[Review] The Last Empress

Lee Hyuk has been well respected by the public. Oh Sunny has been invited to have a luncheon with the Emperor. She was his fans. She was really happy about it. She invited the Emperor to attend her musical performance. His personal assistance, Min Yu Ra, redecorated the emperor room. She found out that the Empress Dowager was watching every move of the emperor. She reported to the emperor about it. He was not happy and not believing it. He did a test to see whether what she meant is true. He realised that Empress Dowager was actually watching him. Lee Hyuk was frustrated. He went to disco to release stress. Yu Ra met the emperor and had an affair with him. Yu Ra seduces the emperor in order to gain power in the palace. Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra went for a vacation at Bicheno.

Bicheno was Yu Ra’s hometown. She has a boyfriend named Na Wang Shik. She stayed with her boyfriend and his mother. She has a child with another man but in order to protect her reputation, Wang Shik’s mother took this child as her son. Therefore, this child became Wang Shik’s brother, named Dong Shik. Wang Shik helped Yu Ra to take care of Dong Shik over the years, while she focuses on her career in palace. Wang Shik mother saw Yu Ra has an affair with the emperor. She wanted to inform Wang Shik about it. However, she has been stabbed by Yu Ra. Later, she was being hit by a car drove by Lee Hyuk (when he was looking for Yu Ra after awake). Yu Ra witnessed about it. He quickly brought her into his car when he heard Wang Shik was looking for his mother. When Wang Shik was about it catches up the car, he saw the blood on the floor and a broken logo. He followed the car until he reached the vacation house. He realised that that was the car belongs to the Emperor. He was certain about it. He lodged a police report about the incident. However, the CCTV footage has been erased by the Ma Pil Joo (instructed by the emperor). Pil Joo threatened Yu Ra for stabbing Wang Shik mother before the emperor hit her by the car. Yu Ra offered Pil Joo handsome money for erasing her footage too.

Emperor told Yu Ra about what had happened. Yu Ra pretended that she did not know what was going on earlier. She told the emperor to visit Oh Sunny at the musical theatre in order to create alibi to cover up his present in Bicheno.  Yu Ra also overheard what the emperor told Pil Joo to get rid of her. She wrote her will and made a record (she admitted that she was the one who involved in hit-and-run incident). She tried to make a scene to kill herself as to gain trust from Emperor to believe her. Emperor came to the scene and rescued her.

Empress Dowager received a call from the police station about what had happened in Bicheno. She asked the emperor about it. He denied. Wang Shik tried to get as much evidences as possible but the police ignored him. Lee Hyuk asked Pil Joo to approach Wang Shik and get the only evident from him. He also instructed Pil Joon to get rid of Wang Shik. He shot him on his head and fell into the ocean.  Wang Shik has been rescued by Byun Baek-ho (Empress So Hyun’s father). He trained him for becoming the palace guard so that he can get his revenge. Baek Ho created a new identity for Wang Shik. He was now named as Chun Woo Bin. He passed the test and interview from the Emperor. Lee Hyuk trusted him and wanted him to become his personal trainer. He treasured him a lot. He also promoted him to be the Chief Guard in a short period of time.

Empress Dowager dislikes Yu Ra because she felt that this woman is not an ordinary person, she has an evil intention for the imperial family. She tried to stop Yu Ra from becoming the Empress. She found the evidence that Yu Ra admitted about her involvement in hit-and-run incident. She threatened the Emperor to make Oh Sunny as his empress in order to let go of Yu Ra. Due to the affection for Yu Ra, Emperor accepted the deal. During their wedding day, Lee Hyuk instructed Pil Joo to loosen the crane in order to kill Oh Sunny. Luckily, she has been rescued by Woo Bin.

The Emperor always ignored Sunny. He spent most of his time with Yu Ra. Grand Empress Dowager was curious about Yu Ra and Emperor. She went to his chamber. She was shocked about their relationship. Empress Dowager warned Sunny to be aware of her surrounding and tried to gain affection from the Emperor. Sunny relied on Yu Ra a lot. She asked her what the Emperor likes. Yu Ra told her about it. She followed what she said. The Emperor was anger. He scolded Sunny for copying someone. Sunny has no idea about it. She asked around the court lady and found out that Yu Ra was trying to frame her. Sunny asked Empress Dowager and Grand Empress Dowager for help. She used her power to prison Yu Ra for her wrongdoings.  Lee Hyuk knew about it and released Yu Ra at once. Sunny and Woo Bin also saw Yu Ra seduced the Emperor when she saw them at the cruise. She was sad about it. She rescued a woman who tried to jump off the bridge to end her life. The woman told her that she wanted to suicide because her husband betrayed her. She consoled the woman and advised her to trust her husband one more time. The next morning, Sunny went to emperor’s chamber and asked him his whereabouts. Emperor deceived her. Sunny was anger but in order to maintain her dignity, she has to remain calm.

Yu Ra and Pil Joo cannot find Wang Shik’s corpse. They believed that he was still alive. Pil Joo found out that Woo Bin was actually Wang Shik.  Before Woo Bin killed him, he told him the whole incident happened in Bicheno.  Woo Bin created a scene to show that Wang Shik has been killed during the car accident when he was trying to kill the emperor. Yu Ra confirmed the accident and relieved that Wang Shik was dead.

Lee Hyuk and Yu Ra framed Sunny for having affair with Woo Bin. They took pictures of them.  Sunny felt betrayed. She was also being pushed off the cliff by Woo Bin (instructed by emperor) in order to end her life. Sunny was being rescued by Baek-ho. Baek Ho told her about Empress So Hyun’s death. Sunny was surprised and she started to investigate the case as it was similar to what she went through. She asked everyone in the palace regarding the Empress So Hyun’s death. Grand Empress Dowager listened to Sunny. She wrote a letter to the imperial auditor to investigate the case. She also kept the evident in the envelope and passed it to Ms Hong. Sunny was being accused for murdering Grand Empress Dowager.  It was the idea of Lee Hyuk, Empress Dowager and Yu Ra. Ms Hong, Woo Bin and Baek Ho helped Sunny to clear her name. Sunny also managed to collect the evidence that against Lee Hyuk.  It recorded the secret that Princess Ari was the daughter of Emperor (mother was the court lady, Kang Hee).  The Emperor decided to divorce Sunny, but Sunny returned to the palace again. She wanted to collect more evidences regarding the death of Empress So Hyun and Grand Empress Dowager.

