Gu Won is a son from a chaebol family. His family owns the King Group. He is a smart guy who studied in overseas. His father, Chairman Gu Il-Hun, asked him to work as an intern from bottom. He followed his father’s order to report himself. However, he got fired from the first day of work. He met a guy, No Sang-Sik, whom he met during his internship. He decided to hire him as full-time employees and worked as his assistance.

Gu Hwa-Ran told Gu Won to leave the house and not to get involved in family business. She offered him to continue his study in UK and not to come back. Gu Won has no power, so he has to follow her orders even though it was against his father’s wish.

Cheon Sa-Rang attended an interview in King Hotel. Gu Hwa-Ran was impressed by her smile and intelligence. She promoted her to work at the lobby. Her excellent performance at work gets paid off. She has been promoted to full time employees in a short period of time.

After seven years, Gu Won decided to come back to South Korea. He wanted to work at King Hotel. On the first day of work, he forgot to bring his phone in his room. No Sang-Sik made a call to the lobby and asked them to look for the phone for him. Cheon Sa-Rang was assigned to this case, but she was having a stomach-ache. She found the phone in the room, but she decided to use the toilet first.  She was fascinated with the bathroom wall. Gu Won went to his room to take his paper. He realised that someone in his toilet. He was surprised to see Cheon Sa-Rang in the toilet.

Gu Won wanted Cheon Sa-Rang to apologise to him then and the past incident. Cheon Sa-Rang apologised to him. However, she believed that he was still pervert. In the past 7 years ago, a man with a Tiger T-shirt sent her a message and asked her to come to his room. Gu Won, who wore the same Tiger T-shirt has been mistaken by Cheon Sa-Rang. She angry at him and called him a pervert. He told her that he did not want to see her again.

During the inauguration event, Cheon Sa-Rang was surprised to see Gu Won, who will be the head of manager in King Hotel. She tried hard to avoid him but she could not. Gu Won asked her to meet him at the office. He tried to explain that he was not a pervert and he was not the only one who have Tiger T-shirt. Cheon Sa-Rang realised her mistake and apologised to him.

Cheon Sa-Rang has been invited to attend Gu Won’s  inauguration dinner. Due to her outspoken character, the chairman gave her tuna as gift. She did not know how to cut the tuna. Luckily, her friend helped her out.

One day, Cheon Sa-Rang faced a rude guest who wanted to upgrade her deluxe room into a suit room. However, it was against the rules of the hotel. She tried to explain to the guest but the guest insisted to upgrade the room. Gu Won saw the incident and asked what was happening. He asked the Lobby manager to handle this issue. He also instructed Cheon Sa-Rang to come to his room. He read through the interview questions and asked Cheon Sa-Rang do not ask him those questions. She has no idea that she has been chosen to interview Gu Won. She does not even the interview questions.

Cheon Sa-Rang was really pissed out with her boyfriend. She wanted to break up with him. Her boyfriend brought her to the Namsan Tower. He was not considerate enough that they have to walk all the way up to the tower with her high heel. Just as they arrived at the tower, he received a call from his friend who invited him to the reunion dinner. He invited her to come along with him. Cheon Sa-Rang did not want to because she did not know his friends. Her boyfriend promised her that they will just come to say hi and leave. When they arrived at the restaurant, Cheon Sa-Rang was surprised that his friends were all women. She was jealous and angry when her boyfriend entertained his friends and forget about his promises. She was pissed off and left the restaurant right away.

The next day, Cheon Sa-Rang, No Sang-Sik and Gu Won went to Jeju Island to take promotional video. Gu Won’s father also told him that it was a very important video which might affect the share price and the reputation of the group. During the interview, Gu Hwa-Ran changed the interview questions in last minutes. When Cheon Sa-Rang interviewed Gu Won who asked about his mother, his expression changed. He left the interview immediately. Cheon Sa-Rang and the team have no idea what was going on. However, she handled the situation well. After No Sang-Sik talked to Gu Won, he came back to the interview. He asked her to give him the interview questions. He looked through and threw the questions away. He asked her what she really curious about him. Cheon Sa-Rang has no idea but simply asked him about the sunset.

Later, they moved to another shoot area. The photographer told Gu Won to smile, but he could not. The photographer has no choice but to photoshop the pictures. Suddenly, the boat was malfunction. Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang has no other choice, but to stay at nearby homestay until the next day. Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang get to know each other and he was impressed by her charms.

The next day, the homestay owner requested for ridiculous expensive accommodation fees. Cheon Sa-Rang was furious and insisted that they only pay half the price. The homestay owner was ashamed that they failed to scam the rich.

After coming back from Jeju Island, Chairman Gu Il-Hun scolded Gu Won for his behaviour during the interview. Gu Won asked his father what he felt towards his mother. His father told him that there was no love but it is his duty to protect the company and share price.

Due to Cheon Sa-Rang’s outstanding performance during the interview, Chairman Gu Il-Hun personally approached her and promoted her to work in King the Land, a place where they served the VVIP customers. Cheon Sa-Rang was happy for the promotion.

Gu Won kept thinking about Cheon Sa-Rang. He did a psychology test and found out that he was in love with her. He prepared a present for her. He tried to approach her but then he saw Cheon Sa-Rang and her boyfriend hugged each other outside the office building. Cheon Sa-Rang told her boyfriend not to show up in front of the hotel again. She insisted to break up with him. Gu Won almost gave up her. However, the traffic police encouraged him to express his feeling to her. He decided to gather his courage to express himself.

Chairman Gu Il-Hun was pressured when his friend’s revenue surpassed him. He asked Gu Won and Gu Hwa-Ran to do something about it. Gu Hwa-Ran warned Gu Won not too involved in business and she will handle everything. Gu Won was happy that Cheon Sa-Rang was going to work in the same building as him.

Gu Hwa-Ran visited every department and pressured them to increase the sales of the companies. She also fired those who are in messy and overweight person. No Sang-Sik reported this matter to Gu Won. Gu Won decided to hold a meeting with the staffs. He learnt that they only earn little commission from selling the expensive wine for the rich. However, he agreed to go with the plan in order to encourage them to raise sales for the company. His true intention was to have a look at Cheon Sa-Rang.

 

Gu Won tried to text and call Cheon Sa-Rang, but she refused to reply or pick up the call. The next day, Gu Won asked her about the text and call. She told him that she did not know that he was trying to contact her. Gu Won wanted to invite her for dinner, but she turned down the offer. He asked No Sang-Sik to arrange the dinner with Cheon Sa-Rang for him. It turned out that No Sang-Sik invited the whole team to hold a welcome party for Cheon Sa-Rang at Japanese Restaurant. Cheon Sa-Rang disliked raw fish, and Gu Won noticed about it. He asked No Sang-Sik to prepare steak for her instead. Cheon Sa-Rang was uneasy because her colleagues were not friendly towards her. She told him not to do anything for her which might put her in difficult spot.

Cheon Sa-Rang went to the hometown to visit her grandmother. She told her grandmother that she has broken up with her boyfriend. Her friends celebrated her birthday with her. They were shocked when they learnt about the break up. They companied her and tried to make her happy.

After they left, Cheon Sa-Rang went to the Namsan Tower alone and cried. Gu Won was in bad mood due to his sister’s harsh words. He went to Namsan Tower as well. He saw her stand at his spot crying in the rain. He came near her and told her that that was his spot. She was surprised to see him there as well. He then offered to have a dinner together. He brought a couple shirt and a pair of shoes for her. He brought her to an expensive restaurant to have dinner. After dinner, he also gave her a cake before she headed to her home. Suddenly, her ex-boyfriend showed up and teased her for dumping him. Gu Won stopped him causing her trouble.

At home, Cheon Sa-Rang’s friend questioned her about the clothes and expensive shoes. As they talked, she decided to give him a gift as appreciation for yesterday’s treat. She contacted him and asked him whether he was free after work. Gu Won was excited and wanted to hang out with her. She gave him a gift and intended to leave right away. However, Gu Won asked her to go for dinner together. She brought him to a restaurant. Gu Won was fascinated with the food and performance of the chef. He hopped that they can have a meal together next time. Cheon Sa-Rang refused as she felt uncomfortable to have a meal with him. Gu Won assured her that she will feel comfortable as they continue to meet one another.

Fresh Farmer Week is a yearly event held by the company. All the front office staffs will be assigned to visit the ginseng farmer and tried to get deal from them. Initially, Gu Won was against the idea because he felt that this job should be done by the marketing department. However, in the end he proceeded the event because staffs were worked for money.

Oh Pyeong-Hwa worked as a flight attendant. Due to her low performance, she was not be able to get promoted like her colleague. In fact, as the company was giving them pressures, she has to work hard to sell more products in the plane. Her manager also assured her that if she was able to hit the target, she will help her to get promotion. A junior staff, Lee Ro-Woon has a crush on her. He is for her whenever she faced difficulty.

Gang Da-Eul, who worked as store manager, which sells premium product at the store. She was married and has a daughter. Her career was in progress as she made good sales for the company.

Cheon Sa-Rang was assigned to Mount Jiri to visit the ginseng farmer. Gu Won watched the weather forecast and worried about her safety. He gave her a call ensure that she was safety. She was excited when she found a wild ginseng while she was on her way to look for the ginseng farmer in the mountain. Due to heavy rain, she accidentally slipped down the mountain. Gu Won barked into Gu Hwa-Ran’s meeting and asked her permission to get a helicopter to save Cheon Sa-Rang. However, Gu Hwa-Ran refused to give in due to a mere employee. Gu Won left the office and get one helicopter and flied to Jiri Mount Jiri. He finally found her there. Cheon Sa-Rang was excited to see him as she was scared to be alone in the mountain. However, due to raining, the helicopter left them in the mountain. Gu Won came without a plan. He gave a call to someone to pick them up the next day. As they were waiting for rescue, the ginseng farmer found them.

The next morning, Cheon Sa-Rang showed the farmer the wild ginseng. The ginseng farmer examined the plant and confirmed that it was wild ginseng. He told her that this ginseng was not easy to find. He also praised her for good at picking ginseng. He even offered her to work with him. Gu Won stopped him and told him that she was the hotel precious employees. The farmer insisted Cheon Sa-Rang to take the ginseng home instead of giving to them. He also agreed to send premium ginseng to King Hotel.

No Sang-Sik picked them up at the farmer’s house. Gu Won was jealous when Cheon Sa-Rang wanted to treat No Sang-Sik a meal instead of them. Due to stomach-ache, Gu Won allowed to take a break and left him at the rest station. Gu Won sent Cheon Sa-Rang to her grandmother’s house. Her grandmother noticed Gu Won when he was peeking  at Cheon Sa-Rang. She asked him to help her to peel the onion. Gu Won did not know how to do it. Therefore, grandmother taught him how to peel onion. However, Gu Won was cutting the onion instead of peeling the onion. Cheon Sa-Rang was surprised that Gu Won has not left. Grandmother asked Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang to buy some tofu at the market.

Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang went to the market to play some childhood game. Gu Won left his wallet elsewhere, so he has to borrow money from her. He nagged her to give him money when he has already lost 9 times. For the last game, they finally won the grand prize. After that, they went back to her grandmother’s house. When her grandmother asked about tofu, they totally forgot about it. Gu Won bought some flowers for her instead. Her grandmother treated him with her gukbap. Gu Won never ate before. After having some taste, he loved it. Her grandmother also prepared some gukbap for him to take back.

Gu Won sent Cheon Sa-Rang back to her house. He also looking forward for the next date with her. Cheon Sa-Rang was really happy and kept thinking about him. Gu Won went back home. He saw his father in the living. He asked him to try gukbap. His father loved it very much. He also told him that he should not act recklessly in the meeting and have to follow the instruction and policy of the company.

The next day, the youngest daughter from First Royal Hotel held a birthday party at King Hotel. Gu Won prepared a present for her. Cheon Sa-Rang was jealous when she saw her hugged Gu Won. Gu Won sensed that something off with Cheon Sa-Rang. He kept looking at her. Cheon Sa-Rang’s manager,  Jeon Min-Seo asked her to go home after doing OT.

Cheon Sa-Rang complained to her friends, Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul, about a man who asked her out for date but having another woman behind her back. Her friends accompanied her and consoled her heart broken feeling. They sang and dance and ordered some food. When the doorbell rang, Cheon Sa-Rang opened the door as she thought it was food delivery. She was surprised to see Gu Won showed up in front of the door.

Gu Won brought some medicine for Cheon Sa-Rang. He thought that she was feeling unwell. He barged into her house and her friends was shocked. When he tried to introduce himself, she stopped him. Her friends revealed that she badmouthed about her head of manager, Gu Won. Gu Won did not admit it but pretended that he was just her colleague. However, he requested to have private talk with Cheon Sa-Rang. He told she that he did not have any girlfriend and he wished her to be his girlfriend. She was shocked and happy at the same time.

Gu Hwa-Ran called for Cheon Sa-Rang. She asked her to follow the scripts during the press conference. Cheon Sa-Rang noticed that it was not true that Gu Hwa-Ran was the one who saved her. She explained that she was the one who authorised to send the helicopter to save her life. Cheon Sa-Rang has no choice but to follow her instruction.

Gu Won waited to for Cheon Sa-Rang after he finished his work. However, he was told that she was sent to attend a press conference with Gu Hwa-Ran. He went to the press conference. Cheon Sa-Rang saw him and read the script prepared. She also added one more sentence. She thanked Gu Won for coming to save her that day.

As the hotel was trying to persuade the 13^th richest man to their hotel, Gu Hwa-Ran tried hard but she was unable to bring him to the hotel. She brought up the issue in the meeting and asked Gu Won to handle it. Gu Won agreed to take up the assignment. Gu Hwa-Ran was shocked when Gu Won managed to persuade the richest man to their hotel.

