CEO, he suggested Jin Young-Ki to hold the position. Jin Do-Joon started to worry as he knew that not many people will vote for him. Suddenly, Jin Yang-Cheol showed up in the meeting. When he asked the shareholders will they vote for Jin Do-Joon, everyone voted him. Therefore, Jin Do-Joon successfully became the CEO. 

Jin Sung-Joon knew about Jin Yang-Cheol’s health condition. He tested his memory in front of all the shareholder. It happened that he has lost his memory for a while. Jin Do-Joon watched him and quickly end their conversation and moved on. Inside the lift, Jin Yang-Cheol made a scene there. He also urine inside the lift due to his delirium. In order to cover up, Jin Do-Joon purposely scolded his grandfather so that the cleaner did not notice his illness. At the hospital, Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife came to visit him. Jin Yang-Cheol asked whether she was the one who tried to kill him. He was so angry and scolded his wife. Suddenly, his mentioned about other stuffs. Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife found out his illness and decided to bring him back home.

Mo Hyun-Min approached to Seo Min-Young and told her that the painting was fake. She has the original painting in her gallery. She told her that there was a lot of galleries who selling fake painting. She gave another a name card – Sim Gallery. Jin Do-Joon’s men came to the gallery to investigate. They found out that the same seal was used. This gallery was belonged to Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife. During the dinner, Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife decided to tell her children about his illness. Jin Do-Joon stepped in and gave her a medical report of Jin Yang-Cheol and attached Sim gallery name card. He told her he will be waiting for her there. Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife was shocked and told her children that their father was healthy.

Jin Yang-Cheol’s wife came to the gallery to look for Jin Do-Joon. He threatened her to keep Jin Yang-Cheol’s illness as secret so that he will keep hers too. Seo Min-Young came to see Jin Do-Joon and asked about the on-going investigation. She was disappointed when Jin Do-Joon refused to tell her his finding and decided to end the case easily. She also did her own investigation and knew who was the owner of Sim gallery.

Jin Do-Joon visited Jin Yang-Cheol. His condition has been improved. He asked Jin Do-Joon why did he want to buy Soonyang Group instead of inherit it. He also asked whether he still wanted to buy Soonyang. He asked what he really wanted.

Jin Sung-Joon paid a visit to his father-in-law. He asked his father-in-law to spread the news about how bad Soonyang Motor Company was. It has been all over the news and the share price of Soonyang Motor Company dropped dramatically. Yoon Hyun-Woo was waiting for an opportunity to make Soonyang Motor Company rise again.

Jin Yang-Cheol asked why everyone thinks Soonyang Motors is a delusion. Jin Do-Joon said that the Soonyang cars were expensive to most people. Jin Do-Joon wanted to see the charm of Soonyang Motors. He asked Yang-Cheol to let him run Soonyang Motors. Jin Young-Ki was told that Yang-Cheol let Do-Joon run Soonyang Motors. Jin Young-Ki don’t believe he will make it because Jin Do-Joon knew nothing about cars. They believed that Jin Do-Joon will take the blame if he failed.

Jin Do-Joon told the staffs of Soonyang Motor Company that he wanted to sell the World Cup instead of the cars. He used this marketing strategy to promote their cars. People will want to buy more cars from Soonyang Motors if Korean team wins at the World Cup.

Jin Do-Joon met with banker to discuss about the long-term plan for their loan. However, the banker rejected his offer. He told him that he would like to work with Soonyang Card. Jin Do-Joon asked the banker if Jin Dong-Ki was behind Soonyang Card. The banker doesn’t reply him and walked away.

Jin Do-Joon told Oh Se-Hyun that he wanted to take over Soonyang Card due to the World Cup was around the corner. Mo Hyun-Min brought tea to Jin Yang-Cheol. She told him to drink tea before she left. However, he stopped her because he thought her was Hae-In. He told her that he was going to give Soonyang Group to Jin Do-Joon. Suddenly, Jin Do-Joon showed up and took him away.

Mo Hyun-Min thought about Jin Yang-Cheol’s words when she listed to the song. Lee Pil-Ok showed up behind her and asked Mo Hyun-Min if Jin Yang-Cheol said something to her. Mo Hyun-Min denied it and Lee Pil-Ok left. Jin Yang-Cheol told Jin Do-Joon to give up Soonyang Motors. He told him that he intended to sell Soonyang Motors. Jin Do-Joon reminded Yang-Cheol that the world will remember his mistake if he sold Soonyang Motors. He told him that the world will accept his foresight when Korea team wins. But Jin Yang-Cheol didn’t believe that Korea team will win. Do-Joon asked him for a wager if Korea team wins.

Jin Yang-Cheol had a deep thinking. He thought the only one who cared for him was Jin Do-Joon. He told Hang-Jae that he wanted to change his will. Jin Hyung-Joon saw the poster of Soonyang Motors on the street. The poster stated that Korea team won. Hyung-Joon felt embarrassed. He called Do-Joon to take off all of the posters.

Jin Hyung-Joon shows the newspapers to Jin Do-Joon. He blamed him for using the word “congratulation” as the game has not begun. Do-Joon explained that he did it for cheering Korea team up. Jin Hyung-Joon worried because he believed that his brother fooled the nation. Jin Do-Joon comforted him that Korea team will win.

Jin Hyung-Joon and his families celebrated the victory of Korea team. Since the Korea team won, many people were buying Soonyang cars. The reporters surrounded Jin Do-Joon asked him if Korea team will continue to win. He told them to look for the next poster of Soonyang Motors.

Jin Young-Ki and his son watched the commercial Apollo. They could not believe that Jin Do-Joon will continue to win. Jin Young-Ki put his anger on Joo-Ryun whom he mentioned that Apollo will flop.

Apollo broke its sales records. Soonyang Motors received the Guinness Book of World Records. Everyone praised Jin Do-Joon for his efforts. They asked him if he will continue to predict the win of Korea team. Jin Do-Joon denies it. He thought Jin Yang-Cheol would be happy if he saw the paper.

Jin Yang-Cheol did not believe that Korea team will reach the semi-final. Hang-Jae told him to watch the game with Jin Do-Joon. Jin Yang-Cheol laughed to agree to it. Mo Hyun-Min went to see Jin Yang-Cheol. She wanted to find out his medicine. Lee Pil-Ok scolded her and took the medicine away from her. Mo Hyun-Min told Lee Pil-Ok that Jin Yang-Cheol wanted to give Soonyang Group to Jin Do-Joon. Lee Pil-Ok was shocked and left the medicine to her. As she walked out of the room, she saw Jin Yang-Cheol lying on the floor. She tries to wake him up. Jin Do-Joon hugged Jin Yang-Cheol and kept calling him.

Jin Yang-Cheol passed away. Jin Ye-Joon came back from oversea. Jin Ye-Joon mentioned that her grandfather changed his will. Jin Young-Ki had a drink with Hang-Jae. He asked him if he knew Yang-Cheol changed his will. Hang-Jae told Jin Young-Ki that he just obeyed Yang-Cheol’s order. Jin Young-Ki believed that Hang-Jae knew the reason why Yang-Cheol changed his will. Hang-Jae claimed that it’s the best choice Jin Yang-Cheol can make for Soonyang.

Hang-Jae told Jin family about the will of Jin Yang-Cheol that he gave nothing to Jin Do-Joon. Everyone was shocked to hear that. Jin Do-Joon also couldn’t understand why he did this to him. Jin Young-Ki thinks his father wanted to give them a chance.

Mo Hyun-Min told Jin Sung-Joon that Jin Do-Joon was the last person Jin Yang-Cheol visit. She told him that she took his side because they are husband and wife, but he thought she still has feelings for Jin Do-Joon. Oh Se-Hyun complained to Do-Joon why Yang-Cheol gave nothing to the grandson he liked most. Jin Do-Joon thew a fit to Oh Se-Hyun. He told him that he didn’t know why his grandfather did it to him as well. He walked out of his office. He remembered Yang-Cheol passed away after he told him that Korea team won.

Jin Yoon-Ki sent Lee Pil-Ok off Korea. He expressed that he can understand what she did because he’s a parent as well. It made her tear up.