Kang Hee took the envelope from Ms Hong and handed to Empress Dowager in order to gain her trust. Yu Ra was jealous about Kang Hee. She learnt that the Emperor spent time with Kang Hee instead of her. She had a fight with Kang Hee, but being stopped by Empress Dowager. Since the news regarding Princess Ari has been spread nationwide, the imperial family hold an installation ceremony for Princess Ari. Sunny was then become the mother of Princess Ari. Sunny started a live channel every day for recording her daily life in palace. As to clear Sunny’s name for murdering, Ms Hong admitted to the prosecutor that she was the one who kill the Grand Empress Dowager.

Yu Ra kept checking on Woo Bin because she suspected his identity. She wanted to confirm that whether he was Wang Shik. He asked someone to hit Woo Bin’s head. He was seriously injured. He was sent to the hospital for treatment. Sunny contacted Baek Ho. He told Sunny that Woo Bin was actually Wang Shik. He has a bullet in his brain. She looked for him as he saved her life when she was drowned in the pond. She wanted to thank him. At the same time, she was sorry to him because she was the alibi for Emperor when he killed his mother. She asked the doctor (one of the gangs of Baek Ho) to remove the bullet for him.  Woo Bin did not want to. Yu Ra has taken Dong Shik away. He went out and looked for Dong Shik. Luckily, nothing serious was happened. Dong Shik was then taken care by Sunny’s family for the sake of his safety.

Woo Bin sent the voice recording to the emperor to show that Yu Ra deceived him about Wang Shik. He felt being fooled by Yu Ra. He took her into the car and burnt it. However, he changed his mind. He tortured her in the mental hospital. Thanks to the advice from Woo Bin. Yu Ra was then being expelled from the palace.

Kang Hee was happy that Yu Ra has been expelled. Her intention was to make the Princess Ari reinstated as Emperor’s daughter so that she can inheritance the assets of Emperor. She cooperated with the Prime Minister in order to pass the law for allowing female to be the King of the nation.

Lee Yoon was the Crown Prince. He was also a writer named Vincent Lee.  He came back to South Korea. Empress Dowager was looking for him. He worked part time at Sunny’s father chicken shop. Sunny’s sister Oh Hel Ro was looking for Vincent Lee to hold a book signature event in order to celebrate the anniversary of the shopping mall (Shopping mall was run by the Princess So Jin – elder sister of Lee Hyuk). Lee Yoon revealed to Hel Ro that he was Vincent Lee and asked her to go for the signature event in his place.  Hel Ro was curious about him. Lee Hyuk was afraid of him that Lee Yoon might steal the throne from him. Lee Yoon witnessed the incident happened to Empress So Hyun. He kept Empress So Hyun dairy for 7 years. He knew that there was something fishy in the dairy, but it was all pictures. He has no idea what is the message that she was trying to convey.  He let Baek Ho read through in order to find the evident. Later, he passed it to Sunny to find out what Empress So Hyun dairy about.

Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager heard the will of Grand Empress Dowager. Most of her assets were under the name of Sunny instead of them.  Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager do not have any allocation of assets in the will. They fabricated the will. Sunny received paint from Grand Empress Dowager. She was surprised that it was the same drawing as the Empress So Hyun’s dairy painting. She looked the surrounding of the palace and finally found a secret room in Empress Dowager’s garden. A court lady was kept in there. She was the witness who saw the real murder for Grand Empress Dowager. Woo Bin and Sunny quickly brought her to a safe place. Lee Hyuk asked Woo Bin to get closer to Sunny so that they can expel Sunny from the palace.

Lee Hyuk started to grow more affection toward Sunny. He was jealous when Woo Bin hugged her. With the presence of all the family member of Imperial family, Sunny revealed the evident happened during the death of Grand Empress Dowager. They were surprised that Yu Ra also came by and pointed out that Emperor Dowager was the murder. Sunny asked Woo Bin why Yu Ra was there to help her. He told her that the Emperor was trying to drag the Empress Dowager down by using Yu Ra. Empress Dowager asked the Emperor was has happened during the day Grand Empress Dowager passed away. She told him that she witnessed him for trying to kill his grandmother. Empress Dowager threatened the Emperor to work together with her in order to expel Sunny from the palace.

Kang Hee complains to the Emperor that Sunny hit her daughter. The Emperor ignored her and told her that he regretted for touching her 7 years ago and she will never be his woman. Kang Hee was unhappy about it. She also witnessed the Emperor who was trying to kill Grand Empress Dowager with a hairpin. Emperor received a voice call from Wang Shik. He asked the Emperor about his mother corpse whereabouts. Emperor told him that Yu Ra was the one who get rid of the corpse. Yu Ra at first did not reveal where the corpse is because she did not want to become unworthy for the Emperor. Under the pressure of Woo Bin, Yu Ra finally told Woo Bin about where is his mother’s corpse is.

Lee Hyuk was jealous about Woo Bin and Sunny. He tried his best to gain Sunny attention. Lee Yoon coincidently knew about the death of Sunny’s mother. Her mother’s blood type is rare and she has the same blood type with Emperor. 10 years ago, the Emperor met an accident and needed this type of blood. At that time, only 1 bag of blood available. It was meant for Sunny’s mother. However, the Empress Dowager insisted to have that blood for her son. Thus, Sunny’s mother was passed away. Lee Yoon told Empress Dowager and Emperor about it. The Emperor felt sorry for Sunny.

Sunny found the secret in the Empress Dowager’s garden. She suspected that something is going on with the Chungeum island that the Empress Dowager want it badly. Empress Dowager wanted to expel her from the palace. She and Kang Hee worked together and planed for something. They put a bomb in an antic clock while Sunny was holding an auction event. Luckily Woo Bin managed to saved her from getting hurt. Sunny’s father against the relationship between Hel Ro and Lee Yoon. He felt that his daughter did not match with him. Empress Dowager was investigating the novel that Hel Ro wrote about the life in palace.