Gu Won gave the richest man a call and asked him to come to his hotel. The richest man will come to his hotel with conditions. He wanted him to smile at him all the times and also said yes to all his requests. Gu Won agreed with it. The richest man asked Gu Won to pick him up and also take his luggage. He was amazed by Cheon Sa-Rang’s smile. He invited her to have a meal. Cheon Sa-Rang felt uneasy because her colleagues were working whereas she was enjoying the meal with the richest man. Gu Won followed the richest man everywhere and kept his eye on him so that he did not take advantage from Cheon Sa-Rang.

When the richest man requested to experience the traditional wedding ceremony, Cheon Sa-Rang initially refused, but since he wanted to experience, she agreed with it. She dressed up and traditional wedding dress and followed the ceremony. She was shocked when Gu Won was the one who dressed as the groom. Suddenly, the richest man came out and yelled at Gu Won for tricking him.

The richest man tried to win Cheon Sa-Rang’s heart. He held a party at the King Hotel. He also gave both Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang a present. He wanted them to wear the outfit during the party. Cheon Sa-Rang wore like a princess whereas Gu Won acted as a waiter, serving them the food. When the richest man proposed to her, Gu Won tried to stop it. She indirectly turned him down and hoped that all of them can eat together as a friend. The richest man agreed and allowed Gu Won to eat together. Before the richest man left, he hugged Gu Won and hoped to visit them again in future. It showed that Gu Won and the richest man were good friends and yet Gu Won refused to admit it.

Gu Won wanted to express his love to Cheon Sa-Rang. He wanted to meet her. However, Cheon Sa-Rang  was busy helping Oh Pyeong-Hwa to raise sales so that she can get promoted. Gu Won arrived there and helped Oh Pyeong-Hwa to promote her product. In the end of the day, Gu Won asked her is that necessary to do this in order to get promoted. He also claimed that this was illegal. Cheon Sa-Rang was shocked as she thought it was legal to do so.

Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul told Gu Won more about Cheon Sa-Rang. They encouraged him to expressed his feeling to her. The next day, Gu Won invited Cheon Sa-Rang to a restaurant. He personally cooked for her. Unfortunately, he accidentally triggered the sprinkler pipe during cooking. At that time, he confessed his love for her and she accepted it.

At work, Gu Won sat that the lounge kept his eyes on Cheon Sa-Rang. Cheon Sa-Rang’s colleagues wondered as if Gu Won was monitoring them. Cheon Sa-Rang came to him and ask him to leave. Gu Won was unhappy as he wanted to look at her. She yelled at him and insisted him to leave at once. Gu Won left immediately.

During the meeting between the high ranked officer, Gu Won was assigned to handle the 100^th anniversary event. His father also asked him to invite the richest man to come as well. Gu Won agreed to handle this. He also showed his intention to his sister in order to gain his power within the company. When Cheon Sa-Rang tried to hug him from the back, Gu Won was startled. Cheon Sa-Rang thought he disliked it, so she left.

Gu Won bought some flowers and went to visit Cheon Sa-Rang’s grandmother. He quickly grabbed her when she was about to fall from the changing the bulb. He sent her to the hospital for treatment. He asked her to run a few tests and stopped worried about her restaurant. Grandmother considered him as the first candidate for Cheon Sa-Rang’s boyfriend. Later, Cheon Sa-Rang arrived at the hospital after being informed by Gu Won.

Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang went back to the restaurant to change the bulb. Since it was late, Cheon Sa-Rang allowed him to stay for a night at her grandmother’s house. They shared the same room together. Gu Won watched her sleeping. He was shocked when grandmother came back home the next morning. She scolded Gu Won for sleeping with Cheon Sa-Rang. She brought Gu Won out to the market whereas Cheon Sa-Rang prepared the dishes before the restaurant open.

Grandmother introduced Gu Won to her friends. She was shocked when Gu Won said he did not rush to buy a house yet. After hearing that, grandmother went to the bank and apply for the loan. She wished he could buy a house and take care of Cheon Sa-Rang. He was blessed that grandmother approved their relationship. Grandmother also cooked a lot of food for Gu Won. He enjoyed them very much.

Gu Won heard from Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul that they have been mistreated by the company. Oh Pyeong-Hwa                and Gang Da-Eul tried their best to achieve the company target. However, their boss refused to give them a proper compensation. He also learnt that Cheon Sa-Rang who was awarded as the best talent for 2 consecutive years only get the smile badge. After hearing these, Gu Won decided to give them an incentive travel. Three of them were happy after receiving the incentive. Gu Won was excited too. He took this opportunity to spend some time with Cheon Sa-Rang. Gu Won was surprised when No Sang-Sik also joined the trip. In order to stop him from revealing his identity, Gu Won introduced No Sang-Sik as department manager. They went to Thailand to enjoy the trip.

Gu Won offered No Sang-Sik to exchange his plane seat because he wanted to stay by Cheon Sa-Rang’s side. He was happy as he was sitting at the business class. When they arrived at the hotel, Gu Won was unhappy because No Sang-Sik only booked 2 rooms. No Sang-Sik claimed that he will sleep with Gu Won for next few days. Gu Won demanded him to change to a bigger hotel. Cheon Sa-Rang, Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul were happy with the hotel. Gu Won changed his mind and decided to remain staying there.

No Sang-Sik brought them to experience the culture and food of Thailand. Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul enjoyed the trip very much. They were shocked when Cheon Sa-Rang tried to feed Gu Won with food. They simply explained that they were sharing good food with one another. Cheon Sa-Rang and Gu Won secretly hold their hands without being noticed by them.

Gu Won was pissed off when No Sang-Sik planned the whole trip without letting them to have free and easy trip. He tried to escape from them a couple of times. On the third day, he and Cheon Sa-Rang decided to have their own free and easy trip. Both of them finally able to spend their holidays together. He brought her to visit a beautiful temple and also had a fine dining together.

On the last day of the trip, Gu Won upgraded their seat to business class. All of them was extremely happy about it. Cheon Sa-Rang bought some souvenirs for her colleagues. Gu Won also bought some souvenirs for Cheon Sa-Rang’s grandmother. However, he did not buy for his father. Grandmother told him to give his father one.

Gu Hwa-Ran prepared a list of guests who will attend their 100^th anniversary. However, Gu Won refused to follow and decided to go his own way. His father talked to Gu Hwa-Ran that he wanted to give Gu Won a chance to prove his ability just like how he did for her. On the other hand, his father told Gu Won to ask for help if he needed.

Gu Won interviewed and visited a few senior colleagues who worked at the hotel. He invited them to give a speech during the 100^th anniversary. He made this event impactful and the flow of the event was a success. However, Gu Hwa-Ran was angry because Gu Won changed the itinerary. She also felt sorry for the politicians whom she invited to the event. The politician left the event at once as they felt embarrassed.

Chairman Gu Il-Hun told Gu Won that he had a dream. His dream was to make the employees and guests to be happy when they were at the hotel. He flipped through the old proposal which was proposed by Han Mi-So. Cheon Sa-Rang praised Gu Won for doing a good job. Gu Hwa-Ran told her father the consequences getting on the politicians’ bad side. She also told Gu Won that making the employees happy do not benefit the company.

During the meeting, Chairman Gu Il-Hun praised Gu Won for making the event memorable. Gu Hwa-Ran claimed that they should cut cost in order to overcome the inflation. However, Gu Won disagreed with it. After hearing from both of them, Chairman Gu Il-Hun decided to ask them to prepare a report on how their strategy can bring benefit to the company in future.

Cheon Sa-Rang invited Gu Won to come to her house since Oh Pyeong-Hwa was not at home at day. She cooked delicious meal for him. No Sang-Sik gave him a call, but he refused to pick up. No Sang-Sik, Oh Pyeong-Hwa             , Gang Da-Eul and Lee Ro-Woon planned to go to Cheon Sa-Rang’s house to held a party. As they discussed, they believed that both Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang were not dating. By the time they entered the house, they were shocked when they saw both of them kissing at the living room.

Gu Won revealed his true identity and everyone was surprised with it. They felt uncomfortable to face him since he was their big boss. On the other hand, they also wished the best of them as a couple. Gu Won hoped that they treat him as a friend rather than a boss.

Oh Pyeong-Hwa confronted with her superior and asked her to apologise to her. Her superior expressed that Oh Pyeong-Hwa hid her marital status from the company. She knew that she had divorce before. She kept this as a secret since they were friends. When she was young, due to her immaturity, she signed the register of marriage with her ex-boyfriend. She thought it was a joke, but it turned to be true. Cheon Sa-Rang, Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul when to the marriage department to cancel the registration. However, it was too late. Oh Pyeong-Hwa has no choice but to file a divorce.

Chairman Gu Il-Hun hoped that his son could marry with the daughter of First Royal Hotel. Gu Won expressed that he already has someone in his mind. He did not wish to marry with the daughter of First Royal Hotel. However, Chairman Gu Il-Hun did not take this seriously.

Gu Won met an old employee who was his mother’s best friend. He wanted to know the reason why his mother left him. However, he has no intention to look for her. He has a mixed emotion over this matter. Cheon Sa-Rang accompanied him and comforted him.

Gu Hwa-Ran promised No Sang-Sik a position as head manager if he decided to betray Gu Won. She wanted him to report every move of Gu Won. However, No Sang-Sik turned down the offer. When the news about Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang spread the in the social media, No Sang-Sik believed that it was done by Gu Hwa-Ran. He reported the case to Gu Won.

As everyone in the hotel knew that Cheon Sa-Rang was Gu Won’s girlfriend, they badmouthing her. Gu Won personally confessed that he was the one who hit on her. As the news kept circulating in the social media and also mentioned about Chairman Gu Il-Hun’s second wife, Chairman Gu Il-Hun knew that Gu Hwa-Ran was behind this. He cancelled all her position in the Group because she no longer fit to be the leader of the Group.

Chairman Gu Il-Hun also met up with Cheon Sa-Rang. He reappointed her to work at King Tourist Hotel during Gu Won business trip. He wanted them to break up. Before Gu Won left to oversea, he spent a night to accompany Cheon Sa-Rang. He brought her to the fairyland to play the games together. The next day, Gu Won flew to oversea whereas Cheon Sa-Rang reported herself at King Tourist Hotel.

Cheon Sa-Rang was surprised to see her senior there. Her senior has been assigned to this hotel due to Gu Hwa-Ran disliked her. She told Cheon Sa-Rang that she already about her relationship with Gu Won but all the colleagues here will treat one another as a family, so she did not have to worry about this. Cheon Sa-Rang was glad to meet her senior there. Due to short of staff, none of them was able to take leave. Besides, this hotel was not doing great due to low customers. Cheon Sa-Rang tried to talk to the head manager about this, but he insisted to sell the hotel.

After coming back from oversea, Gu Won realised that Cheon Sa-Rang was not there. He asked her colleague about her whereabout. It turned out that she has been transferred to another hotel. Han Mi-So showed in the hotel. Chairman Gu Il-Hun was surprised to see her. She expressed that she wanted Gu Won to live the life that he wanted. Chairman Gu Il-Hun also promised that he will do so.

Han Mi-So ran across Gu Won. She called his name. Gu Won invited her to his office for a seat. Gu Won told her that he did not resent her. He understood her circumstances at that time and hoped that she can live the best of her life. They hugged one another for the first time after so many years.

Later, Gu Won went to the King Tourist Hotel to find Cheon Sa-Rang. She told him that she like this place very well. She walked about the neighbourhood and looked for delicious food around the area. She found this place relax and enjoyable. She invited Gu Won to join her to walk around the place. After serious considering, Gu Won told the head manager that he was going to buy this hotel. He wanted to make this hotel became a tourist attraction. His vision gave all the staffs motivation and everyone was looking forward for the better future of the hotel.

Oh Pyeong-Hwa hit her colleague who wanted to seduce her. She has been warning him a couple of time. She was pissed off when everyone in her team knew that she has been divorced and made fun of her. Lee Ro-Woon was there to protect her. Oh Pyeong-Hwa finally accepted Lee Ro-Woon as her boyfriend.

Gu Won asked  Cheon Sa-Rang to come back to the King the Land. She agreed with it after completing her last tasks. Gu Won arranged everything to propose to her. On that day, Cheon Sa-Rang told him that she wanted to quit her job. Gu Won was shocked and asked her why. She told him her wish to open up a hotel by her own. He supported her and encouraged her to chase after her dream. He called his man to cancel his proposal event.

Cheon Sa-Rang met up with Chairman Gu Il-Hun. She told him that she wanted to quit her job. She felt uncomfortable to work at the hotel now. She wanted to be with Gu Won. She did not want Chairman Gu Il-Hun to give her orders anymore. Chairman Gu Il-Hun was not shocked. He apologised to her for his immature act. They were having a great conversation during the meal.

Cheon Sa-Rang started to look for property. She finally found a property that suited her requirement. Her grandmother also kept some money for her and also sold the old ginseng.  She was surprised that the amount of extremely a lot. She was touched and glad for what her grandmother had done for her. Oh Pyeong-Hwa and Gang Da-Eul congratulated her for becoming a boss of the hotel.

Gu Won has been promoted to President of King Hotel. He promoted No Sang-Sik to become the department manager. Recently, he was busy to expand the hotel chain in the globe. On the other hand, Cheon Sa-Rang was busy doing renovation for her hotel. After everything was done, she started to accept reservation from online.

Gu Won came over after finished his job. He stopped by her hotel every day. Cheon Sa-Rang worried that he might not get enough rest for travelling. She insisted to stop him from coming to her hotel. she also expressed that due to high reservation rate, she decided to hire a part timer. After undergo a couple of interviews, she could not find the best fit candidate. Gu Won applied to work as a part timer as well. She decided to hire him as part timer during weekend. Suddenly, Gu Won proposed to her. She gladly accepted him.

Gu Won and Cheon Sa-Rang celebrated grandmother’s birthday. Gu Won told her that they were going to marry. Her grandmother was happy and tear up that her granddaughter finally going to get marry soon.