The prosecutor handed over the papers to Seo Min-Young. He reported to her that Lee Pil-Ok gave all of her shares to Jin Do-Joon. Gye-Ok breaks into Seo Min-Young ’s office. He told her that Pil-Ok has left Korea. Seo Min-Young received a call from Jin Do-Joon. She asked him if he helped Lee Pil-Ok fleed from Korea. She also if he did it for Lee Pil-Ok’s shares. She was anger that she tried to catch Lee Pil-Ok for his sake but he ruined it. Jin Do-Joon stopped her and persuaded her that he won’t do something she doesn’t like once he achieved his goal. However, she pointed out that he’s a poor man.

Mo Hyun-Min told Jin Sung-Joon that she wanted to live like Lee Pil-Ok. He asked her if she wanted to take his life. She showed the pregnancy test kit to him. She told him that she will try her best to help him be the owner of Soonyang.

Jin Young-Ki stood in front of the window. He stared at outside. Jin Sung-Joon joined his father. He knows Jin Young-Ki worried that he will fail. He comforted him that he knew how to win. Lee Dong-Ki held the meeting. He introduced Jin Do-Joon as the candidate of the president.

Suddenly, shareholders received the message from someone who told them that Jin Do-Joon killed Jin Yang-Cheol since he was the last person who visited him. Jin Dong-Ki asked Jin Do-Joon to explain it to the people. Jin Do-Joon denied the charge, but he has no evidence to prove what he said. Jin Sung-Joon offered to take a look at the footage in Yang-Cheol’s ward. Hang-Jae told the people that Jin Do-Joon asked him to ruin the footage.

Before the meeting, Hang-Jae told Jin Sung-Joon               that he will help him if he gave some shares to him. Jin Dong-Ki announced that Hang-Jae became the president of the holding company. Hang-Jae bowed to the people to thank them for their supports. He told Jin Do-Joon that the one who asked him to ruin the footage was Jin Yang-Cheol.

Jin Dong-Ki was happy to drink with Jin Young-Ki after they became the owners of Soonyang Holding Company. He believed that Jin Do-Joon wasn’t their rival. Jin Young-Ki mentioned Hang-Jae betrayed Jin Do-Joon in front of people. He thought Hang-Jae will keep a low profile. He worried that Jin Dong-Ki will betray him. Jin Dong-Ki comforted Jin Young-Ki that they are brothers. Jin Young-Ki smiles.

Joo-Ryun handed over the flowers to Hang-Jae. Hang-Jae tried to get the shares from Joo-Ryun. But he discovered that what he got was the embezzlement papers. Jin Sung-Joon wronged Hang-Jae to be an embezzler. He told him to resign. Hang-Jae realized that Jin Sung-Joon gave up on him after he had used him to deal with Jin Do-Joon.

Hang-Jae yelled at Jin Sung-Joon. He asked him why he did to him. Jin Sung-Joon told Hang-Jae to be reborn if he wanted to be the master. Hang-Jae laughed. Jin Sung-Joon told Jin Do-Joon that he’s not the grandson of Yang-Cheol anymore. He told him to sell all of his shares to him.

Choi Chang-Je holds the press conference. He told the reporters that he’s going to stop the establishment of Soonyang Holding Company. Jin Young-Ki watched the news. He asked his son how much money they’re going to lose. Jin Sung-Joon told his father that it’s four billion dollars.

Jin Dong-Ki got angry. He regrets for trusting Choi Chang-Je. Hwa-Young broke into the meeting room. She told her brothers that the idea was given by someone else. Choi Chang-Je laughed to thank Jin Do-Joon for giving the idea to him. He wondered how he came up with the idea. Jin Do-Joon told Choi Chang-Je that people would like to see the falling of the hero. Choi Chang-Je though the hero wouldn’t expect that his grandson made him fall.

Jin Do-Joon receives the USB flash drive from Hang-Jae. He watched the footage of Jin Yang-Cheol. He learned that Jin Yang-Cheol changed his will because he wanted to protect Soonyang as well as Jin Do-Joon. Yang-Cheol decided not to give anything to Jin Do-Joon to help him buy Soonyang Group.

Jin Do-Joon took the key that Jin Yang-Cheol gave him to the bank. He opened the safe and found the papers of Soonyang Micro. He remembered that he saw this document before he was reborn. Jin Do-Joon took the legacy to see Hang-Jae. He asked him why he didn’t keep the legacy. Hang-Jae told Jin Do-Joon that he wanted to give Soonyang to him. Choi Chang-Je become the presidential candidate. Hwa-Young asks her husband if he’s happy to betray her family.

Choi Chang-Je ignored Hwa-Young. He tried to leave. She reminded him that he was used by Jin Do-Joon. He turned around and walked to her. He claimed that the idea was come up with by him. Hwa-Young asked Jin Young-Ki to help her husband be the next president. He agreed to it. She’s happy to tell him that they’re sister and brother.

Jin Ye-Joon read the newspapers. She learned that Choi Chang-Je failed to be the president. She told Jin Dong-Ki that she has a plan. Jin Young-Ki told Jin Sung-Joon that he doesn’t believe that Jin Dong-Ki will give up the position of the president. Jin Ye-Joon persuaded Jin Dong-Ki to part Soonyang Group. He laughed to agree it.

Oh Se-Hyun walked into Jin Do-Joon’s office. He revealed he was fired by Jin Dong-Ki. He added that Jin Dong-Ki fires many presidents. Jin Do-Joon realizes that Jin Dong-Ki began to take action. He watched the commercial of Daeyoung Card. He decided to sell Soonyang Card. Jin Do-Joon had meeting with the creditors. He promised to take over Soonyang Card and Daeyoung Card. Oh Se-Hyun followed Jin Do-Joon. He’s surprised that he took over Daeyoung Card.

Oh Se-Hyun believed that Jin Do-Joon that to be the next president. Jin Do-Joon laughed to ask Oh Se-Hyun for his wallet. He showed the cards to him. He told him that he learned the tip from him. Jin Young-Ki gave a speech at the memorial party of Jin Yang-Cheol.

Yoo Ji-Na looked at Jin Young-Ki. She thought he’s speaking empty words. Son Jung-Rae has a fight with Ji-Na. She reminded her that she used her father’s money to help Jin Young-Ki take over Soonyang Group. Jin Sung-Joon promised Mo Hyun-Min that he will make their child be the chairman of Soonyang Group. But she pointed out that he’s still not the chairman.

 

 

Soonyang Card faced a tremendous issue whereby there was many creditors unable to pay off their debts. Jin Do-Joon reported to Jin Young-Ki that there’s a company paying off the debts of Soonyang Group. Jin Young-Ki worried about his shares. Jin Dong-Ki realized that someone used the bait to trick him and Jin Young-Ki. Hwa-Young laughed. She wondered who will be the chairman of Soonyang Group.

Hang-Jae ran into Joo-Ryun. He told him not to work hard too much because he believed that he will be given up by his master. He added that Jin Young-Ki won’t be the chairman. Jin Do-Joon admitted to Jin Young-Ki that the one who paid off the debts of Soonyang Card was him.

Jin Young-Ki was furious. Son Jung-Rae worried about her husband. Jin Sung-Joon comforted Jung-Rae that Jin Young-Ki was fine. But he’s furious to pour out his father’s wine. Jin Young-Ki scolded Jin Sung-Joon. He asked him if he thought he’s a pushover.

Jin Sung-Joon admitted it when he yelled at Young-Ki. He reminded him that Jin Do-Joon will replace him because Jin Do-Joon was the largest shareholder. Jin Do-Joon took the champagne to his office. He wanted to celebrate with Rachel and Oh Se-Hyun because he just became the largest shareholder. But the two are off the duty. Rachel told Jin Do-Joon to drink the champagne with Seo Min-Young.

Jin Do-Joon left his office and ran into Seo Min-Young on the street. He followed her. Jin Do-Joon returned home. Hae-In told Jin Do-Joon that she prepared the dinner for him. She told him that she wishes him to find a girlfriend. Jin Do-Joon confessed to Hae-In that he’s seeing a girl. She laughed. Choi Chang-Je held a press conference. He told the reporters that he will look into the funds. He returned to Jin family. He told the people of Soonyang not to worry about the investigation too much. Jin Dong-Ki stopped Choi Chang-Je from leaving. He told him that he introduced a bad guy to Jin Do-Joon.