Sunny’s dad punched the Lee Hyuk and Hel Ro throw garbage in the Empress Dowager’s chamber as a warning not to hurt Sunny. Empress Dowager locked them up in the cell. Emperor asked to release them in order to avoid further complication. Kang Hee reported to the Imperial Auditor regarding Sunny for whipping Princess Ari. Lee Yoon hold a press conference for the doctor to reveal the truth regarding the blood transfusion for the Emperor and the cause of the death of Sunny’s mother. Empress Dowager ordered the doctor to kill himself before he attended the press conference. Lee Yoon knew that it was his mother’s doing. He told Sunny about it. She was very sad to hear that. She swore on the Emperor that he will deserve a punishment. Lee Hyuk has been mentally tortured by Woo Bin due to the case of Wang Shik. He kept appearing and caused troubles for Emperor. Chief Joon was alive, thanks to Yu Ra. Yu Ra asked to look for Empress Dowager and offered a deal to catch Na Wang Shik.

Empress Dowager arranged a study mate for Princess Ari. She disliked them. She witnessed their bad attitude and disapproved them for being her study mate. Sunny baked cookies for Princess Ari. The cookies have been exchange with peanut on it. Princess Ari was allergic to peanut. She ate a little and then passed out. Kang Hee was anger because Empress Dowager was using Princess Ari to expel Sunny. She threatened her to reveal the truth about Empress So Hyun’s death. She told the Emperor about it. He was sad and angrily about what his mother has done. He tried his best to protect Sunny. Kang Hee knew that Sunny is innocent because she met her in the kitchen while Sunny was baking the cookies. It was in the shape of bear and not in the shape of kitty. Lee Hyuk apologised to Sunny about the blood transfusion for him instead of her mother.

Kang Joo Seong was Yu Ra first lover. She was pregnant with his son (Dong Shik). Joon Seong was a palace guard and who was also a good friend for Empress So Hyun. Lee Hyuk kept him in mental hospital hoping that he can recall what is happening in the past. Yu Ra has been escaped from the mental hospital with the help of Chief Joon.  Woo Bin tried his best to trace them down.  Empress Dowager held a reader event for Hel Ro in order to make her look bad for pretending to be Vincent Lee. Luckily with the help of Lee Yoon and Sunny, they managed to turn the focus on the incident happened on Empress So Hyun. The Emperor and Empress Dowager were shocked about it when Sunny asked the Emperor to read part of the novel in front of the reporters.

Baek Ho and Lee Yoon came to the scene and questioned Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager regarding the truth behind the death of Empress So Hyun. Hel Ro was surprised to know about Lee Yoon true identity. She was frustrated and wanted to break up with him. After listening to Lee Yoon explanation, she accepted his apologies and got back to him.

Imperial Auditor began to investigate the case. Empress Dowager decided to take down the Emperor. She allowed Yu Ra to enter the palace and become her court lady. Everyone was shocked to see Yu Ra back in palace. Sunny asked Lee Hyuk many times regarding the death of Empress So Hyun. He blamed Empress Dowager for making a fuss between him and Empress So Hyun. Sunny asked Lee Hyuk to read up the novel written by Lee Yoon. Lee Hyuk thought that the corpse of Empress So Hyun has been cremated. But, according to Lee Yoon, the corpse has been buried in the palace with the blue sapphire jewellery on it. The Imperial Auditor dig one of the palace and found the corpse.

Empress Dowager gave a false statement that Empress So Hyun had an affair with a palace guard Kang Joo Seong. Yu Ra did not believe it. She was curious about what the imperial family had done to him. Empress Dowager met Kang Hee. She offered her to give a false statement to the prosecutor about Lee Hyuk killed Empress So Hyun. In return, she is going to give princess Ari to become the Empress Regnant. Kang Hee was happy about it and told Princess Ari this good news. Sunny found out that Woo Bin and her pictures was in Kang Hee’s room. Sunny lied to her that Yu Ra found them for her. Kang Hee was then had a fight with Yu Ra.

Yu Ra found Dong Shik and brought him into the palace. Dong Shik was afraid of her. Baek Ho was once told him that he has to pretend not to know Wang Shik when they were outside. Dong Shik saw Wang Shik in the palace, but he pretended that he did not know him when Yu Ra asked him who was Wang Shik in the palace. Yu Ra kept him in the room and did not allow anyone to enter the room. Sunny helped Wang Shik by causing a scene for the Yu Ra to lose focus. Wang Shik managed to sneaked into Dong Shik’s room. Wang Shik was nearly being caught by Yu Ra. Yu Ra noticed that Dong Shik has a badge that was meant for Chief Palace Guard. She suspected that Woo Bin was actually Wang Shik. She asked Chief Joon to investigate Woo Bin’s background.

Woo Bin had a nose bleed. He was informed by the doctor that his condition is bad. He only can live up to 3 month or less. Woo Bin was worried about Sunny. He therefore taught Sunny self-defence technique so that she can protect herself even when he is not around.

Princess Ari told Sunny about the good news. She was told her about the change of will. Sunny suspected something fishy is going on. She met Empress Dowager and warned her about the fabricated will. Empress Dowager was anger. She met Woo Bin and asked him to create a scandal to run away with Sunny. Woo Bin told Sunny about it. Sunny asked Woo Bin to informed Lee Hyuk. Three of them worked together to fool Empress Dowager. Empress Dowager was embarrassed when she realised that she was in a live broadcast that she was planning on scheming Sunny for running away with palace guard.

Empress Dowager has to do community service for 200hours as a punishment for her wrongdoings. Sunny’s dad, Hel Ro and public monitored her to ensure that she has done the job. Lee Yoon has been attacked by Kang Hee when he found out that Kang Hee was the culprit for killing Empress So Hyun. He has been hospitalised. Sunny at first suspected that Lee Hyuk was the one who attacked Lee Hyuk because she found the evident that belongs to him. But she suspected Kang Hee more. She went to her chamber to look for her. Princess Ari lied to Sunny that she has been nursing Kang Hee all day.