Although Gu Hwa-Ran cannot accept the fact that Gu Won and she as a family, she was glad that her only son was there to accompany her. Initially, her son was going back to US to do as she wished. Gu Hwa-Ran changed her mind at the airport and decided to let her son to stay in South Korea.

Moon Joo-Ran is a housewife who has a lovely husband, Park Jae-Ho and a son, Park Seung-Jae. They moved to a new neighbourhood and lived in a big house. She took medicine as prescribed by her husband. She suffered trauma after witnessing her dead sister in the house. Her peaceful life was disrupted when there was a strange smell in her backyard. She asked her husband and son whether they smell the strange smell. They denied it. Park Jae-Ho told her that it was natural fertiliser.

Park Jae-Ho attended Parent-Teacher meeting in the school. The teacher complained to him that Park Seung-Jae’s result was not good and he was not paying attention during the class. When she asked to meet Park Seung-Jae’s mother, Park Seung-Jae requested the teacher to meet his father instead. Park Jae-Ho told the teacher that his wife was having a hard time due to her health condition.

One day, a new neighbour, Oh Hae-soo, moved in the next door to Moon Joo-Ran’s house. She saw Moon Joo-Ran by the curtain. She said hi to her, but Moon Joo-Ran ran into the house. At night, Oh Hae-soo tried to introduce herself by showing up in front of Moon Joo-Ran’s house. However, Park Jae-Ho told her that it was late and offered to introduce themselves the next day. Suddenly, Oh Hae-soo complained about weird smell from her backyard, which caught the attention of Moon Joo-Ran. Park Jae-Ho received a call from Kim Yoon-Beom who invited him to go for night fishing.

Chu Sang-Eun, lived in a complex apartment. She is 5-month pregnant and she also suffered domestic violence from her husband, Kim Yoon-Beom. Her neighbour asked her to report the case to the police. However, she did not want to. She secretly collected evidence when she experienced domestic violence in the house. She wanted to divorce with her husband. Kim Yoon-Beom gave his wife a scarf to win a favour. He also asked her to eat well since she was pregnant. He gave her some cash to purchase strawberries. At the same time, Kim Yoon-Beom called Park Jae-Ho and invited him for night fishing. Chu Sang-Eun heard their conversation. She went out to buy some strawberries. However, she ended up buying strawberry ice-cream instead.

Chu Sang-Eun spotted a few kids smoking and asked to give her one cigarette, but the kids brushed her off since she was pregnant. When she went back home, her husband assaulted her and beats her up in the bedroom. After the fight, she took the photos of her bruise and wound on her body. She sent the images to her colleagues and asked if they can be used as evidence to report her husband.

The next day, Chu Sang-Eun talked to her colleagues about domestic abuse. She worked as a receptionist in a restaurant. She used a waist belt to hid her bump, in order to avoid losing her job. She took afternoon off, so that she can visit her mother. Her husband picked her up at the restaurant, she turned on the voice recording to gather more evidence against him. He got furious when she acted clumsy. She accidently found a handphone which belonged to a woman. Kim Yoon-Beom took the phone away and hide it in the glovebox. Kim Yoon-Beom was on the way to Moon Joo-Ran’s house. He told his wife that they were going to stay in bigger house soon.

Moon Joo-Ran woke up at night and kept recalling her sister’s death. She continued her daily routine with cleaning the house, cooking for the family. She went to Oh Hae-soo’s house and tried to introduce herself. Oh Hae-soo told her about the rotting smell from her backyard. Moon Joo-Ran went back home and dig the soil to see what it was. She was shocked when she saw fingers in the soil. Moon Joo-Ran was horrified to see it.

Suddenly, her doorbell rang. Kim Yoon-Beom showed up in front of the door. He dropped off a suitcase for her husband. As Chu Sang-Eun waited in the car, she saw Moon Joo-Ran wore the same scarf as her. Chu Sang-Eun went through the woman’s phone from the glovebox. However, it dropped between the seats.

Moon Joo-Ran told Kim Yoon-Beom that Park Jae-Ho was not at home. Kim Yoon-Beom looked around and pointed out the weird smell. She stopped him from looking around house. She tried to call her husband but unable to reach him. Suddenly, she realised that Kim Yoon-Beom went missing. She was afraid that he might went to the backyard. She was surprised when Kim Yoon-Beom took photos of her house. She asked him to leave. He asked her to relay a message for her husband about night fishing.

After Kim Yoon-Beom left the house, he told Chu Sang-Eun that they will going to live in a house with big yard. Kim Yoon-Beom dropped her at the supermarket to something for her mother. He texted Park Jae-Ho to demand more money from him. After she was back from the supermarket, he teased Chu Sang-Eun for spending so much money for her mother.

Park Jae-Ho finally picked up the phone and learnt that Kim Yoon-Beom left a suitcase for him. Moon Joo-Ran also told him about the discovery of corps in their backyard. Park Jae-Ho checked the backyard and assured that it was not a corpse. He asked her to continue to take her medicine. Moon Joo-Ran feel uneasy and tried to dig the body by herself. He stopped her. He told her that whatever she saw, smell and feel were hallucinations since Moon Joo-Ran’s sister death anniversary was coming. He assured her that everything will be okay.

At night, Park Seung-Jae surfed the internet to look for a place where he can be emancipated. When his father entered the room, he switched the screen to a tutoring video. Park Jae-Ho brought a cup of milk for his son. He then told his wife that he was going night fishing with Kim Yoon-Beom. He told her that the soil was probably went bad which led to the odd smell. Moon Joo-Ran believed that it was a dead body since she experienced the same thing when she discovered her sister’s body. Park Jae-Ho told her to stop thinking the traumatic moment. He prepared a tea to calm her nerves. In the midnight, Moon Joo-Ran had a nightmare. She woke up and found her husband was not in the bed. She texted her husband to be careful since it was raining.

At night, Chu Sang-Eun came back to her mother’s house alone. She took a shower and washed all her clothes before she went for bed. The next morning, her mother asked her to leave the house. Chu Sang-Eun’s aunt explained that her mother’s mental health condition has been worsen. She helped Chu Sang-Eun to pack. Before she left, Chu Sang-Eun received a call from the police that her husband was dead.

The next morning, Park Jae-Ho told his wife that he did not go for night fishing since it was raining heavily. He prepared breakfast for the family. Moon Joo-Ran told him that Park Seung-Jae was lactose intolerant. When Park Seung-Jae asked if he really need to attend the mass for Moon Joo-Ran’s sister’s death anniversary, Park Jae-Ho told him that he should attend. Moon Joo-Ran noticed that Park Jae-Ho’s shoes and car tires were covered with mud. She was confused. Moon Joo-Ran and her family went to the church for the mass. Their neighbour, Oh Hae-soo was there too. Park Jae-Ho told Moon Joo-Ran to be careful of her.

Chu Sang-Eun went to the morgue to identify her husband’s body and confirm if he was really dead. The police interrogate her about Kim Yoon-Beom’s death. She told the police about the night fishing with Park Jae-Ho. The police told her that her husband has been fired from the company a month ago. After she left the police station, she was confused. She sent her aunt off and went to the restaurant to noodle. Her brother-in-law called her and she informed him about Kim Yoon-Beom’s death. In front of the apartment, there were boxes of pharmaceutical goods. However, she ignored them. While clearing her husband’s stuffs, she accidentally found a diary.

The diary mentioned that the spare phone was belonged to Lee Soo-min. He tried to find out the connection between Lee Soo-min and Park Jae-Ho. She also discovered that her husband has demanded 500 million won from Park Jae-Ho in exchange for the information.

As the Park’s family arrived their home, the police showed up and brought Park Jae-Ho to police station for investigation on Kim Yoon-Beom’s death. Park Jae-Ho denied that he was going out with Kim Yoon-Beom that day, but Moon Joo-Ran knew that he was lying. After they left, Moon Joo-Ran collapsed. Park Seung-Jae asked Oh Hae-soo for help and took his mother to the living room. Moon Joo-Ran woke up and saw Oh Hae-soo in the house. She asked her to leave as she was not feeling well. Oh Hae-soo invites Moon Joo-Ran to hang out sometimes and left the house.

The landlord came to see Chu Sang-Eun. She told her that she has not pay the rental for 2 months. Chu Sang-Eun was confused and later learnt that her husband took the lease money back and changed their agreement to monthly rental basis.

Moon Joo-Ran was unable to sleep well. She was upset that her husband was lying. She checked home CCTV footage. Unfortunately, it has deleted everything. She was overwhelmed and went to Park Seung-Jae’s room. She stopped him from the drinking milk that given by Park Jae-Ho.

Park Jae-Ho came back from work. Moon Joo-Ran asked him about Kim Yoon-Beom and expressed that she wanted to attend his funeral. He was shocked that his wife offered to attend funeral. At the funeral home, Chu Sang-Eun turned on the woman’s phone and tried to look what was in it. She found photos and videos of blackmail evidence that used by Kim Yoon-Beom to threaten his victims. She looked up Park Jae-Ho’s contact and sent a photo to him. Moon Joo-Ran read Park Jae-Ho’s message. The text contained a selfie photo and message: You know who I am right?

Kim Yoon-Beom’s brother came to the funeral home to visit Chu Sang-Eun. He told her that Kim Yoon-Beom has a debt of 200 million won from investing a business for their father. He told her that Kim Yoon-Beom took out a bank loan to invest the business. She wondered how could she repay the loan after his death.  Kim Yoon-Beom’s brother gave some money in compensation for their absence from the funeral. She claimed that Kim Yoon-Beom worked hard to support his family and mocked him for taking advantage of her husband. Kim Yoon-Beom’s brother left and she broken down into tears after Kim Yoon-Beom’s death.

In the washroom, Chu Sang-Eun met Moon Joo-Ran and said hi to her. Moon Joo-Ran spotted the phone and she was suspicious. Moon Joo-Ran left the washroom and joined her husband to pay their respect to Kim Yoon-Beom. Chu Sang-Eun requested a private chat with Park Jae-Ho. She showed him the phone and asked him whom the phone belonged to. Park Jae-Ho told her to stop bothering him for something trivial. He asked her to take care of herself and her child.

Moon Joo-Ran recalled the same phone on the Park Jae-Ho’s message. Park Jae-Ho’s colleagues asked her whether her husband has been getting better. They told her that Park Jae-Ho has been taking sleeping pills because he has trouble sleeping. Moon Joo-Ran was confused. Suddenly, at the corner, she realised that Chu Sang-Eun’s mother kept looking that her which made her felt uncomfortable and tried to leave.

Moon Joo-Ran saw Chu Sang-Eun and Park Jae-Ho talked outside the building. Suddenly, Chu Sang-Eun’s mother showed up and grabbed her hand. She asked her to marry her son. Moon Joo-Ran pushed her away but Chu Sang-Eun came in. She told  Moon Joo-Ran that Park Jae-Ho killed her husband. Park Jae-Ho stepped in and took his wife away.

Chu Sang-Eun received a call from the police to ask about Kim Yoon-Beom. She was totally broken down and lost her calm in the funeral home. Moon Joo-Ran went home and recalled what Chu Sang-Eun told her. She went to the garage to check the dash camera from Park Jae-Ho’s car. However, those records have been deleted. Park Jae-Ho realised that his wife was in the garage checking his car’s CCTV. Moon Joo-Ran pretended that she was looking for her earrings. Park Jae-Ho offered to look for them the next morning.

Moon Joo-Ran asked Oh Hae-soo for help to see the CCTV from her house. However, Oh Hae-soo wanted to know the reason before she provided her. Moon Joo-Ran refused to explain further and left. Then, she looked up for Kim Yoon-Beom’s home address.  At night, Oh Hae-soo looked up the CCTV footage and discovered Park Jae-Ho was heading outside at 12.50am in this car.

The police interrogated Park Jae-Ho about Kim Yoon-Beom who received 100 million won from Park Jae-Ho. He simply told the police that he paid those money to Kim Yoon-Beom just to cover up something related to their job. He told the police that he has an alibi to prove that he was not involved in Kim Yoon-Beom’s death.

Park Jae-Ho noticed that Moon Joo-Ran’s earrings were in place and none of them went missing. he simply picked one earring. He told her to stay away from Oh Hae-soo that Oh Hae-soo lived in the spot where a man was murdered by his wife. When she asked him about the night when Kim Yoon-Beom was killed, he claimed that he went outside for a while and came back due to heavily rain. He took her to the basement and told her that he found it in his car. Moon Joo-Ran pointed out that her earrings was never missing. She knew that Park Jae-Ho was lying and kept asking questions about Kim Yoon-Beom’s death. The two of them argued. When he mentioned about Park Seung-Jae was in trouble as he was unable to forget the incident. He yelled at Moon Joo-Ran as he was tired of everything that was going on in their lives. He left for some fresh air. She waited for him to return and threw away all the medicine she has been taking.

In the past, Moon Joo-Ran discovered her sister’s dead body. She recalled seeing a man who lived in their neighbourhood. Years after the incident, she was shocked to see the same person appeared in front of her. He claimed that he was Park Seung-Jae’s teacher. She afraid that the same incident might happened to her son. She told her husband about the man might hurt their son. At night, she rushed to an event to look for Park Seung-Jae. She hit Park Seung-Jae’s teacher whom she believed that he took her son away. She was surprised that the boy was not Park Seung-Jae. Park Seung-Jae was shocked to see his mother doing that to his teacher.

Oh Hae-soo was at the grocery and some people mocked her and called her a murder. Park Seung-Jae helped her and told her that he was doing that because she helped his mother. She gave him a ride to send him back home. Park Seung-Jae asked her why she returned to the house. She claimed that she was back to her childhood home.

Moon Joo-Ran went to Oh Hae-soo’s house and requested for the CCTV footage. She asked her to keep their conversation as secret and left to her own house. It recorded the time when Park Jae-Ho left and came back to home.