The prosecutor broke into Jin Do-Joon’s office. He told him that he’s arrested because someone reported him. Seo Min-Young walked into the interrogation room to see Jin Do-Joon. Joo-Ryun mentioned Jin Do-Joon was arrested. He told Jin Sung-Joon that it was good news to them.

Seo Min-Young showed the evidence to Jin Do-Joon that Mr. Kang told them that Jin Do-Joon gave funds to him. Jin Dong-Ki visited Oh Se-Hyun. He reminded him that he won’t be able to buy Soonyang Group if Jin Do-Joon was sent to prison. He handed over the papers to him. He told him to make money with him. But Oh Se-Hyun rejected Dong-Ki’s offer.

Jin Dong-Ki returned to his office. He threw a fit to Managing Director Baek. He blamed him for telling him to buy Soonyang Card. Jin Ye-Joon handed over the evidence to Jin Dong-Ki. He discovered that Managing Director Baek embezzled. He fired him. Managing Director Baek told Jin Dong-Ki to be careful before he left his office. But Dong-Ki didn’t believe what Managing Director Baek said.

Choi Chang-Je handed over the drinks to Seo Min-Young. He told her not to forgive Jin Do-Joon even if Jin Do-Joon was his family. It made her believe that Jin Do-Joon was tricked by someone. She told Gye-Ok to look into the case. Managing Director Baek visited Seo Min-Young. He told her that he wanted to confess. She met with him. He told her that the funds were given by Jin Dong-Ki.

Jin Dong-Ki was taken to the interrogation room. He denied the charge. Seo Min-Young goes to see Jin Do-Joon. She told him that they have arrested Jin Dong-Ki. She added that she believed that he’s innocent. He’s surprised that she trusted him. Yoo Ji-Na followed Jin Young-Ki to the study. She begged him to save her husband. Unfortunately, he rejected it. Yoo Ji-Na walked out of Jin Young-Ki’s study. She ran into Son Jung-Rae. She wiped off her tears and she had a fight with her. She’s furious to walk away. Jin Sung-Joon reminded Jin Young-Ki that Jin Dong-Ki won’t fight with him for Soonyang if he saved him this time.

Jin Ye-Joon told Jin Dong-Ki to give up Soonyang if he wanted to be saved. Jin Dong-Ki realized that Jin Sung-Joon gave the idea to Jin Young-Ki. The lawyer told Jin Dong-Ki that the prosecutors asked for the trophy. Yoo Ji-Na wanted to give the largest trophy to the prosecutors.

Joo-Ryun reported to Jin Young-Ki that the prosecutors were looking into Soonyang Group. Jin Young-Ki laughed because he believed that the prosecutors will get nothing. But Joo-Ryun told Jin Young-Ki that the prosecutors were looking into the loan sharks.

Jin Young-Ki wondered how the prosecutors knew it. Son Jung-Rae remembered that she told Yoo Ji-Na that her family helped Jin Young-Ki be the chairman of Soonyang Group. Seo Min-Young watched the news. She thought she should thank Jin Dong-Ki. Gye-Ok points out that the one Seo Min-Young should thank was Jin Do-Joon.

Seo Min-Young met Jin Do-Joon. She asked him if he planned to arrest his two uncles. He admitted it. She asked him if he really wanted to buy Soonyang. He told her that he won’t be the chairman like his two uncles. He wanted to get back to her and asked her to give him a chance.

Seo Min-Young refused to give Jin Do-Joon a chance. She tried to leave. But he stopped her and told her to believe in luck. He showed the newspapers to her. He told her that they will see each other again when Mi-Ran wins. He also drew a big picture of their future plan.

Jin Do-Joon walked out of the Prosecutors’ Office. In-Suk picks Jin Do-Joon up. Jin Do-Joon gets in the car. Oh Se-Hyun thought Jin Do-Joon didn’t have to sacrifice himself to gain the trust. Jin Do-Joon told Oh Se-Hyun that he needs the management rights to be the chairman of Soonyang. Oh Se-Hyun decided to use Choi Chang-Je to achieve it. While he was on the way to attend the meeting, he saw a familiar background of Yoon Hyun-Woo. He stopped his car for a moment. Suddenly, another car crashed his car from the behind. Jin Do-Joon was sent to the hospital. Yoon Hyun-Woo tried to get up from the bed. But the doctor and the nurses stopped him. He looked at himself in the mirror. He remembered he was killed in his previous life and he crashed Jin Do-Joon’s car.

Yoon Hyun-Woo punched the mirror. He’s surprised to see Seo Min-Young. She told him that she saved his life. He told her that he knew who she was. She handed over the passport to him. She tried to leave. But he stopped her and borrowed a phone. He called his brother and made sure that they have no worry on him. Then, he returned the phone to her.

Yoon Hyun-Woo thanked Seo Min-Young for saving his life. She did not want him to repay her but she wanted his testimony. She asked him who tried to kill him. He told her that he just did what he’s been told to do.

Yoon Hyun-Woo and Seo Min-Young arrived at the airport. The prosecutor stopped him. He told him that he’s going to arrest him because he embezzled 700 million won from Soonyang Group. Yoon Hyun-Woo ran away when Seo Min-Young looked at the warrant. He got in the cab and borrowed a phone from the driver. He called Yoon Hyun-Min. Yoon Hyun-Min reported to Yoon Hyun-Woo that the prosecutors are in their house. Yoon Hyun-Woo asked for his favor.

Yoon Hyun-Woo returned home. He saw his father begging the prosecutors to help his son because he doesn’t believe that his son would do so. The prosecutors ignored him and left. Yoon Hyun-Woo held the umbrella for his father because he worried that he might catch a cold. Yoon Hyun-Min showed up. He gave Yoon Hyun-Woo the stuff he asked for. Yoon Hyun-Woo told his father not to bow to anyone for him. He handed over the umbrella to him.

Joo-Ryun returned home. He’s surprised that Yoon Hyun-Woo was waiting for him. Yoon Hyun-Woo asked Joo-Ryun why Jin Sung-Joon wanted to kill him since he just accepted his order to take the money. Joo-Ryun showed the newspapers to Yoon Hyun-Woo. He told him that Jin Sung-Joon can conceal the money if he’s dead. Yoon Hyun-Woo asked Joo-Ryun to help him deal with Jin Sung-Joon. Joo-Ryun rejects it because Yoon Hyun-Woo betrayed him ever. He advised him to give up on taking revenge. He summoned the bodyguards. Yoon Hyun-Woo fleed before the bodyguards caught him.

Yoon Hyun-Woo visited Seo Min-Young. He told her that he has the evidence. However, she told him that his evidence will become useless because he’s a suspect. He still gave the evidence to her because he thought she’s the only one who can deal with Jin Sung-Joon.

Jin Ye-Joon visited Joo-Ryun at the restaurant. She mentioned there was a person visiting him. She told him that she needed the person to deal with Jin Sung-Joon. She left the restaurant. Joo-Ryun opened another door. Jin Sung-Joon was waiting for him.

Joo-Ryun told Jin Sung-Joon that Yoon Hyun-Woo was like Jin Do-Joon. He mentioned that he was the one who cleaned up the mess of the death of Jin Do-Joon. Jin Sung-Joon poured Joo-Ryun a drink and hoped that they can get along together. Seo Min-Young made Yoon Hyun-Woo coffee. She told him the good news so that he can leave her office. While he was on his way back, he saw the cover of the band. She revealed she’s a fan of the band. He also told her that the woman he loved likes the band very much. He left her office.

Yoon Hyun-Woo returned home. He saw his house was messy. He realized that it was done by the people of Soonyang. He saw the bodyguards who stayed outside. He realized that they wish him to be silent. He looked at the calendar. He could not find the answer why he was reborn as Jin Do-Joon. He looked for the magazine cover of Oh Se-Hyun. He decided to go to visit him for the answer.

Jin Hyung-Joon played the guitar for Hae-In because it’s her birthday. He also invited his father to come over. Jin Yoon-Ki showed up with the flowers. Hae-In blamed him for not protecting Jin Do-Joon. He felt guilty because he wanted to get Soonyang as well. Suddenly, she got a call from Oh Se-Hyun.