Lee Hyuk and Empress Dowager caught Woo Bin for deceiving his identity. They threatened him with Dong Shik’s safety. Woo Bin’s colleague helped him to escape from the palace together with Dong Shik. Lee Hyuk later has been captured by Woo Bin. He taught him a lesson. Lee Hyuk jumped off the cliff. He has been founded by public. He went back to the palace safe and sound.

Due to the missing Emperor and coma Crown Prince, Princess Ari has been installed as the Crown Princess. However, she needed a legal guardian proxy due to her young age. The Imperial auditor appointed Empress Eun (who was the deposed Empress for Lee Hyuk’s dad) to assist the process of choosing the right guardian for Princess Ari. Empress Dowager did not want her to involve in imperial family. She ordered someone to get rid of Empress Eun. Luckily, Woo Bin rescued her. Empress Eun brought Woo Bin back to palace as special auditor. Everyone was shocked about the news. Empress Dowager and Kang Hee argued with one another regarding giving up the opportunity to become the guardian proxy for Princess Ari. Princess Ari was upset and she did not want both of them to become her guardian. Empress Eun decided to choose Sunny as her guardian after considering all the related issue.

Sunny set a trap for Kang Hee so that she can revealled her identity for trying to kill Lee Yoon. Sunny asked a court lady to inform Kang Hee that they had found his handphone with the evident that regarding culprit who kill Empress So Hyun. Empress Dowager protected Kang Hee when Sunny and Emperor interrogated her. It was Empress Dowager who ordered Kang Hee to stop Lee Yoon from entering Imperial record room. Princess Ari could not dare to see Sunny taken away by Empress Dowager to the cell. She informed Emperor about it. Emperor asked the guard to release her at once. Princess Ari also told the truth about the day when Lee Yoon has been attacked.

Emperor found out that Sunny has secretly collected the evidences for the death of Grand Empress Dowager and Empress So Hyun. He destroyed all the evidences in front of Sunny. He did that in order to protect Sunny because he did not want her to follow the path of Empress So Hyun who went against Empress Dowager. However, Sunny did not give up.

Sunny found out that the hairpin in Grand Empress Dowager’s chamber was belongs to Empress Dowager. She entered the imperial record room. She looked into Grand Empress Dowager’s belongings. She found a letter left by her. She read the letter. It was the last will from Grand Empress Dowager. Grand Empress Dowager killed herself with poison and hairpin.

Sunny was curious about Chungeum Island because Empress Dowager was obsessed with it. Joo Seong has been captured by Kang Hee. After Joo Seong told her about Chungeum Island she tried to poison him. Fortunately, Sunny, Yu Ra and Woo Bin found his whereabouts. They rescued him. Joo Seung told them about the island. They went to the island for a look. They found out that there are many poppies plants there. Since Sunny was the legal proxy for Princess Ari, she ordered Kang Hee to be in the prison. She also wants to reveal the truth during the 10 anniversaries of Emperor Regine. Lee Hyuk locked her up in the room. He wanted to protect Sunny from being hurt by his mother.

Lee Hyuk and Lee Yoon caught Kang Hee for trying to murder Crown Prince and also Joo Seung. Kang Hee denied that. She told them that she was being ordered by the Empress Dowager. Empress Dowager threatened Lee Hyuk for murdering Empress So Hyun. Lee Hyuk gave his mother a chance to destroy the poppies field. His mother insisted not to shut down the poppies field.

During the 10^th anniversaries event, Yu Ra and Baek Ho rescued Sunny from locked up. She managed to reach the event. Sunny, Joo Seung, Lee Yoon, Hel Ro and Sunny’s dad revealed the ugly side of the Imperial family to the media. Everyone was shocked about it. However, Yu Ra found something amiss. She saw the man who sexually abused her 7 years ago. She informed Baek Ho about it.  The man worked for the Empress Dowager, has set bombs during the event. Woo Bin has been attacked and captured by the man. He was then died from bomb during the event. They were too late to realise it. When Sunny was trying to take Lee Hyuk out from the event, she has been hit by the object hardly. Lee Hyuk gained his conscientious and took her out from the scene. He brought her to the hospital for treatment. Lee Hyuk was so touched that Wang Shik hugged the bomb to avoid bigger explosion happened. He is willing to sacrifice himself for the people. Lee Hyuk decided to pretend to be Wang Shik. He covered himself with bandage and penetrated into Chungeum Island. He saw the clinical lab has been carried out. He has been noticed by one of the man. The man informed Empress Dowager about it.

Empress Dowager decided to go to Chungeum Island herself to resolve the issue. Sunny was confused to hear that Wang Shik as passed away from Baek Ho. She thought Wang Shik took his own revenge by his own way. She quickly went to Chungeum Island with Baek Ho. She was unable to stop the tragic that Empress Dowager killed her own son. Empress Dowager did not know until she opened up the bandage. She was shocked. Her bodyguard escorted her out from the island. Lee Hyuk thanked and apologised to Sunny for what he had done for her before he passed away.

Empress Dowager gathered all her valuable items and asked Princess to flee with them. Kang Hee escaped from the prison and went to Empress Dowager’s chamber. They blamed each other fault. When they came out from the chamber, they were shocked to see all the reporters surround them. Sunny brought the detective as well. Kang Hee, Empress Dowager were caught at the scene. They were convicted to execute.

After a year, the imperial family has been abolished. Everyone was no longer holding the authority as the imperial family. They live an ordinary life as a people in the nation. Sunny takes care of Princess Ari. Princess Ari forgot about Kang Hee due to high fever and fainted frequently after hearing the bad news about the imperial family. Yu Ra became insane after the man hit her head when she destroyed the only antidote. She was reunited with Joo Seung and Dong Shik.

This drama is very fascinating because it creates a lot of climaxes for the viewers. There is also many suspense to guess who is the real murderer for Empress So Hyun and Great Empress Dowager. I like the overall drama. I can say that it was the best best drama that I ever watched for 2018. It consists of many elements, such as romance, comedy, investigation, politics and so on.  I also like the spirit of Sunny who are determined to find out the truth even though she faced a lot of challenges.

[Review] My Strange Hero

When Kang Bok-Su was a high school student, he was falsely accused of committing violence and kicked out of school. This was caused by his first love Son Soo-Jeong and a male student Oh Se-Ho.