Chu Sang-Eun and the family left the funeral home and went out for lunch. She found out that Kim Yoon-Beom has 5 insurance policies under his name and she was unaware of it. She ate in rush and left to the insurance company. As she talked to the agent, she could get up to 520 million won as long as Kim Yoon-Beom’s death was not suicide. She was certain that he was murder.

It turned out that Chu Sang-Eun was the one who killed her husband in the car. She drove the car away to her mother’s house. She went back to the apartment and found Moon Joo-Ran was waiting at the doorstep. She wanted to know why Park Jae-Ho was responsible for Kim Yoon-Beom’s death. Chu Sang-Eun showed her the video of Kim Yoon-Beom threatening people from the spare phone.

Moon Joo-Ran went through the photos and video from the spare phone. However, she could not find anything related to her husband. Chu Sang-Eun asked her to talk to her husband and asked if he ever killed someone. Moon Joo-Ran was shocked when Park Jae-Ho called the spare phone and asked to meet up with Chu Sang-Eun. Chu Sang-Eun put the phone on speaker and agreed to discuss the matter. She told Moon Joo-Ran        that she was going to meet Lee Soo-min. Moon Joo-Ran offered to go with her and promised to pay as much as she needed in order to find out the truth.  As Moon Joo-Ran left, Chu Sang-Eun asked her whether she still trusted her husband. She expressed that she will protect her family at all cost.

Park Seung-Jae went to check out the apartment that he was planning to stay. He also received 50 million won that has been transferred to his saving account.

Chu Sang-Eun learnt that she has been fired from her job. Her ex-colleague told her that the insurance company sent someone for inquiry since there was a few policies under Kim Yoon-Beom’s name. Her ex-colleague told her not to worry about it since she spoke all the good words for her. Chu Sang-Eun sent a text message to Park Jae-Ho to meet up in the evening.

Moon Joo-Ran apologised to her husband for her behaviour and Park Jae-Ho accepted her apologise and also say sorry to her for his bad temper as well. The next morning, Moon Joo-Ran borrowed Oh Hae-soo’s car. She went to  Chu Sang-Eun’s apartment to pick her up. Both of them headed to Lee Soo-min’s house.

Chu Sang-Eun pretended to Lee Soo-min’s teacher, came to her house to pay a visit. She learnt from her father that Lee Soo-min has been away from home three months ago. He complained Lee Soo-min for running away and failed to reach her. However, he started to doubt her when he recalled Lee Soo-min was a man. Chu Sang-Eun got panicked from PTS which reminded her being assaulted by her husband. She broke the glass bottle and started screaming. Moon Joo-Ran worried about her and tried to enter the house and took her away.

The police interrogate the guard of Chu Sang-Eun’s apartment. The guard told them that she was better off now since her husband dead. Moon Joo-Ran and Chu Sang-Eun sat in silence after the incident. Moon Joo-Ran received a text message from her husband saying that he will be late home.

In the evening, Chu Sang-Eun met Park Jae-Ho in the café to negotiate the blackmail amount. Moon Joo-Ran listened to their conversation from her car via Chu Sang-Eun’s phone. Park Jae-Ho told her that the amount he dealt with Kim Yoon-Beom was 200 million won. However, Chu Sang-Eun showed him the photocopy notes from his diary which stated 500 million won. She also showed him the photos of him threatening Lee Soo-min.

Park Jae-Ho then asked Chu Sang-Eun how she moved Kim Yoon-Beom’s body. Chu Sang-Eun startled. He then left the café without agreeing with that negotiation. Moon Joo-Ran sent Chu Sang-Eun home. She offered to pay her 300 million won instead of her husband in order to protect her family. Suddenly, Lee Soo-min’s phone rang. A man demanded to meet her at a motel. She told her that she was going to look into it.

Chu Sang-Eun told her aunt that she has been kicked out of the apartment. She asked her what could she buy with 300 million won. However, her aunt told her that it was not enough to buy an apartment. At night, Moon Joo-Ran wondered about the conversation between Chu Sang-Eun and Park Jae-Ho. Park Jae-Ho was drunk at the nightclub. He reminded that he found Lee Soo-min’s body in the house and he kept her inside the cupboard.

The next morning, Moon Joo-Ran and Chu Sang-Eun went to the motel to look for more information regarding Lee Soo-min. Joo Tae-gyung told them that Lee Soo-min was the most popular prostitute under his care. He mentioned that Park Jae-Ho was one of their VIP clients. He revealed that the photo of Park Jae-Ho and Lee Soo-min was made up and he wanted to use this photo to threaten him. He also said that Lee Soo-min was shocked after hearing what Park Jae-Ho said to her. When Chu Sang-Eun asked when was the last day he met her. He told them that this was the last day he met her.

Lee Soo-min’s body was found by a hiker in the forest. Moon Joo-Ran told Chu Sang-Eun that Park Jae-Ho has no reason to kill her husband, Kim Yoon-Beom. And she believed that Chu Sang-Eun was trying to accuse Park Jae-Ho for murdering him. Moon Joo-Ran and Chu Sang-Eun had a fight in the street. Chu Sang-Eun scolded her that she did not trust herself which is why she was doubting everyone surrounding her. Moon Joo-Ran slapped her and left. Chu Sang-Eun on her way to her house but she upset on the street.

During that night, Chu Sang-Eun gave Kim Yoon-Beom a drink. Later, she drove the car by sitting on her husband’s body. She pushed the car with Kim Yoon-Beom’s body into the lake. Then, only walked to her mother’s house.

Chu Sang-Eun woke up in the hospital. The doctor checked her condition and told her that her baby was in healthy condition. She waited at the hospital but she has no money to pay the bill. She later learnt that Moon Joo-Ran had already paid the bill for her.

Moon Joo-Ran called her husband and chat with him. Park Jae-Ho told her that he will he late and asked her to have dinner with Park Seung-Jae. Park Jae-Ho was at his father’s house. The bag that left behind by Kim Yoon-Beom was at his father’s house too.

The detective came to see Chu Sang-Eun to interrogate her about her husband’s death. The detective told her that they found sleeping pills in his body and concluded that his death as suicide. However, Chu Sang-Eun insisted that he was died by murder.

At night, Park Seung-Jae saw Moon Joo-Ran returned a car to Oh Hae-soo. He asked her why she need to borrow a car from neighbour since she did not have any friend. Moon Joo-Ran expressed that since it was the month of her sister’s death, so she felt a little stress. Park Seung-Jae yelled at her saying that she was always being weak and did not believe her instincts.

Chu Sang-Eun received a call and rush to the hospital to visit her mother. Her aunt told her that her mother has gotten worse since Yoon-beom’s funeral. The next morning, Chu Sang-Eun was watching the news and her mother was talking to herself. She claimed that Chu Sang-Eun did not come home until 12am. She also claimed that she should have lived with her husband instead of raising a child without a father.

Moon Joo-Ran showed Park Jae-Ho the CCTV footage from Oh Hae-soo’s house. She wanted to know where did he go that night. He told her that he went to his father’s house. Moon Joo-Ran wanted to know why he kept lying to her and kept her in dark. He started to blame her for throwing away the pills and not taking care of her mental health. In the end of the conversation, both of them decided to move on from this incident since it was in September. Park Seung-Jae overheard their conversation outside and left the house.

Oh Hae-soo spotted him outside and called him inside. They had a chat with one another. Seung-jae startles her when he asks if children eventually turn out to be just like their parents. That night, Park Jae-Ho burnt the bag left by Kim Yoon-Beom.

The next morning,  Moon Joo-Ran started to clean the house and noticed the charm from Lee Soo-min’s phone which startled her. Park Seung-Jae watched the news of Lee Soo-min’s death in the convenient store. Moon Joo-Ran rushed to the backyard and tried to dig the soil to look for the body. Park Jae-Ho stopped her and told that that their son was having a hard time due to her mental health. Moon Joo-Ran wanted to know the truth and demanded the answers. He then revealed that there was really a dead body in the backyard.

Suddenly, Park Seung-Jae showed up. He claimed that he lied about the strange smell and also the noisy coming from upstairs. Park Jae-Ho tried to push him back inside, but he broke down. He told his father to stop pretending everything was fine. He told them that he was the one who killed Lee Soo-min which shocked Moon Joo-Ran.

Park Seung-Jae recalled he met Lee Soo-min outside the school. She approached him in purpose. She wanted to visit his house and he agreed it. She then told him that she was pregnant and she was going to be his stepmother soon. He pushed her off the staircases and left her unconscious. One of the charms from her phone drop off. Park Seung-Jae called his father and told him about it. Park Jae-Ho then hid the body in the cupboard.

In the evening, Moon Joo-Ran came back to home. She heard noises from upstairs. However, Park Jae-Ho distracted her. Park Seung-Jae went to his bedroom after he had a breakfast. He was shocked when he saw Lee Soo-min crawling for help. Park Seung-Jae promised that he will come back to save her. by the time he came back, he saw his father dig  a grave to bury Lee Soo-min. He was terrified to see his father choked her to death before burying her.

After a couple of days, Moon Joo-Ran noticed a stench smell coming from the backyard. However, Park Jae-Ho and Park Seung-Jae           lied about it. On the night when Kim Yoon-Beom invited him for night fishing, Park Jae-Ho dug the body out from the soil and disposes it in the forest.

Moon Joo-Ran asked Park Jae-Ho why Lee Soo-min said something like this to their son. Park Jae-Ho claimed that he was being blackmailed by her and she was trying to threaten him for money. Moon Joo-Ran was surprised that he disposed Lee Soo-min’s body like an object. He claimed all he did was to protect their son and asked her to let go of this case. She tried to take Park Seung-Jae to the police station and confessed everything so that he wont live in guilty for the rest of his life. Suddenly, she received a call from the police.

The next day, Park Jae-Ho drove Moon Joo-Ran to the police station. On the way there, she spotted Chu Sang-Eun walked to the police station by herself. Park Jae-Ho claimed that Kim Yoon-Beom suggested to bury Lee Soo-min’s body in the reservoir, but he was killed on the same night. He added that Kim Yoon-Beom took Lee Soo-min’s phone when he was drunk. He left the car and wished her good luck with the interview.

At the police station, Chu Sang-Eun told the police about her suspicious between Lee Soo-min and Kim Yoon-Beom. Moon Joo-Ran also being asked the same question. Both of them gave the same responses about Lee Soo-min’s phone and meeting Tae-gyung. The detective asked Chu Sang-Eun why they did not handover the phone to the police. She told him that she wanted to keep her husband alleged affair with a minor as a secret from the public. The detective then asked Chu Sang-eun if Yoon-beom killed Soo-min and then died by suicide out of guilt. Sang-eun was not sure that would be true.

Moon Joo-Ran asked the police when was Lee Soo-min reported missing. The police told her that her father reported her missing one day before her body was found. The detective concluded that Kim Yoon-Beom’s death will be ruled as suicide and so Chu Sang-Eun was not be able to get money from the insurance company.

Outside the police station, Moon Joo-Ran and Chu Sang-Eun had a chat. Chu Sang-Eun received a call from the nursing home. Moon Joo-Ran followed and dropped Chu Sang-Eun. Chu Sang-Eun was told that her mother was trying to slit her wrist. The nurse also informed her that their bills were yet to be paid. Chu Sang-Eun broke down at the laundry room. Suddenly, her landlord gave her a call and asked her to move out.

Park Jae-Ho signed a contract to build a children’s hospital. He went out with his colleagues. Suddenly, one of the colleagues received a call from the police. He asked him if he knew anything about Lee Soo-min. Park Jae-Ho denied it and left. At night, Chu Sang-Eun asked whether she can stay with her aunt. Her aunt gave her excuses. She told her that she will find a place to stay. She took Kim Yoon-Beom’s phone and left everything at the bus stop.

Moon Joo-Ran went back home and found her son missing. He left with his clothes. She tried to call him but could not get through. Oh Hae-soo showed up and she wanted to talk about Park Seung-Jae with her. Oh Hae-soo dropped Moon Joo-Ran at an apartment where Park Seung-Jae rented. He talked to his mother that he was not going home. He added that he saw his father killing Lee Soo-min. Moon Joo-Ran blamed herself for not being more caution. She heard noises that Lee Soo-min made and she would have been able to save her if she did not get distracted by Park Jae-Ho.

On the other hand, Chu Sang-Eun tried to unlock Kim Yoon-Beom’s phone. She was shocked to see the photos of Park Jae-Ho’s house. She recalled the similar photos taken by Lee Soo-min too. She finally understood why her husband demanded 500 million won from Park Jae-Ho. she believed that the last location Lee Soo-min visited was Park Jae-Ho’s house. She wondered to blackmail Moon Joo-Ran or Park Jae-Ho.

The next day, Chu Sang-Eun arrived at Park Jae-Ho’s house. she came in and walked around the house. She checked it out the surrounding of the house based on her husband’s phone. As she sat down, Moon Joo-Ran offered her to kill her husband just like how Chu Sang-Eun killed Kim Yoon-Beom. She was shocked when  Moon Joo-Ran was told by her mother that  Chu Sang-Eun killed her own husband that night. She threatened Chu Sang-Eun, but Chu Sang-Eun refused her requests and went home.

Moon Joo-Ran paid a visit at her mother’s house. She recalled in the past, her mother blamed Moon Joo-Ran for her sister’s death. She asked her why she lent 50 million won to Park Seung-Jae. Her mother claimed that she thought it was the best to it a secret from Moon Joo-Ran since he reached out to her instead of his parent. Moon Joo-Ran informed her to take care of Park Seung-Jae for a couple of days. At the same time, she also demanded an apology from her mother for causing her undergo trauma for the past few years. Her mother refused to apologise to her, but she believed that she should not be blamed totally for her sister’s death.