Hae-In met with Oh Se-Hyun at the cafe. He asked her for her shares. It made her wonder whose side he took. He told her that he took Jin Do-Joon’s side. He added that he found a chairman for Soonyang so that he needed to use her shares. However, she concerned that he cannot defeat Jin Sung-Joon. Yoon Hyun-Woo watched Hae-In from far.

Oh Se-Hyun took Yoon Hyun-Woo to return to Miracle Investment. They made a plan to deal with Jin Sung-Joon. Oh Se-Hyun united with the minority shareholders to deal with Jin Sung-Joon. Jin Sung-Joon worried about it. Joo-Ryun suggested Jin Sung-Joon to use money to resolve the problem.

Oh Se-Hyun told Yoon Hyun-Woo that the meeting of the minority shareholders was just a bait. The prosecutor reported to Seo Min-Young that Jin Sung-Joon was buying many the shares of Soonyang. She remembered Yoon Hyun-Woo told her that the one who used the money is the killer who tried to kill him.

Seo Min-Young met Choi Chang-Je. She asked him to let her look into Jin Sung-Joon. Choi Chang-Je wanted his reputation as a President to be good, so he allowed her to carry out the investigation. Jin Sung-Joon watched the news about attending the hearing. Joo-Ryun reminded Jin Sung-Joon that he’s going to be the chairman. He thought it was time to let Jin Young-Ki take a break forever.

Yoon Hyun-Woo met with Seo Min-Young. Another prosecutor reminded she that the guest was waiting for her. Therefore, she left. He smiled while he saw her left. He explained to the prosecutor that he thought the nickname “Soonyang’s Grim Reaper” suited her well. The prosecutor revealed that she wore black for mourning her fiancé, Jin Do-Joon.

Jin Yoon-Ki met with Seo Min-Young. He handed over the evidence to her. He expressed that he was regret of what he did 20 years ago. Yoo Ji-Na brought up Jin Do-Joon’s death in the family meeting. Choi Chang-Je reminded his families that everyone will be ended if people know what happened to Jin Do-Joon. Jin Sung-Joon was furious to leave the meeting room. Jin Yoon-Ki blamed the families for not trusting Jin Sung-Joon as they all believed that he was the one who killed Jin Do-Joon.

In the past 20 years, Jin Sung-Joon confronted with Jin Young-Ki. He swore that he did not kill Jin Do-Joon. Jin Young-Ki placed his business card on the table and told him that he got it from the scene of Jin Do-Joon’s accident. Jin Sung-Joon kneed to his father asked him to help him. Jin Young-Ki told him that he won’t make him be the killer. In fact, he wanted him to follow what he said.

Mo Hyun-Min told Jin Sung-Joon not to attend the hearing. It was because she wished him to be the chairman. But he called Joo-Ryun and told him that he decided to attend the hearing. Jin Sung-Joon and Joo-Ryun arrived at the court. They ran into Yoon Hyun-Woo. Jin Sung-Joon ignored him and Joo-Ryun teased him. Yoon Hyun-Woo played the recorder during the hearing. He used this evidence against Jin Young-Ki and Joo-Ryun who plotted the car accident of Jin Do-Joon 20 years ago. Jin Sung-Joon was mad and yelled at him. The police quickly dragged him out. Jin Young-Ki who was in hospital passed away.

Yoon Hyun-Woo thanked Seo Min-Young for trusting him. He also said those words that resemblance of Jin Do-Joon. Oh Se-Hyun was amazed by Yoon Hyun-Woo’s talent by taking over Soonyang Group without holding any shares. Soonyang Group was now run by specialist. Other Jin family members decided to step down from their position. Mo Hyun-Min also signed off her divorce paper with Jin Sung-Joon. Queen Hwaryeon has 5 sons. They are Crown Prince, Grand Prince Seongnam, Grand Prince Muan, Grand Prince Gyeseong and Grand Prince Ilyoung. She is very proud of her Crown Prince as he is the most outstanding among them. Other sons are unable to surpass him.

Grand Prince Seongnam, Grand Prince Muan, Grand Prince Gyeseong and Grand Prince Ilyoung do not like to study. They always skip their classes. Queen Hwaryeon has trouble to discipline her sons. As such, they showed no capacity for governance. Instead, the son of a concubine was chosen. In order to save her sons from an identical fate, Queen Hwaryeon pledged to be ruthless.

On the other hand, Dowager Queen met Consort Hwang. Consort Hwang was the favored candidate for queenship, but the king, determined to keep his maternal relatives in check. In order to find out the truth, Queen Hwaryeon followed Grand Prince Gyeseong to an abandoned palace. She was shocked when she discovered his secret. She ran away and cried in a secret place. She never expected her son to be like this. She went to see the Crown Prince. He was recovered. Initially, Grand Prince Seongnam decided to give up. After meeting up with the Crown Prince, he has been convinced and decided to give it a try.

Queen Hwaryeon was surprised all her son applied for the cohort selection. She did not hire any personal tutor to teach her sons. She read the books and highlighted the main points for the exam. She asked for Queen Hwaryeon’s servant and asked her about Grand Prince Gyeseong and Crown Prince. She did not reveal anything. After that, the servant quickly informed Queen Hwaryeon about it.

Queen Hwaryeon discovered that all the people that involved in Prince Taein’s treatment has been dead and left no record. As the Crown Prince’s condition has been deteriorating, Queen Hwaryeon persuaded him to focus on his recovery rather than his duty. She also asked the King to allow the Crown Prince to go for hot spring for skin disease treatment. In fact, she actually hid the Crown Prince in her quarters so that Physician Kwon can treat him. Queen Dowager was suspicious about Queen Hwaryeon and she asked Consort Hwang  to monitor her quarter.

During the exam, the King prepared an additional question to test his sons. He told them to think out of the box. Apparently, Grand Prince Seongnam and Grand Prince Gyeseong performed outstanding and they were qualified for second round. Some of the tutors, who were bribed by Consort Hwang, gave higher marks for Prince Uiseong.

On the other hand, Queen Dowager asked the King to follow her to a secret place. Queen Hwaryeon was unable to find her third son and she believed that he went to that place again. Suddenly, Queen Dowager asked her servant to pass her a message. She wanted her to meet the King to discuss about Grand Prince Gyeseong. Queen Hwaryeon has no choice but to follow the order. She made an eye contact with her servant to look for Grand Prince Gyeseong. As the servant checked Grand Prince Gyeseong’s quarter and he wasn’t there, she quickly informed Queen Hwaryeon about it. Queen Hwaryeon made an excuse to leave so that she can settle the issue. She ran as fast as possible to destroy all the evidence. When Grand Prince Gyeseong arrived there, he was surprised that the building was on fire. He asked the investigating team to find out who reported the fire. They told him that she was the servant that served Queen Hwaryeon. Grand Prince Gyeseong was totally angry and confronted with her. She told him to wait for her outside the palace. She brought him to another place. She asked a painter to paint her son’s portrait (wearing hanbok). She also returned the jewel to that Grand Prince Gyeseong cherished. He asked her wasn’t that she felt ashamed of him. She explained that she accepted him as he was her son.

Grand Prince Seongnam knew that his mother burnt down the abandoned palace. He came to visit his mother late at night. He barged in when she was not around. He saw his sick Crown Prince on the floor receiving treatment from Physician Kwon. Queen Hwaryeon explained to him about his brother’s condition and also tell him to focus on his study. He asked her was this how she protected them, she admitted it.

Prince Uiseong’s grandfather (Chief State Councilor Hwang Won-Hyeong) approached to Queen Dowager and asked for her support. He gave the questions and answers to Prince Uiseong right before the exam began. Grand Prince Gyeseong decided not to take the exam. He asked Grand Prince Seongnam to respect his decision. Grand Prince Seongnam went outside of the palace and looked for doctors who can treat his brother. He found Physician Yoo who was in hut village. He gave him his prescription and treatment. Grand Prince Seongnam told Queen Hwaryeon about it. Initially, Queen Hwaryeon was unwilling to try the remedies from outside the palace. As the Crown Prince begged her, she decided to give it a try.