Kang Bok-Su is a now an adult. He ran a company named “Your Request”. This company will do anything for the client request. This company operated together with his fellow friends who know each other since high school. However, his life has not gone smoothly. He happened to save Son Jeong when he saw someone jump off the bridge into the sea. Son Jeong was trying to bribe in order to obtain a full-time job as a teacher. However, she has been cheated. Bok Su looked for the one who cheated her and asked him to apologise to her. Son Jeong knew it was Bok Su, she did not thank him in fact she insulted him. The environment at the school has changed. Oh Se-Ho became the Chairman of the school. He invited Bok Su to come back to the school due to his popularity for saving Son Jeong. To get revenge on Son Soo-Jeong and Oh Se-Ho, he returns to the same high school as a student.

Soo Jeong has become the full-time teacher. She was happy but at the same time she was surprised that she was assigned to became the houseroom for Wildflower Class. She has to teach Kang Bok-Su in that class. Wildflower class was the class for those troublemakers in the school. He was surprised to know that his nephew was in the same class as him. There are students who bullied him. He could not withstand but to keep their relationship in secret. He was disappointed with his nephew because he was the only hope that his sister has for him. What happened in 9 years ago was Se Ho jumped off from the rooftop of the building. Bok Su tried to save him, but he pushed away his hand and said, “Save me”. Son Jeong heard Se Ho bragging him and thought that Bok Su really pushed Se Ho off the rooftop.

Young Min who was always being bullied in the top class. He even tried to commit suicide because he was too stress to attend the school. He again locked himself in the study shelf. Everyone was worried about him. Bok Su smashed the glass and talked to him. Young Min was glad that someone was worried about him and he was motivated by the Bok Su. Due this case, Bok Su faced disciplinary action. The parents committee of the school decided to expel Bok Su from the school. Son Jeong who is the houseroom teacher also supported the parents’ decision.

During the interrogation between the parents committee, teachers and student, Son Jeong stand up for Bok Su and she will take responsibility of all the problem caused by him. She risked her career in order to allow Bok Su to continue stay at the school. Bok Su has to do voluntary job as a punishment. He started to confused why she willing to did that to him. He started to query whether she still has feeling for him. Bok Su’s friend, Min Ji worked at the canteen cafeteria. She took care of Bok Su’s meal and she was jealous of Son Jeong who still bothering him. She kept close to him and told Son Jeong that she was his girlfriend. Young Min got transferred to Wildflower class. He was happy. Son Jeong was surprised to see him at that class and felt that he should not belongs there. Young Min did not mind study at that class. He was glad to have a friend like Bok Su.

Seong Woo was absent from the class for a few days. Son Jeong was worried about him. She asked his friends to find where is he. She found that he was working at the bar. Bok Su came to the bar as well because he knew he was working at there too. They saw the student demanding for the balance wages from the owner. Son Jeong and Bok Su talked to the owner and finally, he willing to pay the student the balance wages.

Se Ho felt heartbroken when his mother looked down at him. He was jealous that Bok Su’s mother who treated him kindly and friendly. Bok Su sneaked into Se Ho’s office and found out that he kept Son Jeong’s portrait inside one of the files. Bok Su realised that he had feeling for Son Jeong, that’s why he framed him for murder. Se Ho invited Bok Su for a fight at the school gym. When Bok Su caused Se Ho injury, Son Jeong just came in and saw the incident. She asked him to stop the fight and apologise to Se Ho. Bok Su was upset and asked her why she did not ask him what had happened for now and in the past.

Bok Su felt that Son Jeong do not believed him. He therefore skipped classes for 2 days. Son Jeong came to meet him. They talked about their past. They finally cleared their misunderstanding. Bok Su knew that Se Ho was the one who spread the humours about Son Jeong family background. He did not tell her about it. Se Ho confessed his feeling to Son Jeong. She rejected him. She questioned Se Ho why he lied to her that Bok Su was the one who spread the humours causing her misunderstood him.

Bok Su and Son Jeong started their date. Son Jeong accepted him as his boyfriend. However, Se Ho was not happy about it. He invited Kim Myung Ho to school and continued teaching there. This has become a threat to Son Jeong, because she tried to bribe so that she can land a full-time job. Bok Su’s nephew has been caught by his sister when she found out that his nephew lied to her about his result. His sister was upset at first because she has high hope on her son. Later, she embraces his son to do well in school and not pressuring him anymore.

The school held a debate contest. Bok Su, Yong Min and Seong Woo joined the contest without his willingness. He asked his friend to conduct an investigation on the school. They found out that the parents from Ivy class paid a huge sum of money to hold the contest. They also already decided who was the winner for the contest. The students from Ivy class already have the answers for the debate contest. During the debate, students from Ivy class were looking down on Wildflower class. It is because they have the answer and they just read the answer sheet. In the end, Wildflower class become the winner. The students from Ivy class was unsatisfied. Se Ho heard about the news. He instructed the teacher to punish the judge, Mr Park for the debate. They amended the debate contest result and made announcement about the misjudgement of the judge. Son Jeong as a homeroom teacher, went to meet the Se Ho. They have an argument and Se Ho threatened her with her job. She was not afraid of it as she wanted to protect the kids in Wildflower. Se Ho wanted to transfer the students from Wildflower to other school. He cooperated with other school and offered to support them. Bok Su introduced Son Jeong as his girlfriend to his friend. It was an awkward situation because Min Ji was in love with Bok Su but he ignored her feeling. He apologised to her. 

Bok Su and Son Jeong relationship has been noticed by Seong Woo. He tried to be nice to him so that he did not spread the news to the whole school.  Se Ho intended to transfer Wildflower students to other school. The students did not want to be transferred. Bok Su promised Se Ho that they will study hard to push the average grade in the class higher. Although many of the teachers already give up on them, Bok Su did not give up. Se Ho talked to the parents about the transferring their child to other school.  They have been persuaded by Se Ho. Bok Su told the class about studying hard in order to stay at the school. His classmate at first, they don’t have the will to study. When the parents talked to their children, the children did not want to be transferred. They also did not want to be looked down by the Top students and everyone in the school. Every day after class, they went to Bok Su house to study. During the exam, everyone was determined to answer the exam. When the result came out, everyone was shocked. Seong Woo scored the highest in the school. He even beat the top student in Ivy class. The teacher denied the result and announced it as void. It is unfair for the students in Wildflower class. Mr Park knew about the corruption in school after visiting his old students in their office. He was shocked to see the evidences presented by Bok Su. He made a complaint to the education committee but failed. He continued to held protest in front of the school. Se Ho came to see him and asked him to resign. It is because they took picture of him and Bok Su while they are having discussion on the school’s corruption. Se Ho accused him for revealing the exam to Wildflower student. He did not want to trouble Bok Su. He signed the resignation letter and left the school. Bok Su and Son Jeong was upset about it.