Chu Sang-Eun received a call from her sister-in-law, Do-Hui that her brother was in hospital. She later learnt that he crashed his car into someone else’s because he was dozed off behind the wheel. Do-Hui asked Chu Sang-Eun for help to give compensation money for the accident caused by her husband. Chu Sang-Eun borrowed money from Moon Joo-Ran for the compensation. After that, she visited her mother at the ward and asked her why she never let her come back home despite seeing her bruises. Her mother claimed that she treated Kim Yoon-Beom well hoping that he would stop hitting Chu Sang-Eun. She also told her that she will give her apartment to her son so that Do-Hui will take care of her. On the other hand, she hoped that Chu Sang-Eun cut tie with her family, stop receiving calls from Do-Hui. She wanted her to live her own life and never be bothered by her family members. After Chu Sang-Eun give birth, just send her a photo of her grandson.

At night, Oh Hae-soo wanted to drop off something to Moon Joo-Ran. However, Park Jae-Ho asked her to stop hanging out with Moon Joo-Ran. He told her that his wife has mental health issue. However, Oh Hae-soo insisted to give something by herself. She expressed that she was sick too and Moon Joo-Ran liked her.

Moon Joo-Ran came to Chu Sang-Eun’s house. Both of them discuss how they were going to kill Park Jae-Ho. Chu Sang-Eun set up a camera recording regarding their discussion as evidence. Moon Joo-Ran agreed to pay her 500 million won in compensation for killing her husband. Chu Sang-Eun suggested her to reveal some clues to her neighbour, Oh Hae-soo and talked to her about Park Jae-Ho killed Kim Yoon-Beom. Chu Sang-Eun also asked Moon Joo-Ran to have Park Jae-Ho to buy charcoal briquette in order to execute their plan. She also asked Moon Joo-Ran to add sleeping pills to Park Jae-Ho’s drinks so that he will be unconscious when she arrived to kill him.

When Moon Joo-Ran asked Chu Sang-Eun whether did she regret for killing her husband, Chu Sang-Eun said she will do the same. Chu Sang-Eun shared a recording where she constantly being abused by her husband. She would not think that she murdered someone, in fact she was saving two lives.

Moon Joo-Ran met Oh Hae-soo to have a chat. She learnt that Oh Hae-soo witnessed her husband die. Oh Hae-soo also shared her experience whereby her husband used to constrain her from going outside. She has been brainwashed by her husband that as long as she did not leave the house, she will be protected by him. Later, she realised that without her husband, she can still move on with her own live.

Before that, Moon Joo-Ran visited Park Jae-Ho at his office. She mentioned that Chu Sang-Eun already knew that Lee Soo-min was killed in the house. Park Jae-Ho convinced her that they should bury the matter in order to protect their son. He suggested that they should kill her so that she no longer blackmailed them for money.

During the D-day, Chu Sang-Eun showed up at Moon Joo-Ran’s house. However, Park Jae-Ho woke up  and attacked her with a needle and left her unconscious.  Park Jae-Ho went to the backyard and dig a grave for Chu Sang-Eun. Moon Joo-Ran spotted Chu Sang-Eun woke up. She gave her a scalpel and told to pretend unconscious until the right time.

Park Jae-Ho came back and Moon Joo-Ran distracted him. She wanted to give him a chance to surrender himself to the police. However, he defended his action and tried to gaslight her. suddenly, he noticed that Chu Sang-Eun moved. He came closer to her and she attacked him with a scalpel. Park Jae-Ho beat her continuously. Moon Joo-Ran slit her wrist and asked him to stop. He slapped her and claimed that she worth nothing without him. She stabbed him with scalpel and ran to the stairs. He followed him and tried to choke him. meanwhile, Chu Sang-Eun went to the glass to look for help. Oh Hae-soo noticed her and went to Park Jae-Ho’s house. She rang the doorbell but nobody answered her. Chu Sang-Eun used a vase and hit the glass. Oh Hae-soo heard a loud sound and called the police. Moon Joo-Ran pushed Park Jae-Ho off the stairs and he die on the spot.

The police interrogate the death of Park Jae-Ho. Moon Joo-Ran confessed that she killed him. She also told the police that her husband killed Lee Soo-min  and Kim Yoon-Beom. She added that Chu Sang-Eun came to her house  to confront Park Jae-Ho for killing her husband. However, Park Jae-Ho tried to kill her. The police told Chu Sang-Eun about Moon Joo-Ran’s confession.

Chu Sang-Eun visited Moon Joo-Ran in the prison. She asked her if she was trying to kill her too. Moon Joo-Ran told her that she was glad that Chu Sang-Eun approached her during the funeral. She told her that she made her realised that she should not lived the lies that Park Jae-Ho telling her. She asked Chu Sang-Eun to live her life to the fullest. Since Kim Yoon-Beom’s death was ruled as murdered, Chu Sang-Eun entitled a huge sum of compensation from the insurance company.

A few years later, Chu Sang-Eun gave birth to a son. She was running a business in a café. She also sent a photo to her mother in the nursing home. On the other hand, Moon Joo-Ran was freed and lived a happy life with her son and mother in the house.

Back in 2020, Lee Rang sacrificed his life to save his brother. Their hate and love relationship comes to the end after forgiving one another. After four months,  Lee Yeon missed his brother. He headed to  Talupia and wanted make his brother come back to life. He promised that he will do anything for her. They made a deal and signed a contract whereby Lee Yeon will continue to work for her until his wife passed away.

On the Lunar Eclipse, a red-white mask guy sneaked and managed to grab the Guardian Stone which is on top of the building. Without the stone, it opened the door between human and demon. Talupia asked Lee Yeon for help. She opened the gate where the red-white mask guy escaped. She asked him to come back before the Hour of the Tiger. Goo Shin-Joo, Lee Yeon’s right-hand man also came along with him too.

Lee Yeon ended up in 1938 where it was during Japanese Colonial era. He saw the red-white mask guy at opposite street. He kept chasing him in order to get back the stone. At the same time, a journalist, Sunwoo Eun-Ho get a bomb from her comrade. She threw the bomb at the Japanese soldiers. Rebels walked on the street to fight against the Japanese. The bandits took this opportunity to taking anything they can, including the stone. Lee Yeon chased Lee Mi-Yeon until arrived at an abandoned cabin. He was surprised to see Lee Rang there. Lee Rang was the boss of bandits.

Lee Yeon hugged his brother warmly, but Lee Rang hated him for abandoning him in the past. Lee Yeon managed to get the stone from Lee Mi-Yeon. While they were having a drink together, Lee Yeon wondered why he did not drink it. He later found out that he has been tricked by Lee Rang. Lee Rang tight him up and called the Japanese to come over. Lee Yeon killed all the Japanese at once. He also shot at Lee Rang’s pipe in order to stop him from smoking. As they fought with one another, Lee Yeon let Lee Rang to defeat him. He got the crystal and need to return to the present. Suddenly, the red-white mask guy stabbed at Lee Rang’s back and left. Lee Rang was in the brick of death. He asked Lee Yeon to bring him to Myoyeongak.

Goo Shin-Joo was lost and he was unable to find Lee Yeon. He was amused encounter with Japanese soldier. He thought it was part of the film. After talking to a bunch of people captured by the soldiers, he only realized that he was back in 1938.

Sunwoo Eun-Ho has been targeted by the Japanese and the soldiers has been looking for her. She was accidentally being shot. Cheon Mu-Young saved her and cured her wound. She wanted to repay his kindness and asked for his name. After she left there, Jung Dae-seung spotted her and captured her. However, Ryuhei Kato stepped in. he was a powerful Japanese Government General. He told him that he has messed with his sisters-in-law. As a result, Jung Dae-seung’s tendon was cut.

The next day, Ryuhei Kato visited Sunwoo Eun-Ho’s house. He wondered she was one of the rebels too. After checking, she did not have any wound on her body. Sunwoo Eun-Ho was surprised as well. She came to Cheon Mu-Young and asked about it. She also brought some alcohol for him as well. They have a deep conversation and became friend. 

Lee Yeon took his brother to Myoyeongak, where he was trying to look for doctors. He ran into a guy, Dong Bang-Sak. He was one of the longest lifespan demons. Lee Yeon tried to bargain with him, so that he can extend Lee Rang’s life. He drew the ball and he was requested to bring him the Uturi’s sword. Lee Yeon has no choice but to bring the sword for him. It was not the right timing as the sword was holding by the younger version of himself. In 1938, he was addicted to smoking opium.

Lee Yeon sneaked and tried to grab the sword. He pretended to be a mirror in order to trick the younger Lee Yeon and yet he got back to sleep. After he headed outside,  However, a bunch of villagers hit him. Suddenly, Goo Shin-Joo showed up as well. He simply gave him some excuses and left in hurry. Unfortunately, Goo Shin-Joo informed the other Lee Yeon about the missing sword. The young Lee Yeon confronted with the old Lee Yeon and fought one another. Lee Yeon distracted the young Lee Yeon with Ji-A’s picture. He then knocked his younger self and hurried back to Myoyeongak.

Lee Rang’s soul came out from his body. He wondered around Myoyeongak about discovered that Dong Bang-Sak was turtle demon. He not only makes people looked younger, he also sucks and distorts the young ones in order to prolong his life. Lee Rang tried to stop Lee Yeon was leaving but he has been trapped in there. Before Lee Yeon left, he ordered Mae-Hwa to shift Lee Rang’s body to another room. Mae-Hwa did as he said. However, Dong Bang-Sak still managed to find his body.

Lee Yeon returned to Myoyeongak. He told Dong Bang-Sak that he knew the whole game from the start has been rigged. All the 44 marbles had Uturi’s Sword written on them. He can’t kill him. Luckily, a young woman, Jook Hyang whom was able to see Lee Rang. Lee Rang borrowed her body to inform Lee Yeon about Dong Bang-Sak. They joined hands together to bring him down. Lee Yeon defeated him and those people whole lifeforce was stolen has been restored.

However, Lee Yeon missed the time where the gate closes. He returned to Taluipa and learnt that he will stick back in 1938 for the next 29 days in this time. However, the time flows differently here. He needs to hold onto the Guardian Stone in order to secure the passage when the gate reopen again. Taluipa told him to get the Legendary Pipe, which happened to be on the train that left Busan. If the pipe fall into Japanese’s hand, and if you played it, it will blow up the whole mountain.

Lee Yeon decided to spend the remaining time with Lee Rang. Lee Rang was suspicious of him because he was different from what he knew. Lee Yeon showed off his phone and promised that the answers could be found in there.

Lee Yeon and Lee Rang got into the train. They were wondering how could they managed to find the pipe. As the train approached the overpass, Lee Rang decided to steal all the valuable goods from everyone in the first class. Akira Saito has been safeguarding the Legendary Pipe. After the overpass, he realized that the pipe has gone. He went to the VIP carriage and tried to get back the pipe. Ryu Hong-ju fought with him and threw him out of the window when she realized that he was not a human.

Lee Rang was told that the pipe has been taken by VIP guest. Lee Yeon and Lee Rang came to the VIP carriage and met Ryu Hong-ju. She was Lee Yeon’s friend. She was a former mountain god too. She was in love with Lee Yeon, but he rejected her. She gave him the pipe. Lee Yeon and Ryu Hong-ju ended up fighting on top of train carriage. Goo Shin-Joo and other prisoners in the last carriage. They decided to take this opportunity to break free and get out of the train. They tricked the guards and rushed to another carriage to escape. Ryu Hong-ju stopped the train which allowed the prisoners to set free. Lee Rang and his bandits left the trains.

Goo Shin-Joo was hungry and he smelled food in the woods. The bandits were grilling the meat and enjoying themselves. Goo Shin-Joo asked for some food. After a drink, he passed out. The bandits took all his belonging, including his ring and shoes.

Akira Saito reported to Ryuhei Kato that he has lost the Legendary Pipe. He did not kill him. In fact, he asked him to search an item stronger than Legendary Pipe.

At night, Lee Yeon and Lee Rang headed back to Myoyeongak. He was surprised to see Ryu Hong-Joo there. Ryu Hong-Joo owned Myoyeongak. She asked him to stay here. Lee Yeon initially refused, but he has been forced to stay there. Lee Yeon learnt that she is an informant, and she earned a lot of money. He asked her to find the red-white mask guy. She agreed with one condition. She sent him to attend Miss Joseon pageant as a judge. He needed to find the reason for exactly who was sabotaging the women in Gyeongseong. He figured out that it could be the Three Worms, which is a creature that controls “desires” and it only targeting beautiful women.

Lee Yeon was shocked to see Sunwoo Eun-Ho who looked like Yoo-ri. After the end of the contest, Young-ae has been chosen to be the winner. When she was giving her speech, she felt boiling hot and began to sweat. Suddenly, she attacked one of the contestants. Everyone was shocked. Lee Yeon saved Sunwoo Eun-Ho from being bitten by her. However, he lost her right after he came out from the building. Cheon Mu-Young prepared the wooden casket and he was waiting for Young-ae outside. He hit her, locked her up in the casket and left.

Sunwoo Eun-Ho shared the rumors what happened in  Gyeongseong, whereby all the beauties who went to Choi Seung-Ja Hair Salon, turned out to be Yachas – demon that crave human flesh and blood. Lee Yeon believed that the suspect must be an ugly human.

Lee Yeon brought Lee Rang to the usual boutique store to make them a new suit. Lee Rang met a woman, Jang Yeo-Hee. She taught him how to tie the necktie. Lee Rang felt embarrassed and shy.

Lee Yeon and Lee Rang applied for a job there. The Salon owner was charmed by their looks and hired them immediately. They tried to look into the culprit of Three Worms. They noticed that all the mirror in the salon was broken. Lee Rang arranged the bandits to get him a brand-new mirror.

Suddenly, all the customers and assistant turned into Yachas. Lee Rang and Lee Yeon tight everyone up. Finally, they found the culprit and mirror was her weakness. Lee Yeon decided not to kill her, because she was the first kitchen god. Her face has been burnt, which is why she hated mirror. She revealed the Three Worms were given by the red-white mask guy. After that, she was burnt and disappeared as she was ordered to die upon telling the truth. Goo Shin-Joo reunited with Lee Yeon on the street. He was glad to see Lee Rang too. Lee Rang felt uneasy for being close to him.