Grand Prince Seongnam, Prince Uiseong and Prince Bogeom entered the second exam. In the end, Prince Bogeom has been chosen as cohort of Crown Prince. Prince Uiseong’s grandfather was unhappy about the result. He confronted with Queen Dowager. She asked him to wait for the right timing to replace the Crown Prince rather than just a cohort of Crown Prince.

Queen Hwaryeon visited Queen Dowager at her quarter. Queen Dowager asked about the Crown Prince’s condition. She also told Queen Hwaryeon that she hoped the Crown Prince can recovered after the Crown Princess delivered. On the delivery day, Crown Prince was fully recovered and appeared as healthy man in front of the King and Queen Dowager. At night, Queen Hwaryeon gathered all her sons to have a meal together.

During the morning lesson, while the Crown Prince and Prince Bogeom studied together, the Crown Prince suddenly spilled out blood and collapsed. Everyone was shocked. King Lee Ho was extremely furious as Queen Hwaryeon hide the truth from him. He banned her from leaving her quarter. At the same time, he asked Physician Cho to treat the Crown Prince.

Queen Hwaryeon was worried about the Crown Prince’s condition. She wanted to know what was happening in the palace. She mobilized her people secretly to understand what was going on before she took any measure.

As the news of Crown Prince collapsed being spread throughout the palace, all the officers were trying to pressure the King to depose the Crown Prince. Chief State Councilor Hwang Won-Hyeong was scheming to replace the Crown Prince to his grandson. He joined hand with Minister of War in order to make the plan successful.

After hearing the news, Grand Prince Seongnam, Grand Prince Muan, Grand Prince Gyeseong and Grand Prince Ilyoung worried about their elder brother’s condition. However, they were banned from visiting their brother and mother. Grand Prince Seongnam secretly sneaked into Queen Hwaryeon’s quarter and asked her about his brother’s condition. He then sneaked into the prison to ask the Physician Kwon about the cause and effect of the remedies that he brought. He also went into the hut village to confront with the Physician Yoo. The Physician Yoo explained to him that there was nothing wrong with his prescription. Queen Hwaryeon was happy that the Crown Prince was recovering after taking the medicine. She suspected someone was trying to kill to Crown Prince.

Queen Hwaryeon secretly went out of the palace. She summoned Deposed Queen Yoon and asked about the Crown Prince Taein. Deposed Queen Yoon told her that Queen Dowager was the one who murdered her son. Queen Hwaryeon afraid that the same incident might happened once again. She went to see the King. Chief State Councilor and Minister of War continue to pressure the King. They gathered other officers to ask the King to depose the Crown Prince. Queen Dowager also came to see the King and threatened him to agree with those officers. Queen Hwaryeon showed up and scolded those officers for blaming the Crown Prince without reason. The King agreed with Queen Hwaryeon and told all officers to leave and stop them from discussing about the removal of Crown Prince.

Suddenly, Eunuch came in rush to inform the Queen Hwaryeon that the Crown Prince was looking for her. However, by the time she arrived, it was too late. The Crown Prince has passed away. The King and Queen Hwaryeon carried out an investigation to find out the cause of his death. Chief State Councilor spread the rumors that the Crown Prince died due to poison. However, Queen Hwaryeon could not believe it.

Chief State Councilor continued to torture Physician Kwon. Physician Kwon refused to tell him even though he has been interrogated him for a couple of days. Consort Hwang worried that she might be in trouble if her father kept interrogated him. She came to see her father and tell him the truth. She told him that she was the one who instructed Physician Kwon to add other medicine to make the Crown Prince’s condition became worse. She never thought that this could lead to his death. Then, Chief State Councilor stopped interrogated Physician Kwon. Queen Hwaryeon was wondered why did he stop the interrogation process.

In order to visit Physician Kwon, Queen Hwaryeon made him come to see her instead. She asked him as if he changed the remedies provided. Physician Kwon denied and insisted that he did not change anything. She also asked him to keep quiet regarding the remedies.

Even since the Crown Prince passed away, Queen Hwaryeon decided to train other four sons to be the Crown Prince. She made them study hard and also trained them physically and mentally. She hoped that one of her sons can be chosen.

Prince Uiseong always challenged Grand Prince Seongnam and Prince Bogeom that he will be chosen to become the Crown Prince. He beat up Prince Bogeom and looked down at him due to his mother was once a maid of the Queen Hwaryeon. Grand Prince Seongnam stopped him from killing his stepbrother. While they were fighting, a tutor stopped them. The tutor had a talk with Grand Prince Seongnam. Grand Prince Seongnam wished to learn more from the tutor and asked him to study by his side. The tutor agreed with it.

Consort Tae overheard that the remedies that used to treat Crown Prince was brought from outside. She pretended she knew nothing about it and came to see Queen Hwaryeon. Queen Hwaryeon asked as if she wanted her son to be the Crown Prince. She also gave her a piece of advice that the selection of Crown Prince through concubine might hurt her as well as her son.

Prince Bogeom was a bright person. However, many people told him that he cannot become the Crown Prince as he wished due to his background. He asked his mother not to do anything. The next day, Chief State Councilor called Queen Hwaryeon, Queen Dowager and King Lee Ho to attend the interrogation. Physician Kwon did not say anything. However, Chief State Councilor presented the evidence that the medicine used was not from palace. He questioned Queen Hwaryeon for the origin of the medicine. However, the King decided to postpone the interrogation. Queen Dowager approached to Queen Hwaryeon and warned her to tell the truth. She threatened her that she will tell the King that she met Deposed Queen Yoon.

The Crown Princess was scare because she thought they were someone who was trying to kill her son. She came to the King and Queen Hwaryeon and tell them her concern. Queen Hwaryeon decided to investigate the matter. While she was feeding her grandson, she saw his drawing. She was shocked when she looked at it. She checked his body and found the needles pokes on his body. The spoon suddenly turned into black. She quickly performed first aid so that her grandson spilled out the food.

Queen Hwaryeon looked for the nanny who takes care of her grandson. That nanny did not tell any name and she decided to take her own life. She then checked the kitchen to find the poison, but they found nothing. Suddenly, her quarter was on fire. She quickly rushed to her quarter to have a look. The Crown Princess approached her and asked for her permission to leave the palace. Queen Hwaryeon refused to grant her wish as it was not safe outside the palace as well. Crown Princess threatened to kill herself in front of her. Queen Hwaryeon scolded her for not being brave enough to protect her son.

Grand Prince Seongnam went to see the King and admit that he was the one who brought the medicine from outside. The King asked him to bring the witness to support his claim. He went to the village to look for the Physician Yoo. Unfortunately, Physician Yoo has left. Grand Prince Seongnam went to another village to look for him, but failed. During the interrogation, Queen Hwaryeon told the King that Crown Princess was the one who gave her the medicine. Grand Prince Seongnam told the King that he failed to find the Physician Yoo. He told the King that he shouldn’t put the blame on Crown Princess. The King scolded him for missing the chance to defend her.

Queen Dowager met Queen Hwaryeon’s servant in private. She scolded her for not reporting to her regarding the meeting between Queen Hwaryeon and deposed Queen Yoon. She questioned her loyalty and who did she serve. After the meeting, her servant quickly informed Queen Hwaryeon about it.

Grand Prince Seongnam confronted with Queen Hwaryeon and asked her the reason why she framed Crown Princess. She explained that she has to protect her position in order to protect them. She promised that she will bring them back one day. She asked him whether he was prepared to become Crown Prince. She also asked him to join hand with her.

Queen Hwaryeon met Queen Dowager and Chief State Councilor late at night. She made a deal with them. She approved to select the Crown Prince wisely rather than choosing from Grand Princes. She proposed that she will persuade the King to demote Crown Princess and her son to commissioner. She also agreed to step down as Queen if none of her sons became the Crown Prince. Queen Dowager and Chief State Councilor were happy to hear that.

The next day, Crown Princess and her son were sent out of the palace. Chief State Councilor schemed to kill both of them. However, he was shocked when his men informed him that they were gone. Queen Hwaryeon prepared a safer home for them to stay. Queen Hwaryeon told the King to choose the Crown Prince wisely and not through the favor of the official.

Prince Bogeom approached Queen Dowager and asked for her support and make him into a wisest Crown Prince. Queen Dowager agreed to help him. The King announced that he will choose the wisest Crown Prince among his sons. He also tested them through exam. Queen Hwaryeon informed others concubines about this. Everyone was surprised when she said the exam has already begun.