Test replacement was held. And once again Seong Woo still scored the highest score. Chae Min (student from Ivy class) was unsatisfied and felt ashamed of himself. His mother pressured him to be the top students of the school. She even corrupted the principal of the school to give the questions and answers for the final exam. Chae Min wanted to study hard by his own but he has no choice in order to be the top student, he has to score perfectly.

Bok Su’s friend found an evidence that Son Jeong was on the list of corruption teachers. Son Jeong was upset about it. She spoke to Se Ho. Se Ho threatened Son Jeong for dating with student and also corruption for the position. Son Jeong decided to break up with Bok Su in order to protect him. Bok Su and his friends found many evidences regarding the school. They planned to reveal the news to the public. But the only thing that they missed was a witness. Son Jeong willing to be the witness. Before the exam, they took a video about a teacher was leaking the question to the student. After the exam, they took a live video and many people viewed it. Se Ho’s mother put all the blames to the principal. Bok Su and Son Jeong was shock about it. Chae Min scored full marks in final exam. Son Jeong wanted to test Chae Min whether he memorized the answer of the exam. She purposely amended the answer sheet. Many students found the answer for the question was wrong. They are surprised that Chae Min scored full marks for it. Even the teachers doubt about it. Chae Min felt pressured and he did not want to go to school. His mother forced him to go to school. Chae Min had a fight with his classmate when they questioned him for paying for the exam. Chae Min went to the roof top of the school. Bok Su, Se Ho and Son Jeong chased after him. Chae Min wanted to jump off the building and Se Ho encouraged him instead of stopping him. At last, Chae Min has been persuaded not to jump off the building.

Se Ho realised his mistake. He found all the evidence that against his mother for embezzlement of school fund for personal used. He handled those evidences to Bok Su in order for them to present it to the school committee auditor. It turned out that Mr Park was the audit committee. Se Ho at the same time hold a press conference by admitting that he was lying about the incident happened in the past. He cleared Bok Su’s name for being a murder. Se Ho’s mother was frustrated because all the evidences are pointed to her. She threatened Se Ho by closing down the school so that Se Ho did not go against her. His mother wanted him to take all the blame for corruption case. Se Ho has no choice but follow her instruction. Se Ho was then being taken by the prosecutor for corruption case in school. Luckily, Bok Su managed to stop him from giving false statement to them. The teachers and parents as well as the students held a demonstration in front of the school. They did not want the school to close down. The prosecutor came by and took her away for investigation. Due to nation petition against the closure of the school, the school will run as usual. Se Ho’s mother was arrested for her wrongdoings. Se Ho looked for Mr Park and asked him to become the principal of the school. He agreed with it. One year later Bok Su finally graduated from high school. A few years later, Bok Su become the teacher. Son Jeong also reapplied for teacher position although she failed several times. She finally made it. Se Ho’s mother released from prison. Se Ho visited her and advised her to change for good. Bok Su and Son Jeong work in the same school.

In the beginning, I thought that Bok Su was going to revenge against Son Jeong and Se Ho. It is not. He was going to reveal the school corruption system and discrimination against the students with poor grades. The overall drama is average. Nothing special about the drama. However, it gives a great lesson to the society that not to judge people by its cover. Not to look down on people with poor grades, spread love to the society, and help those who are in need.

Jang Seon Kyuk owned a cleaning company – Cleaning Fairy. He is a germ-phobia person. He likes to keep clean. Due to his perseverance and obsession about the cleanliness, his company was able to generate nearly 10 million dollar per year. He has a nanny who has passed away 5 years ago. He then named his vacuum cleaner the same name as his nanny Geum Ja. One day, when his mother came and visited him, she forgot to close the door. The vacuum cleaner went far away and stuck at the trash.

Gil O Sol was unemployed. She failed to land a proper job after sending the resumes. She has a father and a little brother. She wanted to find a job in order to pay off her student loan and support her family expenses. She found the vacuum cleaner at the trash. She looked at it and found it very new. She put it in her bag and brought it home.

Seon Kyuk looked into the CCTV and knew that someone has taken his vacuum cleaner. He decided to rewards the person who returned his vacuum cleaner to him. O Dol (O Sol’s brother) saw the poster. He made a call to Seon Kyuk in order to receive the rewards from him.  Mr Choi was a guy that rent a house with O Sol’s father.

Due her father fell ill, O Sol replaced on her father place to collect the trash. She was unfortunate that she met her first lover there. She did not want to let him recognised her. She wore the horse mask and dragged the trash bin all over the city. Her first lover and his friend chased her along with others as they found it funny and hilarious. Many of them took video of the incident. She suddenly hit into Seon Kyuk’s car. He could not stand her wore a mask without speaking properly to him. He took off the mask. Her first lover saw her and she was so embarrassed. She quickly went home.

O Sol was admired her first lover. When the first lover invited her out, she thought that he has feeling for her. She bought an expensive underwear as a gift for him She later found that her first lover was actually using her for modelling. She was so upset. Seon Kyuk saw the incident and he punished him by spraying the defection spray all over him. O Sol returned the vacuum cleaner to him. She forgot that there is a box that contained men’s underwear with a card. O Sol invited Seon Kyuk out in order to explain to him. He returned the pink underwent to her and told her that her taste for buying underwear was suck. She did not bother him anyway.