Ryu Hong-Joo found out who was the red-white mask guy. The two reunited again since they were friends. Cheon Mu-Young was glad to meet her again. He expressed that he was dying to kill Lee Yeon who killed his brother.

Ryu Hong-Joo confronted with a Japanese General who harassed her gisaeng. She explained that they were artist, but the Japanese General insisted to take her away. Ryu Hong-Joo offered herself to him with one condition. They were competing in drinking contest. If she loss, the soldiers will do whatever they want to her. The General proclaimed that he will cut her wrist if he won the contest. In turned out that, Ryu Hong-Joo defeated everyone and the General left. Ryu Hong-Joo went outside and killed him as punishment.

Lee Rang overheard the conversation between Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo. He was surprised that his brother was going to leave him after a month. He left to a club for some drink. He saw Jang Yeo-Hee sing on the stage with her mermaid tail. One of the Japanese made fun of her. Lee Rang smacked on his head and fought with others too. Jang Yeo-Hee told him that she was half-blood mermaid. She passed him one of her fish scales just in case he needs help. Lee Yeon questioned Lee Rang for coming home late. He instilled curfew at 10pm for him.

Cheon Mu-Young showed up at the gatekeeper. He wanted to break the spell and take the little girl out who has been sealed for 500 years. He removed her blindfold and told her to make Lee Yeon look into her eyes. Lee Yeon was terrified when he sensed that there was someone in the room. Lee Rang and Goo Shin-Joo found nothing there.

Ryu Hong-Joo met up with Cheon Mu-Young. He handled the bundle of flower to her. She claimed that she knew he was turned into stone and was imprisoned, she wanted to know how he came back alive. He expressed that he was survived because he was thinking of her. When he asked about her siblings, she told him that all her family members were dead.

Cheon Mu-Young sent someone to inform Lee Yeon to meet up. Lee Yeon went to the street and saw Ryu Hong-Joo standing in front of him. He suddenly went blind.  Cheon Mu-Young tried to attack him, but she stopped him. She brought Lee Yeon back to Myoyeongak.

After Goo Shin-Joo checked his eyes, he confirmed that Lee Yeon has lost his sight. Lee Yeon recalled that all this happened after he looked into the eyes of the little girl. Lee Rang feed his brother and also let him adjust himself without his sight. Lee Yeon asked Ryu Hong-Joo to find the root cause for this matter. Ryu Hong-Joo came to see Cheon Mu-Young. She was surprised that he has released Saetani – a monster that created by Yeommae ritual.

Goo Shin-Joo suggested that they should perform exorcism. Lee Rang and Goo Shin-Joo left to prepare everything need to perform exorcism. Ryu Hong-Joo asked Lee Yeon for his feeling. However, he insisted that he only love his wife alone. Ryu Hong-Joo decided to let Yoo Jae-Yoo to spread the rumors to the demons that Lee Yeon was blind. She also ordered all her staff the leave Myoyeongak.

At night, a bunch of demon showed up in the courtyard. They were attacking Lee Yeon. However, he fought them off easy. Ryu Hong-Joo watched them from far. She tried to distract him with loud music. Lee Yeon cut off all the lights so that everyone could not see. She also let Cheon Mu-Young to handle Lee Yeon.

As the clock strikes in midnight, Goo Shin-Joo gave Lee Rang instructions for exorcism ritual. He followed his instructions and does not look back. However, he sensed that someone has been following him with a bell. He walked as hurry as possible. Right before he arrived at Myoyeongak, he fainted as Cheon Mu-Young attacked with a needle. Same goes to Goo Shin-Joo.

Cheon Mu-Young sent a message to Lee Yeon, but he was unable to read. He found a little girl in front of him. He asked her to read out. The message was Lee Rang and Goo Shin-Joo were in trouble. He believed that it was done by the red-white mask guy. He asked the girl to show him the way. Cheon Mu-Young stalked them from far. He also attacked Lee Yeon through the tree. However, Lee Yeon managed to knock him down and escaped.

Lee Yeon learnt who Saetani is and tried to recall her name. With the bell rattling, he remembered that he used to be a mountain god and he promised to grant her a wish. However, she was taken away by the shaman and imprisoned in the sealed box. She prayed for Lee Yeon to rescue her but he never showed up. Lee Yeon hugged her and apologized to her for being late. He called her name and the curse lifted. He then destroyed the box and told her live a normal life after reborn.

On the other hand, Goo Shin-Joo and Lee Rang have been in the well. Both of their hands have been tight up. As the water level kept rising, Lee Rang tried to save Goo Shin-Joo’s life first. The fish scales in his pocket started glowing, which alert Jang Yeo-Hee that he was in trouble. Jang Yeo-Hee swam down and brought him back to surface. Suddenly, there was invisible rings on their fingers.

Jang Yeo-Hee was taking care of Lee Rang who was sleeping. Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo was teasing Lee Rang and tried to wake him up. Lee Rang stopped pretending and chased them away. Lee Rang told Jang Yeo-Hee that he needs to repay her kindness, and he want to make her wish come true. Jang Yeo-Hee told him that she was to fall in love. She wanted to ride a horse together with him. However, Lee Rang misread her signal. He taught her how to ride a horse and also how to attack with axe. Lee Rang found that she has potential and asked if she wanted to join their bandit group.

Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo missed track of Lee Rang having a date with Jang Yeo-Hee. He heard some rumors about red-white mask guy. He robbed the wealthy family, but he only took the jewelry box and left all valuable item behind. Lee Yeon wondered what did he trying to look for. Goo Shin-Joo sneaked into mansion to look for jewelry box. He ended up got pointed by a gun. He was surprised to see Sunwoo Eun-Ho who looked like his wife.  However, she shot at his stomach. He quickly rushed out of the house. Cheon Mu-Young monitored them from far. Goo Shin-Joo met up Lee Yeon at the alley. They eventually came face-to-face with the red-white mask guy.

Cheon Mu-Young led them to a corner where there was a bunch of villagers wearing the same mask. Lee Yeon stopped the fight as he discovered that those are human. They have been paying off with golf to serve as human shield. Cheon Mu-Young took this opportunity to left.

Goo Shin-Joo, Lee Yeon and Lee Rang found the golden ruler, whereby this ruler could revive the dead and make them alive. Cheon Mu-Young wanted to use this ruler to make his brother to come back to life. He was disappointed when he discovered that the jewelry box has been swapped.

Ryu Hong-Joo came to Taluipa because she killed a human. She was there to receive her punishment. Ryu Hong-Joo told them that Cheon Mu-Young has come back alive. She thought Taluipa was the one who released him. Taluipa denied it right away, because Cheon Mu-Young annihilated everything under his care in the mountain. She wondered who was behind this.

Taluipa  came to visit Cheon Mu-Young. She questioned his intention. He admitted that he was here to revive his dead brother and take back everything that he lost. Taluipa knew that he came from future just like Lee Yeon. She told him to eat well as he was not fully recovered.

Cheon Mu-Young met Ryu Hong-Joo, but she could be able to recognize him. He regretted for becoming a mountain god. He wanted to get his revenge on Lee Yeon. Ryu Hong-Joo expressed that she could not sit still when both of her friends fighting together.

Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo was surprised that there was a baby with seven red marks on her forehead showed up in front of Myoyeongak. Lee Yeon and Lee Rang tried to get rid of the baby, but somehow the baby still managed to show up in front of Myoyeongak. They decided to take care of the baby.

Ryu Hong-Joo met a couple who used to be beaten by Lee Yeon. They formed a club as Anti Nine-tailed fox. They told them what they encountered with Lee Yeon. Ryu Hong-Joo learnt that Lee Yeon was addicted to opium. Later, she asked Yoo Jae-Yoo to prepare opium for her.

Ryu Hong-Joo asked to meet Lee Yeon. He was shocked to see her smoking opium. He took away the opium. As they both sit together, they agreed to ask each other questions. If they can’t answer the question, they have to strip their cloth.  Ryu Hong-Joo asked what does she meant to him. He did not want to trick her and he admitted that he could not give her the answer that she wanted. He asked her who was the mask guy. She refused to answer and striped down her cloth. Lee Yeon stopped her and covered her with her coat. He also gave her the snakeberries that she used to like.

Ryu Hong-Joo went to Manchuria to confirm Lee Yeon existing. She discovered that there was two Lee Yeon in this era. She personally met the one who addicted with opium.

Lee Rang brought the baby for a walk. He came to a gambling corner. He was surprised that the baby was able to guess correctly. Lee Rang won a lot from gambling. He brought expensive stuffs for the baby to celebrate the small fortune.

Cheon Mu-Young visited his brother’s grave. He recalled his past memory with his brother. He hoped that he was on the right path. Goo Shin-Joo and Lee Rang was discussing a name for the baby. They decided to name her as Lee Mi-Ho.

The Fortune God was found by Jung Dae-seung in the gold mining. Ryuhei Kato wanted to use this Fortune God to find more golds for him. As he was imprisoned, Ryuhei Kato told his subordinate to make him talk. However, it turned out that he wanted the baby with seven red marks on her forehead.

The soldier put up the posters and promising great reward. Lee Yeon and Lee Rang brought the baby for outing. They saw the poster and tried to escape as soon as possible. However, the people recognized that baby and kept chasing them. They eventually made a way to stop them from chasing them.

 Jung Dae-seung showed up in Myoyeongak and wanted to them to handover the baby. Lee Yeon and Lee Rang entertained the baby by stopping the Japanese soldiers. Then, Lee Yeon brainwashed them by using his superpower. As the soldiers reported to Ryuhei Kato, he discovered that all of them has been brainwashed. He knew that it was done by super strong demon.

Goo Shin-Joo went to the tailor shop runs by Bok Hye-Ja. He simply chose a shirt to wear and asked Jang Yeo-Hee to add into Lee Yeon’s bill. Sunwoo Eun-Ho was shocked when she found the shirt missing. That shirt contained confidential information about the rebels against the Japanese. Jang Yeo-Hee told her that Goo Shin-Joo took it. Sunwoo Eun-Ho found him on the street. She made a deal with him.  Goo Shin-Joo returned all the jewelry back to her. He also decided to be part of the rebellion and they became comrade.

Ryuhei Kato called for Ryu Hong-Joo. He asked her to handover the baby and threatened her with Orchid’s life. She came back to Myoyeongak and discussed her plan with Lee Yeon and Lee Rang. They did a show in front of Ryuhei Kato’s subordinates. Lee Rang disguised himself as Lee Mi-Ho and Ryu Hong-Joo brought him to Ryuhei Kato. The old man whom they thought was the Fortune God, refused to reveal the location of the gold. Ryu Hong-Joo begged him and told him that there was a life to be saved. The old man simply picked a spot for them.

Akira Saito brought his men and Ryu Hong-Joo to that location. Akira Saito’s men couldn’t find the gold. Akira Saito questioned that old man. The old man took off his cloth and went into the river. He found the gold. Akira Saito then asked him to plot other location which consists of golds. He simply plotted on the map. Akira Saito wasn’t happy and shot him.

On the other hand, Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo pretended to be police officers to rescue Orchid. Unfortunately, someone noticed them and kept chasing them. Lee Yeon tried to distract them by disguised himself as Orchid whereas Goo Shin-Joo took her to hid somewhere else. The baby was taken care by Bok Hye-Ja. After completing the mission, Lee Yeon sent a signal to Ryu Hong-Joo.

Ryu Hong-Joo saw the signal and knew that Orchid was saved. She left Lee Rang behind and tried to get the map. However, there was too many soldiers and Lee Rang could not be able to fight alone. Ryu Hong-Joo came back as a backup for Lee Rang.

Lee Yeon was on the street. He bypassed Ryuhei Kato and sensed a reek of human flesh. He warned him to stop eating human. As Bok Hye-Ja called Lee Yeon from far, Ryuhei Kato tried to attack her. Lee Yeon fought back in order to protect her. Ryuhei Kato told him that they will meet again soon.

Orchid returned. The old man and Lee Mi-Ho Jung said goodbye with Lee Yeon, Lee Rang and Goo Shin-Joo. It turned out that the baby was the Fortune God and the old man was responsible to protect her. She admitted that she preferred Lee Rang over Goo Shin-Joo. She also has a little prophecy for Lee Yeon, that he could lose his way and needs to be wary of that. She gave him the big dipper in order to show him the path.

Cheon Mu-Young went to the market to look for the pawnshop. It turned out that the shop did not open daily. Cheon Mu-Young was suffering pain from his body. He needed something to recover from it.

Taluipa met the King of Five Paths at cinema. She questioned him whether he was the one who released Cheon Mu-Young from prison. He denied it right away. He expressed that it could be another person who has the ability to do so. The King of Five Paths showed up at Cheon Mu-Young’s house. He knew that he wasn’t from this time period and asked what was he after. He gave him the cure for his pain. In return, he has to exchange something with him. Cheon Mu-Young willing to exchange for everything, including his soul.

Lee Rang went for a date. He prepared a bouquet of flowers and watched her show. Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo followed him. Jang Yeo-Hee was jealous when she saw Lee Rang talking to another woman happily in front of her. She used her siren powers to shatter all the glasses in the room, and it caused her to storm out.

Lee Rang waited for her outside. He was impressed with her superpower and believed that they would be good in combat. After realizing Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo were listening, they ran away as fast as they could. Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo knew where they were hiding and decided not to disturb them. Lee Yeon headed back to Myoyeongak. He heard someone was calling for him. It turned out that Cheon Mu-Young was there to greet him. Lee Yeon was happy to see his old friend and hugged him tightly. He then asked him,  “Are you red-white mask guy?”