Other concubines were trying to help their sons in secret although they knew that it was against the rules. In order to keep them in check, Queen Hwaryeon confined them in a room to do embroidery. During the exam, Grand Prince Seongnam has been attacked by the bandits. Fortunately, the royal guards were there to protect him. The royal guards reported the case to the King and Queen Hwaryeon. The King confronted with Chief State Councilor. However, he denied it right away. Chief State Councilor threatened the King about the death of late Crown Prince Taein. Therefore, King postponed the investigation.

Queen Hwaryeon was unhappy that the king was not be able to protect her son. She personally investigated the case. She discovered that the bandit was after Grand Prince Seongnam. She found the composite of Grand Prince Seongnam inside his mouth. She purposely mentioned that to all the concubines in order to find out who was behind it. She saw Consort Hwang reacted strangely. She asked the royal guard to follow them. The royal guards reported to Queen Hwaryeon that Chief State Councilor Hwang was also looking for the subleader. The royal guards continued to follow them until they found the subleader. They caught him and interrogated him. The subleader mentioned that someone came to meet his leader and asked him to rob Grand Prince Seongnam. After that, another woman came to see his leader. He recognized the hairpin of the woman. Queen Hwaryeon straight away knew that she was the servant who served Queen Dowager.

Queen Hwaryeon came to see Queen Dowager and warned her not to harm her son. She also threatened her that she will not stay still if she persisted to harm her son. Queen Hwaryeon told the King that Queen Dowager tried to harm her son. The King came to visit Queen Dowager. She pretended to be sick. She defended herself that she was innocent. In fact, she framed Queen Hwaryeon for giving her poison flower. The King scolded the Queen for giving the poison flower to his mother.

Grand Prince Seongnam and Prince Bogeom were given the same assignment. They have to convince Park Gyeong-U to return the palace with them. Park Gyeong-U was once a close friend of King Lee Ho. He was offered a position as Minister of Tax. Park Gyeong-U did not want to return to palace. He pretended to be blind living in an outskirt. Grand Prince Seongnam proved that Park Gyeong-U was not blind by jumping off the cliff right in front of him. Park Gyeong-U was shocked when he risked his life like this. Grand Prince Seongnam asked Prince Bogeom for help to get him up. However, Prince Bogeom just walked away. Since Park Gyeong-U granted them three days to make him change his mind, Grand Prince Seongnam decided to find a way to convince him. He walked around the shore and talked to the villagers. Coincidently, he met Minister of War’s daughter. She liked him very much and looking for him everywhere. She hugged him right after she saw him. Grand Prince Seongnam and Prince Bogeom discovered that Park Gyeong-U embezzled the fund to help the poor. They found the evidence and convinced him to come with them to the palace. Park Gyeong-U has been persuaded and decided to return to palace with them.

Queen Hwaryeon wanted to find who was the one that received Queen Dowager’s support. She approached Consort Tae to make her visit Queen Dowager. She also visited Chief State Councilor and told him that Consort Tae frequently visited Queen Dowager. She also revealed that Queen Dowager was trying to frame him for attempting to kill Grand Prince Seongnam. Chief State Councilor was totally angry. He came to Queen Dowager’s quarter with Consort Hwang                . They saw Consort Tae came out from her quarter. They were angry as Queen Dowager turned her back on them. Queen Dowager told them that she will decide who will become the Crown Prince.

Queen Dowager told Consort Tae about the Grand Prince Seongnam’s background. Then, Consort Tae spread the rumors outside the palace. She claimed that Grand Prince Seongnam was not the son of the King. Queen Hwaryeon and the King decided to investigate the person who spread the rumors.

Consort Ko told Consort Hwang about the secret of Grand Prince Gyeseong. She showed her the portrait that she found in his room. Consort Ko wanted Grand Prince Gyeseong to drop off from Crown Prince selection and dragged Queen Hwaryeon down as well. Prince Simso came to palace to look for his mother. He asked for food and told her that he had been robbed. Consort Ko did not care about how her son. All she wanted was he has to complete his assignment. She gave him her stuff to exchange for money. She also asked the guard to chase him out. Prince Simso lying on the floor outside the palace. Queen Hwaryeon noticed him and brought him back to palace. She gave him some food instead. Consort Ko heard about it and came to the Queen’s quarter. She scolded her son for being disgrace to the family. Prince Simso felt embarrassed to face his mother. He hung himself in his room. Luckily, Queen Hwaryeon discovered it. She quickly brought him to the doctor. Consort Ko came to see her son. Queen Hwaryeon talked to her and hoped that both Consort Ko and her son can get along with one another.

Queen Hwaryeon waited Prince Simso to awake. She told him that everyone was not perfect. She hoped that he won’t blame himself for not being able to become Crown Prince. She encouraged him to do what he likes and enjoyed his life. Prince Simso decided to withdraw his plaque as he has no intention to become the Crown Prince.

Queen Hwaryeon noticed that Grand Prince Muan did not finish his contest. He went to see his lover in courtesan house. Queen Hwaryeon scolded her son and asked him what will he do about her. He wanted her to be his concubine. Queen Hwaryeon talked to the woman. She hoped that she can give up her love on her son. She believed that her son was not deserved for her. The woman knew about the consequence and she hoped that Queen Hwaryeon did not stop her love for him.

Consort Ko came to see Queen Hwaryeon and told her about Consort Hwang who tried to reveal the secret of Grand Prince Gyeseong. Queen Hwaryeon asked her to exchange the portrait before the arrival of Consort Hwang. Consort Hwang told the King about Grand Prince Gyeseong’s secret. She brought the King to Consort Ko’s chamber. She has been betrayed by Consort Ko who showed the King another portrait. As Consort Hwang defamed Grand Prince Gyeseong for being a woman, she was demoted to 4^th rank concubine. Consort Hwang felt being humiliated and harassed by Queen Hwaryeon.

Grand Prince Gyeseong found out Seo Ham-Seok’s intention who tried to rebel towards the King. He also found the weapon as well as maps. He tried to stop Prince Uiseong from taking him to the palace. However, Prince Uiseong refused to listen to him. Prince Uiseong framed Seo Ham-Seok for murder and offered him a position in palace as stated in King’s verdict. Seo Ham-Seok decided to follow him in order to escape the murder charges. Grand Prince Gyeseong tried his best to return to the palace as soon as possible. Unfortunately, Consort Hwang ordered his men to delay his arrival. They also attempted to make Grand Prince Gyeseong commit suicide. Queen Hwaryeon managed to find her son in the forest. She brought him to a safe place to treat his wound. She took down his plaque as this round his failed his test.

The 3^rd round, the King decided to let the scholars to evaluate the most suitable person to be the Crown Prince. The King believed that the scholars were those who were free from politic and personal interest. He believed that they will make a wise judgement. All the scholars have been locked in a room in order to choose the best person to be the Crown Prince.

As the King submitted a new material to test his sons, Consort Hwang and Consort Tae worried that their sons might lost in the evaluation. They joined hand with other ministers and offered them assets and guarantee positions if their sons were chosen to be the Crown Prince.

Consort Hwang and Chief State Councilor begged Queen Dowager so that she can support Prince Uiseong. They offered a great deal for Queen Dowager. Then, Queen Dowager told Consort Tae to withdraw the plague of Prince Bogeom. She expressed that she did support Prince Bogeom. However, he was not the person who can become the Crown Prince. Queen Hwaryeon asked for Prince Bogeom and told him that she was going to punish his mother due to her wrongdoings. Prince Bogeom begged her not to punish his mother as he worried about her. Queen Hwaryeon explained to Prince Bogeom that he has the right to be selected as Crown Prince but not all the princes can become the Crown Prince. She expressed that she wanted him to stay by the Crown Prince side and help him. Queen Hwaryeon temporary punished Consort Tae for spreading rumors about her and also blackmailed her. She demoted her as her court maid to clean her bedchamber. Consort Tae accepted her punishment without complaint. Queen Hwaryeon also talked to Consort Tae that she hoped that she can reflect on her wrongdoings. She advised her to choose the right path and not to put her son in troubles. She also allowed her to talk out with Prince Bogeom. Prince Bogeom cried and hugged Consort Tae as he missed her. He did not blame her for what she did.