O Sol’s father was suddenly being terminated as a contract worker. He was sad and drunk all alone. At first, O Sol wanted to borrow money from her father in order to pay back the compensation of 3,500 dollar to Seon Kyuk. She saw her father hanging a cardboard regarding his sudden termination. She decided to continue to find a proper job to pay back him. After going through the physical tests, she finally found a job at cleaning fairy. She was shocked to see Seon Kyuk who was the CEO there.During the first day of working in cleaning company, she tried to make friends with the seniors there. She encountered a bad employee in another company who looking down at O Sol. She found it unfair but she did not want to cause trouble during the first day of work. She was apologised to the employee. Seon Kyuk overheard their conversation and protected O Sol from being insulted by the employee. He even asked that employee to clean up their own trash. Mr Choi acted a fortune teller. O Sol asked him whether she has a boyfriend in future. He told her that her boyfriend was at northeast. She started to find the direction and it was Seon Kyuk. During the orientation night for the new comer, Seon Kyuk invited his employees for the dinner party. O Sol was drunk and there were two guys who tried to bring her home. Seon Kyuk worried about her safety and therefore, he brought her home by himself. Before she entered her home, they met her ex-lover. The ex-lover and Seon Kyuk dragged O Sol hands. Luckily, O Dol and Mr Choi came over. Seon Kyuk handed O Sol to O Dol and left the neighbourhood. In return, O Sol gave him Sundae (intestine). He was very angry towards O Sol. After woke up the next morning, she recalled what she did yesterday. She apologised to him. Her ex-lover kept calling for her. She met him and asked him not to bother her anymore and told him that her boyfriend was her boss. The next day ex-lover saw her wore the uniform of the cleaning company and made fun of her. Seon Kyuk at the same time came over to O Sol. She asked him to pretend to be her boyfriend, but he refused. She then kissed him in front of her ex-lover. She did not tell her dad and brother about her workplace as her father disagreed that she worked in the cleaning company.             

After kissing Seon Kyuk, he fainted. His disease became more serious. His secretary worried about him. Thus, she found a doctor for him. Seon Kyuk was very particular with cleaning. When O Sol dressed untidy or there was dirt on her mouth, Seon Kyuk could not accept it. He then consulted his doctor on how to cure his disease. O Sol’s mom death anniversary has come. She kept the house clean. She wore make up and wore beautifully to work. It was a tradition for the family to do so. Seon Kyuk fired O Sol when she broken his client expensive toy. He thought that O Sol was trying to seduce the male which really insulted her. His secretary told him that day was the death anniversary for her mom. He felt so sorry for her and went to apologise to her. Mr Choi was secretly in love with O Sol when she gave him a yogurt six years ago. He placed a yogurt her mother cemetery. She wanted to find that person. Seon Kyuk apologised to O Sol and asked her to come to work the next day.

Seon Kyuk also found out that the client was the one who broke the toy and put the blame on his employee. He requested the client to apologise to his employee O Sol or else he will charge him. The client quickly apologised to O Sol about his mistake. While O Sol was cleaning at outdoor, she fell off the ladder. Seon Kyuk quickly hopped her and he was fine with that. He asked his doctor about it. He tried some tests whether is his disease has been cured. He tried to touch others’ belonging. He found himself that he was only fine to touch O Sol’s belongings. Everyone find Seon Kyuk‘s acting was strange.

Then, he kissed O Sol out of sudden. O Sol did not know why he acted in such a way. One day, O Sol was sent to clean a house. Seon Kyuk found out that that owner of the house has committed several crimes for sexual harassment. He quickly went to that place and punched the owner. Luckily O Sol was fine. She tried to talk to Seon Kyuk about it. Seon Kyuk had an argument with his mother over the matter that she kept changing boyfriend. He was not friendly to any of her boyfriend.  When O Sol tried to talk about their kiss, Seon Kyuk told her that he was not in the mood to talk about it and he also has no interest in starting a relationship. O Sol was hurt by the harsh words from him. O Sol’s father now worked as a car cleaner and he was happy about his new job.

O Sol talked to Mr Choi about their kisses. She then made up her mind that they are even because last time she kissed her without a reason too. The next day, she confronted Seon Kyuk and told him that she was not interested in him as well. Seon Kyuk was surprised. He apologised to O Sol about his harsh words. However, she was still angry that he tried to make fun of her feeling. He then told his secretary about it by using the name of other friends. Secretary suggested him to tell her his feeling. O Dol was told by his friend that O Sol has been working in cleaning company. He was not happy about. O Sol told him not to inform their dad and she was happy about her new job.

Mr Choi wore smart casual early in the morning. O Sol thought that he was going to confess to his secret lover. While she was cleaning in the hospital, she saw the doctor to go to visit Mr Choi before. She wanted to ask him something, later she found out that doctor was actually the patient. O Sol’s friend contacted her and asked her to come to her university. When she arrived there, she was surprised to see that Mr Choi was giving a speech in the hall. She only knew that he was the psychiatrist doctor. Seon Kyuk was also looking for O Sol in that university. He was surprised to see that Mr Choi confessed his feeling towards O Sol.

Seon Kyuk released that Dr Daniel was actually Mr Choi. They met with each other at the café and talked about O Sol. Seon Kyuk found he has feeling towards O Sol. His secretary asked O Sol to become his secretary for a day due to personal matter. Seon Kyuk has to meet a buyer at the airport. He hates going to airport. He had breathing difficulty when he encountered the crowed. O Sol helped him to overcome his weakness. It was actually his grandfather’s plan to observe his behaviour.  O Sol father found out that his daughter worked in the cleaning company. He asked her to quit her job at instant. She wanted to inform her boss about it but she told them that she was sick for a day. Seon Kyuk paid a visit to her house. He met her father. He talked to her father about how great he thinks about cleaning and also the potential of the company. He tried to persuade him in order to let O Sol to work at his company. At the same time, Seon Kyuk confessed his desire for her to stay by his side.

O Sol’s father finally accepted her decision and allowed her to work in the cleaning company. Her father also likes Seon Kyuk. O Sol met Mr Choi and told him that she loves someone else. He will always be a good friend for O Sol. One day, she has been accused for her wrongdoing by shredding the important document of the company. Seon Kyuk faced a difficult problem to deal with the company however he believed that she did not do it. His company’s reputation has been affected. Many of the customers cancelled their reservation from them. O Sol did not want to cause problem to the company. Therefore, she decided to resign.  O Sol’s dad has been bullied by the other car washer. O Dol beat them up. The university may cancel his admission due to this case. O Sol did not tell her dad about her resignation after the incident happened. The secretary met her at her part time workplace. She offered her to work as a live-in housekeeper for Seon Kyuk in order to cure his disease. In return, she will help to resolve the issue regarding her brother’s case. O Sol accepted the offer. She lied to her family and Mr Choi that she was going to transfer to Busan for the second branch opening.