Yoo Jae-Yoo alerted Ryu Hong-Joo that Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young have been fighting in right now. In the past, three of them made a promise that they will protect each other until they die. They used Taluipa’s favourite comb as a proof. In order to stop the fight, Ryu Hong-Joo took her sword and stabbed on both of them. She knew that Lee Yeon was not from this era. She wanted to know the reason why her best friends fighting with one another. Lee Yeon admitted that he killed Cheon Mu-Young’s brother, but he wasn’t regret about it. Lee Yeon then passed out due to loss of blood. Cheon Mu-Young saved his life through his rare blood.

Lee Rang spent some time eating with Jang Yeo-Hee. They had a small chat with one another. Lee Rang has many wishes to fulfill. After done eating, Jang Yeo-Hee went home alone with a smile on her face. Lee Rang watched her from far to ensure that she was safely arrive home.

Meanwhile, Goo Shin-Joo and Sunwoo Eun-Ho went to the boutique store. He was surprised to see Hyun Ui-Ong was part of the rebellion group too. He worked with the Independence Volunteer Corps. They were waiting to receive instruction from Manchuria soon.

Ryu Hong-Joo asked him why did he save Lee Yeon. He told her that he was to take back everything he lost from him. Previously, the King of Five Paths gave him a red pouch and he has been placing it on the rooftop of Myoyeongak.

Lee Yeon was healed and headed out to look for Cheon Mu-Young. He wanted to know the how he managed to find him and why he brought him here. He thought that he was after the Golden ruler and the stone. Cheon Mu-Young claimed that this was not what he was looking for. He told him that he was looking for a cure to his petrification on his body. Lee Yeon told him to ask Taluipa to lift her curse. However, it was impossible since he annihilated everything he ruled in his forest.

Ryu Hong-Joo interrupted them. She told them to get prepared for outing. Three of them spent a wonderful time together. She reflected on the old times. She asked Cheon Mu-Young how he and Lee Yeon lives in future. Cheon Mu-Young told her that he has been watching him and he was doing well with his friends and family. As for him, he lied to her that he was also living in his best of life.

 Ryu Hong-Joo was going to hire new kisaeng. There will be five kisaengs’ came to Myoyeongak. However, it turned out that there was the sixth person.

At night, Sunwoo Eun-Ho came to Myoyeongak to teach kisaengs’ maths. After they finished their study, they agreed to play the corner game. They began to play until they noticed that there was the fifth person in the game. Sunwoo Eun-Ho screamed and disappeared. The kisaengs’ quickly informed Ryu Hong-Joo about it. Ryu Hong-Joo and Lee Yeon decided to find Sunwoo Eun-Ho as they thought that it could be a simply ghost. Cheon Mu-Young knew that its was coming, but he never expected that it will took human away.

Lee Yeon, Ryu Hong-Joo , Cheon Mu-Young and Goo Shin-Joo joined the game. Suddenly, Lee Rang showed up, and everything goes awry. Ryu Hong-Joo went missing too. Cheon Mu-Young was nervous and he never expect that it was so powerful that it could even take away the former mountain god. They also noticed that the salt in kisaengs’’ room turned into black. They believed that it was not ordinary ghost.

With Goo Shin-Joo’s specialty, he communicated with a black cat and found out that it was done by Jang San-beom. Cheon Mu-Young headed to the the King of Five Paths and told him what had happened and asked him for help. The King of Five Paths tried to stop him as he sees endless of darkness in his eyes. He promised that he will save Ryu Hong-Joo and came back alive at all cost.

Lee Rang asked his gang to look for someone who experience the same incident. An olde woman told them that she was saved by a stray cat. Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young decided to save Ryu Hong-Joo and Sunwoo Eun-Ho with the help of stray cat. Before Lee Yeon left, he asked Goo Shin-Joo to tell Taluipa that they were going to see Jang San-beom.

Lee Rang gave his brother a string so that he can find a way home. After he closed the door, he tried to see what had happened inside. The room became dark and the string went berserk. When he opened the door, both of them vanished.

Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young came to Gwanghwamun, in the Joseon Dynasty. Strangely, nobody was there. They found a few dead bodies and believed that they passed away three days ago. They saw a little girl sitting at the corner. The girl agreed to bring them to meet Jang San-beom. After following the girl inside a house, they suddenly passed out.

When they awaken,  Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young found themselves being tight up and have been slashed with a sword. Later, they realized that they were on a film set called Jang San-beom’s Bride.

Taluipa  told Goo Shin-Joo that Jang San-beom’s area was in between the living and the death. This is the place where the gods or her cannot enter. He was also able to mimic one  memory, voice, and face. After learning that Lee Rang was holding a string on his hand, she expressed that he was in danger. Goo Shin-Joo has to inform that Lee Rang’s blood should not to put blood on the string as that could serves as an invitation to the demon. On the other hand, Jang San-beom mimicked Lee Yeon’s voice and asked him to do what he said. Lee Rang has entered into his trap. They cut his body and kept influenced him so that he can give up on the string. Luckily, Jang Yeo-Hee used her superpower to save Lee Rang’s live.

Jang San-beom tried to make Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young to fight one another. When  Ryu Hong-Joo showed up, she could not recognize them since she has lost her memories. Ryu Hong-Joo was the main actress and Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young were the supporting actors. They have to play along with the script since they were unable to use their power in this fantasy world.

Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young tried to look for the real Jang San-beom. Eventually, Cheon Mu-Young figured out that the real demon was the young woman was eating the snack of Ryu Hong-Joo. She was the person they met since they first arrived. Jang San-beom threatened him that she was going to die by his hand. As the demon was attacking Cheon Mu-Young, Lee Yeon stabbed Jang San-beom at the back. However, that was a fake weapon. Jang San-beom gave another hour to look for Ryu Hong-Joo.

When the scene shifts again and this time is a quiz show. Cheon Mu-Young when he saw his own brother before him as quizmaster. The questions were all intended to rile them up completely. Lee Yeon knew his intention and tried to stop Cheon Mu-Young. He spoke to the camera by telling Jangsan Tiger that his plan was not going to work and they will get out of this place.

Switched to another scene in Joseon Period, Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young only left limited time to save Ryu Hong-Joo. They looked for her everywhere until they arrived at a house. She has become Jang San-beom’s wife and she was waiting for Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young. She attacked both of them by keeping Jang San-beom’s safety. Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young tried to make her recall about their past memories.

Three of them fight with one another. Cheon Mu-Young could not be able to hurt her. In fact, Ryu Hong-Joo stabbed him on his body. Lee Yeon stopped her. However, she choked both of them. Ryu Hong-Joo memories recalled when she saw the comb played in her hand by Cheon Mu-Young and the memories of the three.

As Jang San-beom screamed for her to kill both of them, Ryu Hong-Joo throw the sword at him instead. Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young also stabbed at him too. They defeated Jang San-beom. Since the time was running out, everyone was hurry to get out from the place. Lee Yeon followed the string on his hand and they found the gate. Ryu Hong-Joo and Sunwoo Eun-Ho came back safely, but Lee Yeon was there looking out for Cheon Mu-Young. Lee Rang was shocked when he realized that Cheon Mu-Young did this on purpose.

Lee Yeon went back to the courtyard to look for Cheon Mu-Young. He was destroying Jang San-beom in order to take the stone. Lee Yeon realised that he was the one who summoned the demon. Cheon Mu-Young needed the stone to heal himself from petrification and reclaimed his body. He told him that he was going to taunt him and there was no way he will be returning home.

Suddenly, Lee Rang showed up with a cat. He confronted with Cheon Mu-Young. Cheon Mu-Young told him in secret that he will sacrifice himself for the sack of his brother in 2020. After that, Lee Rang brought Lee Yeon back home.

Cheon Mu-Young admitted to Ryu Hong-Joo that he was the one who summoned the demon and he never expected such incident happened to her. He revealed that he has reclaimed his body and he wanted to revive his dead brother. Ryu Hong-Joo told him that she wanted him to stay by his side, but he urged her try not to dissuade him from his mission. She then left.

On the other hand, Kato began to collect demons for experiments. He needed something more strong and powerful like Shinigami Mercenaries, as they were the best in the field. Akira Saito told him it could be uncontrollable. However, Kato was confident that he could control them.

Shinigami Mercenaries arrived at the train station. Ryuhei Kato sent his men to pick them up. On the way to town, they spotted Jang Yeo-Hee who was walking on the street. Shinigami Mercenaries immediately that she was a mermaid. Yuki wanted to eat her flesh, but they have no time for this. They were on the way to meet Ryuhei Kato and their boss were missing.

Ryuhei Kato expressed that he wanted to covert Joseon demons into the Empire’s war weapons. Their mission is to capture the demon alive and they will be paid by number of head. Myoyeongak was holding a hug event. Ryu Hong-Joo called Lee Yeon and his brother to help out to prepare kimchi. Everyone was having fun there.

On the other hand, Cheon Mu-Young was setting up the Banhon Charm in order to revives the dead. He knew that he will not be forgiven, he insisted to do it. He was driven by his unwavering desire to revive his brother at all cost. Yoo Jae-Yoo, Goo Shin-Joo and Lee Mi-Yeon shared a room together. Yoo Jae-Yoo told them to take turns to do the chores.

As protests continues at Taluipa’s abode, she asked Lee Yeon and Ryu Hong-Joo to settle their complaint. Lee Yeon and Ryu Hong-Joo listened to their stories and provided them solutions. Lee Rang headed to the Club to hear Jang Yeo-Hee’s singing. However, he has been distracted by what Cheon Mu-Young said to him. He went out and Jang Yeo-Hee followed. He told her about his feeling and decided to leave everything behind. Jang Yeo-Hee called him coward and urged him to face the issue. She told him that she wanted to marry him. They hugged each other in the rain.

After sorting out the complaints, Lee Yeon and Ryu Hong-Joo wondered why there were so many issues. They heard some rumors that there was a number demons have been missing. Lee Rang wanted to fight back, but Ryu Hong-Joo stopped him since he was a traveler in this period of time. He has less than a week to return to the future.

When Lee Rang returned, Oyudo, one of the Shinigami Mercenaries approached him.  He invited him to plat a dangerous game, whereby they were betting on years of their life. Lee Rang joined the game and loss everything. He only has less than a day to survive. Lee Yeon found out and he demanded Dokgakgwi revert it all back. He refused since they played it fairly. Lee Yeon has no choice but to win back Lee Rang’s lifespan.

During the game, Lee Yeon discovered that Dokgakgwi has been cheating all the time. He caught him and sliced his hand. He demanded him to play fair and return everyone lifespan that he has stolen. Lee Yeon continued to fold until he has a good hand to go all in. In the end, Lee Yeon cheated him in order to win the game. Lee Rang and other gods gained back their lifespan.

Ryu Hong-Joo was told by Lee Mi-Yeon that Yoo Jae-Yoo has been pulled into the toilet by the toilet demon. Ryu Hong-Joo lured her out so that she should not mess with her people. The toilet demon wanted to spend eternity with Yoo Jae-Yoo. She begged her to let her nesting. In return, she told her that the golden ruler and guardian was located in Myoyeongak.

Ryuhei Kato spoke to Sunwoo Eun-Ho that he wanted to marry her. He also informed Sunwoo Eun-Ho’s father about it and forbid that. Ryuhei Kato blackmailed him with the proof that Sunwoo Eun-Ho was the culprit behind the bomb. When Sunwoo Eun-Ho returned home, her father was mad and decided to arrange her marriage on next Sunday.

Lee Yeon revealed to his brother about what was going on in the future. He also showed him the video that the future Lee Rang sent to him. When Lee Rang asked whether he cried when he passed away, he lied it. Suddenly, Jang Yeo-Hee showed up and hugged Lee Rang. She was glad that he was safe and alive.

Cheon Mu-Young spoke to his brother that he promised to revive his body. However, he needed to find the golden ruler and guardian stone. Shinigami Mercenaries captured many gods and some of them get killed. Lee Yeon and Lee Rang felt that it was a serious case and decided to get involved.

Ryu Hong-Joo asked Lee Yeon about the stone and golden ruler. It turned out that Lee Yeon kept the treasures in her room. He told her that he was going to face them and he was not going to hid. He asked her to spread the news that he will be at Bando Hotel waiting for them to come.

Lee Yeon came to see Cheon Mu-Young. They fought one another. Later, they decided to sit and talk. Cheon Mu-Young explained that he needed to revive his brother. Lee Yeon told him that he did what he can to save his brother and to protect Mu-Young. They drunk together and thought it was the last meeting.

Ryu Hong-Joo came to see Ryuhei Kato. She proposed that she will help him get the treasures with a condition. Ryuhei Kato must ensure the safety of her girls and Myoyeongak. Ryuhei Kato agreed it. in fact, she knew that Ryuhei Kato was clever. He knew what she was up to something. Yoo Jae-Yoo concerned about her safety. She assured that if she fails, they can use the guardian stone to go to future just like Lee Yeon.

Lee Yeon came to see Taluipa and told her about his plan. Although she was not really agreed with his plan, she supported him. Lee Yeon wanted to settle his debts and wipe out Kato. Lee Yeon only left 4 days, so he has to be quick to settle the issue.

Lee Rang was joining the force as well. Before that, he spent a day with his girlfriend by the sea. He told her that he will disband his bandit gang and find a proper job. The next morning, Lee Yeon, Lee Rang, Ryu Hong-Joo headed over to Bando Hotel. Ryu Hong-Joo also brought her kisaengs there too. All of them settling into different rooms across the floors. There was a man who handling out the flyers regarding the Hypnotic Society performing that night at the hotel.

Lee Yeon asked Lee Rang whether he willing to follow him back to future. Lee Rang refused. He then gave him a pair of wedding rings. Lee Yeon encouraged him to take the next step with Jang Yeo-Hee. They noticed that there was a lot of people coming to the hotel.

The Hypnotic Society hold an event in the hotel. Kisaengs, Lee Mi-Yeon, Goo Shin-Joo and Yoo Jae-Yoo also joined the event. All of them got hypnotised. Lee Rang and Lee Yeon discovered it and demanded the hypnotist to revert his cast.