Consort Ko informed Queen Hwaryeon about what was going on among the scholars. Although she knew that Chief State Councilor and Minister of War Yoon have did something to influence the decision of the scholars, she just monitored them from far. However, she could not stand still when they delivered messages from outside to the scholar to fully support Prince Uiseong. She felt that it was really unfair. She went to the scholar room and saw the food was being served. She spot-checked those food and found the hidden papers. As the King agreed to allow her to enter the scholar room, Queen Hwaryeon took this opportunity to talk to them. She found a few and warned them that she will not punish them for secretly communicate with outsider. However, she hoped that they can make a wise judgement on Crown Prince selection. All the scholars was convinced and decided to uphold their dignity and make their own judgement to choose the right candidate to become the Crown Prince.

Before the King announced the evaluation of the scholar, Chief State Councilor stopped him. He raised the issue of Grand Prince Seongnam’s identity. He demanded the King to conduct a blood test. Before that, Chief State Councilor and Consort Hwang contaminated the water so that Grand Prince Seongnam’s blood and the King’s blood cannot collide with one another. Queen Hwaryeon knew that it was the trick of Chief State Councilor. Therefore, she also asked him and Consort Hwang to conduct the same test with the same water as well. It turned out that their blood was not collide with one another too. Queen Hwaryeon requested Queen Dowager to check all her grandsons’ ear which has similar genetic characteristic as the King. Chief State Councilor and Consort Hwang planned to take down Crown Prince. Prince Uiseong expressed his worry that his murder case might affect his enthronement. He asked his uncle to kill him before he spoke. Chief State Councilor promised that he will handle him. As Prince Uiseong lose the contest, he has to leave the palace.

Park Gyeong-U asked the King to allow him to hold another position. He wished to become a tutor for Crown Prince. The King approved it and happy that he was willing to serve the people as well as the government.

Queen Hwaryeon was looking into Physician Kwon’s background. She was suspicious about him. She discovered that he has connection with Consort Hwang. After he left the palace, Queen Hwaryeon sent her guard to look for Physician Kwon. Physician Kwon met Consort Hwang in secret. He told her that he wanted to return to the palace. Consort Hwang also told him that she needed him as well. Physician Kwon worked together with Seo Ham-Seok and Physician Yoo for rebellion. Physician Kwon sneaked into the prison to meet Seo Ham-Seok. He gave him poison in order to stop him from revealing their plan to the government.

Queen Hwaryeon and Queen Dowager were looking for a wife for Crown Prince Seongnam. Queen Dowager chose her people for Crown Prince Seongnam. In fact, Queen Hwaryeon decided to look for other woman who has no connection with Queen Dowager. She personally selected the woman by herself at the garment store. She was amazed by Minister of War’s eldest daughter, Yoon Cheong-Ha. Yoon Cheong-Ha was arguing with a merchant to give a fair amount for the divorced woman who wished to sell her hairpin. Queen Hwaryeon witnessed the whole process and discovered that this woman was great for her son. She invited her for a drink and persuaded her to join the selection of Crown Princess. Yoon Cheong-Ha told her that she already had a man she in loved with. She showed her the portrait of Crown Prince Seongnam. Queen Hwaryeon told her that this man was the crown prince. Yoon Cheong-Ha was totally surprise because she thought he was an inspector. Queen Hwaryeon warned her not to tell anybody that she met the Crown Prince Seongnam before.

Yoon Cheong-Ha was so excited and told her father that she wanted to become the Crown Princess and asked for his permission to allow her to join. At that time, Queen Dowager was there to visit Minister of War and interviewing his 2^nd and 3^rd daughter. Queen Dowager spoke with Yoon Cheong-Ha in private. She made a deal with her that she wanted her to tell her every move of Crown Prince Seongnam. Yoon Cheong-Ha agreed with the deal. Minister of War was hesitated to send off his eldest daughter. He worried that Queen Dowager might use her in the palace.

Before the selection of Crown Princess began, Queen Hwaryeon asked Crown Prince Seongnam whether did he have an ideal woman in his mind. He expressed that he just wanted to perform his duty as a Crown Prince and he did not mind marrying any woman.

Crown Prince Seongnam missed Yoon Cheong-Ha. He kept thinking about her during his inspection. Yoon Cheong-Ha gave him a half piece of shell. She kept another half piece. She told him that if they happened to meet again, they were meant to be together.

Throughout the process, Yoon Cheong-Ha managed to pass all the test. She was glad that she met Queen Hwaryeon who helped her to finish up her lesson as a Crown Princess in such a short period of time. She can’t wait the moment she met Crown Prince Seongnam again during their marriage. Crown Prince Seongnam heard the news about Minister of War’s daughter has been chosen to be his wife. Even though he disliked it, he still stayed clam.

Queen Hwaryeon visited Minister of War and told him that she was fond of his daughter. She will support her and provide shield to her. She hoped that he will do the same for Crown Prince Seongnam as well.

During the wedding ceremony, Crown Prince Seongnam finally saw the face of his wife. He wasn’t expecting that. He thought that she was sent by Queen Dowager to approach him in purpose. At night, he was angry and left the room right away. Yoon Cheong-Ha was totally speechless and did not know what to do. This news was spread throughout the palace. Yoon Cheong-Ha thought that he was shy and don’t know how to make love. She asked Queen Hwaryeon whether Crown Prince Seongnam received proper education on sex intercourse. She also asked her to take the responsibility to teach him.

Cho Wol gave birth to Grand Prince Muan’s child. She came to the palace to see Queen Hwaryeon. She asked her to take the child in rather than living a low life like her. Queen Hwaryeon took her in as a court lady to take care of the baby. In the meantime, she talked to Grand Prince Muan about the baby. He promised that he will take care of baby. However, it was hard for him for the first time. He asked Queen Hwaryeon for help. He also wanted to look for Cho Wol. He was surprised when Cho Wol came in as a court lady. Queen Hwaryeon told them to hide the baby well so that nobody noticed her. She also tried to come out with a plan so that Grand Prince Muan and Cho Wol no longer need to hide their relationship.

Crown Prince Seongnam met Queen Hwaryeon. Queen Hwaryeon asked him why did he left Yoon Cheong-Ha during their marriage. She also told him the reason why she selected Yoon Cheong-Ha. Crown Prince Seongnam finally smiled and cleared his misunderstanding towards his wife. He discovered the piece from the journal of his brother who recorded down his illness. He presented the paper to his mother. Queen Hwaryeon checked the handwriting and also journal of his brother. It indeed was belonged to his brother. Queen Hwaryeon suspected that Physician Kwon was the one who poisoned her son. In order to prove that Physician Kwon was the murderer, she reinstated him as Royal Physician.

Queen Hwaryeon told Physician Kwon to help her to investigate the death of the late Crown Prince. At the same time, Crown Prince Seongnam also found Physician Yoo outside the palace. He showed him the autopsy report of his brother. Physician Yoo admitted that the symptom was similar to the late Crown Prince Taein. Crown Prince Seongnam continued to follow Physician Yoo’s whereabout and discovered that he was in connection with Physician Kwon. He told Queen Hwaryeon that they should not believe what Physician Yoo said totally.

Queen Hwaryeon wanted to find the reason why they killed her son. She approached to the King and asked him for permission to reinvestigate the death of Crown Prince Taein. The King refused because that’s might affect his enthronement. Crown Prince Seongnam checked the record of historian. He was surprised that only the record of Crown Prince Taein was missing. In order to find the first draft of historian, Queen Hwaryeon talked to Park Gyeong-U. Park Gyeong-U’s father was a historian. After Queen Hwaryeon convinced him, Park Gyeong-U decided to look for his father’s item. He was shocked to find out that the King was involved in succession of the throne. Park Gyeong-U presented the evidence to Queen Hwaryeon. However, he wanted her to keep this as a secret.