Seon Kyuk was shocked to see O Sol at his house. At the same time, his mother also dropped by his house. Seon Kyuk was frustrated and asked all of them to leave his house. But, none of them was leaving. He was then left the house and stayed at the hotel for a night. He was not comfortable to stay at the five-star hotel because he was too particular to its cleanliness. He complaint to the receptionist and even asked his employees to clean the room for him. He was later being kicked out from the hotel. He later stayed at his office. O Sol looked for him at the office and persuaded him to come back home as his mother was worried about him. He came back with O Sol. He also allowed his mother to stay overnight at his house. His mother was impressed by O Sol.

Since O Sol stayed his house, he prepared the entire toiletry for O Sol. The secretary arranged a meeting for Seon Kyuk’s grandfather and O Sol. He told her that not to accept Seon Kyuk’s confession. Seon Kyuk wanted to confess to O Sol. He prepared a bunch of flowers and a gift for her. Before he said anything, O Sol told him that she was not interested in dating anyone. In the next day, he approached her and told her that he was going to make her fall for him. Mr Choi asked his secretary about the whereabouts of O Sol. He then came to Seon Kyuk’s house. Seon Kyuk was furious about it. He tried to chase him away, but failed. His mother asked O Sol to persuade him to attend the book event. He did not want to because he knew that his mother was planning for a blind date for him. He told O Sol about his feelings. But she ignored him. He then agreed to attend the book event in order to make her jealous. She was indeed upset when Seon Kyuk told her that he was going to the book event. After the event, there was a lot of news about the anchor and Seon Kyuk’s dating. Seon Kyuk was angry about it and asked the publisher to publish apology to him. He also tried to explain to O Sol about it, but O Sol did not show any feeling about. Seon Kyuk asked Mr Choi purpose of coming to his house. During the counselling session, Mr Choi told him that he has been dumped by O Sol that day itself. He was happy about it.

Seon Kyuk’s mother was shocked when his told his mother that he loved O Sol. Her mother asked her why she did not want to accept her son. She came to the conclusion that her father did not allow O Sol to date with her son. She warned her father do not involved in Seon Kyuk love life. Seon Kyuk’s mother held a party at his house. She told O Sol not to come home and not to pick up any call from him. O Sol then went back to her home. She lied to her family that she was on vacation. By the time Seon Kyuk came home, he was shocked to see a party held at his house. He had breathing difficulty and kept calling O Sol. O Sol was hesitate to pick up the call. Mr Choi asked her to pick up the call as it might seem urgent. When O Sol picked up the call, she realised something amiss. She went to his house with Mr Choi. She asked everyone in the party out from the house. They also found Seon Kyuk in the bathroom lying on the floor. O Sol stayed by his side and took care of him. Seon Kyuk woke up in the morning and hugged O Sol. O Sol also promised him that she will stay by his side all the time.They finally announced their relationship to their friends and family. Many people were happy for them. The secretary found out that O Sol’s mother died during the incident happened years ago. It was related to Seon Kyuk’s grandfather doings. She could not tell his grandfather and also O Sol about it, because she did not want to cause the couple apart because of the incident. O Sol find it embarrass to hang out with Seon Kyuk due to his personality and disease. She cared about his feelings and willing to date at home with him instead of going out.

O Sol asked Seon Kyuk to visit his mother. He visited his mother and told her about their relationship. His mother was surprised that they actually date at home instead of going out. Seon Kyuk felt sorry for O Sol. He planned an outgoing for her by watching a movie in theatre.  Seon Kyuk asked his employees to disinfect the whole theatre. O Sol knew about it. Seon Kyuk asked Mr Choi to cure his disease because he felt that he was abnormal compared to other couples. O Dol faced a one-year suspension from taekwondo. They overheard that O Dol suspension was due to AG Group. They also happened to know that Seon Kyuk was a family member of AG group who once caused the death of their mother. O Sol came to see Seon Kyuk and asked for break up. Seon Kyuk has no idea why O Sol did that to him.

O Dol came to Seon Kyuk and wanted to meet his grandfather. He only knew the reason why O Sol left him. He visited the redeveloped area that scarified many lives. One of them was O Sol’s mother. He told his grandfather not to mingle with his life. He also surprised to know that the biggest shareholder for his company was actually AG group. He was so disappointed that his secretary did not tell him about it. His grandfather wanted to dismiss him from being the CEO of Cleaning Fairy company. He was upset as that was the thing that he cherished the most.

His disease has been worsening. Mr Choi advised him and visited him, but he chased him out from his house. Seon Kyuk’s mother was worried about her son’s condition. She asked O Sol to meet him. She refused. Seon Kyuk met a car accident. O Sol came to visit him every day in the hospital, hopping that he can get well soon. Seon Kyuk was looking for O Sol after he awake. His grandfather wanted him to be the successor of AG group, but he refused. He advised his grandfather to apologise the victim’s family for his wrongdoings. O Sol applied for retrial for O Dol’s case so that he can continue to pursuit taekwondo.

Seon Kyuk quit his job. He met Mr Choi and willing to accept treatment in oversea. Seon Kyuk’s grandfather realised his mistake. He met O Sol’s family and apologised to them. He also held a press conference to seek for forgiveness from the victims. O Sol’s family accepted the apology from Seon Kyuk’s grandfather. O Sol went to the airport to look for Seon Kyuk but he has already left the country. 2 years later, Seon Kyuk came back to home country. They accidentally met each other. Seon Kyuk’s disease has been cured. He gathered all his ex-colleague and proposed them a new business plan for his new company. They were willing to work with him. Seon Kyuk wanted to start all over again with O Sol. Lastly, O Sol's family approved their relationship. She ran to the new company and met Seon Kyuk. They started dating again.