After that, Lee Yeon discussed his plan with Lee Rang and the gang. Lee Yeon planned to get Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young to his side, so that it will be the fight between the Mountain Gods and Shinigami Mercenaries. Goo Shin-Joo did some studies about Shinigami Mercenaries. There was four of them and they stayed at Room 404. Lee Rang was given a task to inform Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young to come to Room 404.

Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young met up. He told her that he was going to release Yacha in the hotel. She asked what if one of their guys get bitten, Cheon Mu-Young told her the cure for it. He went back to the forest and bring Yacha to his room.

Shinigami Mercenaries came to the boutique store. They knew that Bok Hye-Ja was Water Snail Bride. They tried to harm her. Fortunately, she managed to save herself. When Jang Yeo-Hee came to the boutique store, she was surprised to see the mess. Bok Hye-Ja told her that Shinigami Mercenaries were heading to Bando Hotel. Jang Yeo-Hee worried about Lee Rang. She quickly ran to the hotel to inform him. Finally, she found him. Lee Rang was surprised and tried to bring her out of the hotel. Suddenly, the light turned off.

Lee Yeon entered the Room 404. He was shocked that there was nobody inside. He saw a picture and touched it. He was then entered into an illustration world. Later, Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young also followed him. Cheon Mu-Young fought with Lee Yeon in order to get the treasure. Later, Ryu Hong-Joo joined in to take the treasures.

Shinigami Mercenaries was there and they were waiting for their boss. However, Ushichibo decided to move himself. He was a demon that hunts animals with deadly poison. Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young inhaled the poison and experienced a litany of different curses. Ushichibo asked them to handover the treasure, in exchange for the antidote. The former mountain gods did not give in and decided to torture him so that he gave him the antidote. Ryu Hong-Joo brought her tools and ready to break one bone at a time. Ushichibo screamed aloud. Other Shinigami Mercenaries realised it and raced over to there. Ryu Hong-Joo hit him until he dies. By the time other Shinigami Mercenaries arrived , they only found Ushichibo’s dead body. Yuki decided to get some revenge.

Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young were suffering from poison. Cheon Mu-Young passed out. Suddenly, Yuki showed up and asked Lee Yeon if he liked her. She handed a little snowman over as a symbol of her love and tried to kiss him. Ryu Hong-Joo stopped her and end up fighting until the effect of the poison become unbearable. Yuki ran off and Lee Yeon chased her. He gave her the golden ruler in exchange for the antidote.

In hotel, as the light turned off, Yacha lurked in the hallway and started to attack human. They almost get the kisaengs. Luckily, Yoo Jae-Yoo jumped into and saved them. A flock of Yacha turned other guests into Yacha as well. Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-Hee seem to have no way to escape from Yachas. Luckily, Lee Mi-Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo stepped in to clear a path for them. Lee Rang let her stayed in his room. Unfortunately, she was attacked by a Yacha when she opened the room. Lee Rang took her to the bedroom. As they talked, Lee Rang gave her the ring to show his love for her. He asked Goo Shin-Joo and the gang for solution. Yoo Jae-Yoo revealed what he heard from Cheon Mu-Young about the cure. They decided to go to the kitchen to look for it.

Lee Rang and Lee Mi-Yeon tried to lure the Yachas by using the record player. This in fact will clear path for Goo Shin-Joo to go to the kitchen to look for the cure. Suddenly, the man who was handling the flyer showed up and ruined their plan. Although their plan went awry, Goo Shin-Joo managed to get the antidote. Lee Rang and the gang returned to the room and gave Jang Yeo-Hee the antidote. After she took the antidote, she woke up and said “I Love You” to the fox. All the Yachas seem gone, and the man turned out to the boss of Shinigami Mercenaries.

Sunwoo Eun-Ho heard from Bok Hye-Ja that Kato was not a human. She warned her to take away from him. He might be the one who harmed her sister. Sunwoo Eun-Ho told her about her marriage and she decided to use her marriage to battle against them.

Lee Yeon gave the antidotes to Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young with a condition. They have to help to track down and kill those Shinigami Mercenaries. They agreed to work together. Lee Yeon shared his information regarding Shinigami Mercenaries. He wanted to use their talent to fight against Shinigami Mercenaries. Yuki was a snow woman, Oogama was a strong old toad demon. However, there was a third guy which Lee Yeon believed he was the boss, was not sure about his power. Lee Yeon decided to go after him.

Before he left, Ryu Hong-Joo prepared a lot of weapons for him. She also gave him a hug and took this opportunity to steal the treasures without his knowledge. Lee Yeon met an old man. He was asking him how he managed to get in there. As the man tried to jump on his back due to leg injuries, Lee Yeon stabbed the guy and told him that he knew he was one of Shinigami Mercenaries as he smells just like Ushichibo.

Onyudo jumped on to Lee Yeon and performed soul switching. He was a body-switching demon. And Lee Yeon was in this old man body. Onyudo tried to look for the treasures in his suit, but he could not find it. Lee Yeon checked his suit and realised that Ryu Hong-Joo has taken it. Onyudo left Lee Yeon alone and looked for Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young. Lee Yeon worried that he might pretend to be him and trick his friends.

Onyudo lured Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young since they did not know about the switching body. Lee Yeon faced Yuki and Oogama, who were looking for Onyudo everywhere. He managed to convince them that he has not switched over. He was surprised when Yuki mentioned about their boss, so there was a fifth person within Shinigami Mercenaries.

Lee Yeon was rallying the Shinigami Mercenaries to his cause and decided to find Lee Yeon and track them down. Onyudo also convinced Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young to follow. Onyudo tried to get the treasures from Ryu Hong-Joo. Suddenly, Yuki and Oogama arrived. Both Hong-joo and Moo-yeong find themselves in individual fights, as Yuki squares off against the latter and Hong-joo finds herself in a test of strength against our toad demon, Oogama. Later, Onyudo revealed his true identity and  slashed Ryu Hong-Joo with his sword. She was shocked that he was not Lee Yeon. Yuki freeze  both Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young. However, he underestimated Cheon Mu-Young talent to unfreeze himself and stab Oogama. After that, he tried to unfreeze Ryu Hong-Joo. Onyudo wanted to switch body with Cheon Mu-Young. When he started to perform the switching, Lee Yeon jumped in and get back his body. He then conjured his lighting power to turn Onyudo into dust. Ryu Hong-Joo completely unfreeze and three of them lying down on the grass. The three of them then back in the hotel again.

Lee Yeon later found out that they were actually still in illustration created by the boss. Not really know how, but they managed to come back to the real world. The boss hypnotised Lee Yeon to handover the treasures to him. He did what he was told. He also hypnotised Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young to fight one another. Lee Yeon tried to stop but them but he can’t. Lee Yeon also can hypnotise Yuki and Oogama to get the boss. He told Yuki to freeze him and also instructed all of them to jump off the cliff. He also got back his treasure from the boss. The curse of Ryu Hong-Joo and Cheon Mu-Young have been lifted. Before they left the hotel, Cheon Mu-Young took the golden ruler away from Le Yeon. Afterall, all of them get back to Myoyeongak to treat their wound.

Sunwoo Eun-Ho asked Goo Shin-Joo for help to destroy all the Japanese government during her wedding. Lee Yeon overheard their conversation and he wanted to contribute as well. Kato went to Bok Hye-Ja’s store and told her that he knew everything about what they were planning. He wanted them to give up on their plan and stop fighting against them. Bok Hye-Ja asked Sunwoo Eun-Ho to on hold their plan, but Sunwoo Eun-Ho insisted to go with it.

The wedding took place in two days’ time. Lee Yeon agreed to help Sunwoo Eun before he returned to the future. Lee Yeon spoke to Lee Rang about his departure and his wishes. He asked him to live well with his girlfriend and whenever he missed him, just think about their ugly memories.

Cheon Mu-Young was badly injured and collapsed on the street. Hyun Ui-Ong saw him and brought he to Bok Hye-Ja’s store. He requested her to take care of him. Cheon Mu-Young woke up and found himself in an unfamiliar place. Bok Hye-Ja claimed that she treated his injuries and take care of him. Cheon Mu-Young walked around the store and found a pair of green high heels. He presented Ryu Hong-Joo that high heels and left some notes for her. Ryu Hong-Joo received the high heels and she was happy. She knew that Cheon Mu-Young was the one who sent the gift for her. Yoo Jae-Yoo has been teased by Lee Mi-Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo, who secretly in love with Ryu Hong-Joo.

Despite losing the golden ruler, Lee Yeon discussed with Ryu Hong-Joo to help him to take down Kato. Ryu Hong-Joo refused because Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young came from future and she was the only one who lived in that period. She wanted him to go back to the future on time.

Cheon Mu-Young used the ruler to revive his brother. He only wanted to live a normal life with his brother. However, it turned out that the person he tried to revive was not his brother. He has been fooled by the original mountain god. He touched his forehead and he turned stiff and collapsed. Ryu Hong-Joo felt something bad had happened when she dropped a vase.

Lee Yeon met up with Taluipa to talk about his plan to take down Kato. Taluipa told him that the guardian stone and the golden ruler should not exist in the same period of time, as they attracted one another like magnets and became one like before. Lee Yeon rushed to look for Cheon Mu-Young in the forest. He was late because Cheon Mu-Young’s heart was almost stopped. He tried to wake him up. Cheon Mu-Young told him to protect Ryu Hong-Joo.

Lee Rang and Jang Yeo-Hee was walking on the street. Lee Rang wanted to get a gift for her and asked her to wait outside. Unfortunately, Yuki appeared in front of her and slitted her neck before she yelled for Lee Rang. By the time Lee Rang came back, he found the broken jar on the floor. He knew that she was in trouble. On the other hand, Oogam kidnapped Yoo Jae-Yoo.

Lee Yeon checked the scene where Jang Yeo-Hee went missing. he confirmed that she was still alive. He noticed that there was a small snowman left there. He knew that it was Yuki behind this. He promised Lee Rang that he will not leaving  him alone.

Lee Yeon wrote a letter to young Lee Yeon who lived in Manchuria. He told him that he needed to be there for Rang as he will not live long. As he mentioned about “she” was back home, the young Lee Yeon quickly packed his stuff and moved to Gyeongseong.

Yoo Jae-Yoo and Jang Yeo-Hee were still alive and they have been in prison. Kato went to Bok Hye-Ja’s store and found Lee Yeon was there. As both of them introduced to one another, Kato was a mountain god of Japan. He wanted the stone for the best interest of Empire of Japan. He threatened Lee Yeon to hand over the stone or he will kill Yoo Jae-Yoo and Jang Yeo-Hee.

Everyone gathered in Myoyeongak and discussed about their rescue plan. They need to save two hostages and take down Kato before the Lunar eclipse at 7pm. Goo Shin-Joo and Lee Mi-Yeon were assigned to track down the two hostages’ whereabouts. Kato did not intend to move the hostages. In fact, he let Saito and Shinigami Mercenaries to handle them.

On the other hand, Ryu Hong-Joo headed to Taluipa to borrow their thousand miles eyes. Unluckily, she was too late. The original mountain god took away the eye from her. Before the wedding, Sunwoo Eun-Ho and the girls put their weapon hidden in their luggage as well as the flower vase. Although Detective Jung suspicious about it, he did not check on them.

Saito gave Shinigami Mercenaries some needles. They were supposed to inject Yoo Jae-Yoo and Jang Yeo-Hee. As Yoo Jae-Yoo tried to fight with Oogama, one of the needles destroyed. Oogama brought Yoo Jae-Yoo out and tight him on a tree. He then injected the needle into Yoo Jae-Yoo’s body.

Lee Rang showed up in the prison and fight with Yuki. Ryu Hong-Joo helped Lee Rang to distract Yuki so that he can save her. Ryu Hong-Joo then rushed to the forest to look for Yoo Jae-Yoo. Yoo Jae-Yoo lost control and hurt Ryu Hong-Joo when he heard the whistling. As he could not control himself, he decided to stab himself. Suddenly, young Lee Yeon showed up and brought a bottle of antidote for  Ryu Hong-Joo to treat Yoo Jae-Yoo.

Oogama returned to the prison and help Yuki to take down Lee Rang. He was powerless to protect Jang Yeo-Hee. Jang Yeo-Hee tried to stop Yuki by stabbing her. However, she ended up being choked by Yuki. Lee Rang’s fox power has awakened. His eyes changed. He defeated Oogama easily and Yuki get killed too. Perhaps he has overused his fox power and became weak. Suddenly, Shinigami Mercenaries’ boss appeared in front of them. Lee Rang has no energy to fight with him anymore. Suddenly,  young Lee Yeon showed up and slashed the boss.

The wedding was set to take place. Lee Yeon disguised as Sunwoo Eun-Ho and interrupted the whole event. He hoped them rest in peace as he was going to explode everything there. Everyone was trying to escape from Bando Hotel, but the door was closed. Kato and Lee Yeon battled with one another. Eventually, Lee Yeon won the battle. As more and more soldier surrounding that area, Ryu Hong-Joo stepped in to clear path for Lee Yeon. They hugged one another and said goodbye.

Lee Yeon almost unable to reach Taluipa’s place on time. Fortunately, Cheon Mu-Young showed up and cleared path for him. The fortune god granted his wish and revived his life.  Lee Yeon and Goo Shin-Joo arrived on time. He waited for Lee Rang for a moment he entered the gate. Lee Rang managed to come and said goodbye to him. He also gave him a gift before he left.

Lee Yeon returned to the present and reunited with his wife. Ryu Hong-Joo returned Myoyeongak and found a present left by Lee Yeon to her. Cheon Mu-Young, who was fully recovered, decided to help others by treating them. Ryu Hong-Joo also left  a bag of gold bars to Bok Hye-Ja to support their funding.  Furthermore, Lee Rang and young Lee Yeon stayed at Myoyeongak. He was going to help Lee Yeon to withdraw his habit.

At night, Ryu Hong-Joo, Lee Yeon and Cheon Mu-Young, ready to take out the new Governor-General and their soldiers.