As the palace spread rumors about Crown Prince Seongnam being infertile, Queen Dowager scolded Yoon Cheong-Ha for not doing her duty. Yoon Cheong-Ha came to see Queen Hwaryeon and told her about this matter. In order to get to know Crown Prince Seongnam better, Queen Hwaryeon referred her to his brothers. Queen Dowager knew about the matter and spread the rumors that Yoon Cheong-Ha can’t stand being loneliness and approached to other Grand Princes. Queen Hwaryeon was angry after hearing those rumors and decided to fix a date for them to consummate. She hired a nursemaid to help Crown Prince Seongnam and Yoon Cheong-Ha. After going through those training, Crown Prince Seongnam and Yoon Cheong-Ha finally slept together.

Queen Dowager also heard that other grand princes also visited Grand Prince Muan’s quarter. She sent her servant to have a look. Queen Hwaryeon prepared in advance. She asked Cho Wol to carry the baby away in order to avoid suspicious.

Queen Hwaryeon asked Physician Kwon to bring the possible poisons that caused the death of late Crown Prince to her. He knew that it was a trap for him. However, he still brought those poisons for her. Queen Hwaryeon knew that he was a smart person. She believed that Physician Kwon somehow in connection with Chief State Councilor. Suddenly, she received a news from her servant about a woman who passed away after drinking gansu. Queen Hwaryeon monitored her symptoms and realized that gansu was used as a poison. She quickly went to visit deposed Queen Yoon. She saw a man who was claimed as deposed Queen Yoon’s son. She saw the way he walked and compared it with Physician Kwon. She was confirmed that Physician Kwon was Crown Prince Taein’s younger brother. She asked deposed Queen Yoon did she know that her son has killed the late Crown Prince. Deposed Queen Yoon claimed that she did not know about it. However, even if she knew, she will not stop him.

Since Physician Kwon was young, he exchanged his identity with Physician Yoo’s child. He learnt medicine from Physician Yoo so that he can entered the palace and treated the royal family. Physician Kwon met up with Prince Uiseong and told him their plan. They convinced him to held a meeting with Chief State Councilor. Prince Uiseong was told that he would enthrone if Chief State Councilor support their rebellion. Initially, Chief State Councilor against the idea. However, Consort Hwang told him that Queen Dowager already knew that Prince Uiseong was not the son of the King. Chief State Councilor was totally shocked and changed his mind to support Physician Kwon and Physician Yoo in order to protect their lives.

Chief State Councilor stated his condition that he will join hand with them provided that they will protect their lives if anything went wrong. When Physician Kwon asked about the autopsy report of Crown Prince Taein, he told them that he did not have it. The report has been kept by Physician Cho. Physician Kwon met with Physician Cho and gave him gansu. He threatened him to give him the autopsy report of Crown Prince Taein. At night, he couldn’t find the report at a secret place. Queen Hwaryeon suddenly showed up.  Physician Kwon knew that his identity has been exposed. She asked him why did he do that to her son. He wanted to take revenge for his brothers. He knew that the late Crown Prince was innocent and he was sorry for her. He then quickly ran away from the palace and hid at Prince Uiseong’s residence. On the other hand, Physician Yoo and his fellow men have been caught by the royal guards.

Before that, Queen Hwaryeon asked Physician Cho about the autopsy report of Crown Prince Taein. However, he did not give it to her. She asked her guard to follow Physician Cho to find out that secret place where he hid the report. The guard then brought the report to her. Queen Hwaryeon went to see the King and told him about Physician Kwon’s true identity. However, the King insisted that he was just Physician Kwon. The King wanted to find him and killed him. Queen Hwaryeon worried that the King might kill Physician Kwon and she needed to find him before the King did. She came to see Queen Dowager and made a deal with her. She asked her to find the whereabout of Physician Kwon, in return she will handover the report to her. Queen Dowager felt that she had been threatened by Queen Hwaryeon.

Yoon Cheong-Ha suddenly collapsed and the doctor examined her. The doctor confirmed that she was pregnant. Even though she has a heart disease, that’s did not affect the mother and fetus. Queen Hwaryeon and Crown Prince Seongnam was glad about the news. Crown Prince Seongnam accompanied his wife. He saw her diary beside her bed. The diary wrote about her wish list and also things about him. He intended to fulfill her wish one by one. When Queen Dowager heard about the pregnancy, she wasn’t happy about it. She bribed the doctor and asked him to lie. The next day, Queen Dowager approached Queen Hwaryeon and demanded the doctor to examine Yoon Cheong-Ha’s body again. The doctor told Queen Hwaryeon that Yoon Cheong-Ha was not pregnant. Grand Prince Seongnam and Yoon Cheong-Ha were a bit disappointed. At night Grand Prince Seongnam told Yoon Cheong-Ha that it does not matter if she was pregnant or not. His only hope is that he wanted her to be healthy. As Queen Dowager made a scene at Queen Hwaryeon’s quarter, Queen Hwaryeon decided to handover the report to her so that she can kept a secret of Yoon Cheong-Ha’s heart disease.

Queen Hwaryeon called Park Gyeong-U and asked him to give her the first draft. Park Gyeong-U apologized that he could not be able as he handed over the draft to the King. Queen Hwaryeon was disappointed as she no longer has any evidence regarding the death of Crown Prince Taein.

Queen Dowager met up with Chief State Councilor. She threatened him with Prince Uiseong’s true identity. She asked him to lure Physician Kwon to the palace. At the same time, she also persuaded Prince Uiseong to kill him as well. Physician Kwon followed Chief State Councilor into the palace. However, he has been tricked by him. He dragged him to a secret place and killed him. He then went straight to Queen Dowager’s quarter. Unfortunately, he has been tricked again. Queen Dowager already knew that he was coming for her. Consort Hwang showed up at Queen Dowager’s quarter. She was shocked and disappointed when Physician Kwon said that he used her to produce his heir. Prince Uiseong suddenly came in and killed Physician Kwon. Before Physician Kwon passed away, he told Prince Uiseong that he was his biological father. Queen Hwaryeon tried to stop Physician Kwon, but she failed. Queen Dowager also destroyed the autopsy report in front of her.

Queen Dowager did not want the King to reveal what was happening on that day. She also wanted to stop Queen Hwaryeon from persuading the King. She then caught Grand Prince Muan who has a child out of wedlock. Grand Prince Muan convinced the King that he will marry Cho Wol because he did not want to leave them. Queen Hwaryeon suggested the King to allow Grand Prince Muan to take Cho Wol as his concubine. The King agreed with it. Queen Dowager then used Crown Princess’s heart disease as another excuse. Queen Hwaryeon asked for the doctor. He told the King that what he gave the Crown Princess was the medicine that was good for her heart. He confirmed that there was no issue for her to give birth in such condition.

As everyone knew that Prince Uiseong was the son of Physician Kwon, the ministries pressured the King to execute Prince Uiseong and Consort Hwang. The King was hesitated as Prince Uiseong was the first child that he held on his arm. Queen Hwaryeon persuaded the King to reveal the truth of the death of Crown Prince Taein as well as the late Crown Prince. She wished to bring back her grandchild and late Crown Princess to the palace. She also persuaded Physician Yoo to stand as witness to reveal what was happening on that day. After a long thought, the King decided to tell the truth. At the same time, he also prohibited Queen Dowager and deposed Queen Yoon from leaving their quarters. He also reinstated those who was falsely accused back to their original status.

Queen Hwaryeon met up with deposed Queen Yoon. She gave her Physician Kwon leftover items. She also told her to stay strong because Physician Kwon’s son was still alive. Deposed Queen Yoon requested her to protect them to stay alive. Queen Hwaryeon also visited Prince Uiseong and Consort Hwang who have been expelled from the palace. Consort Hwang wasn’t in her right mind and Prince Uiseong was taking care of her. Queen Dowager decided to commit suicide in her chamber.

Grand Prince Gyeseong felt that it is time for him to leave the palace and do what he wants. He told Queen Hwaryeon about his wishes and hoped that she can let go of him. Queen Hwaryeon was surprised to hear that. She also expressed that she wanted him to be by her side. In the end, Queen Hwaryeon decided to respect his decision and let him leave the palace. Grand Prince Gyeseong travelled in other places and sent drawings to Queen Hwaryeon about his travel adventures.

Crown Prince Seongnam spent some time to accompany Yoon Cheong-Ha. They also watched the shooting star together. He showed great care and love for her. Crown Prince Seongnam’s nephew and late Crown Princess also came back to palace.
