[Review] Lawless Lawyer

Bong Sang Pil was the lawyer who tried to find the culprit who killed mother. He promised his mother that he would like to become a lawyer like his mother. His mother tried to protect him and asked to not to trust anyone in the Gisung and never came back there. His mother ordered him to stay with his uncle if anything happened to her. After 18 years, Sang Pil became a lawyer and learnt a lot of fighting skills from his uncle who was a thug. He came back to his hometown to revenge for his mother.

He hired Ha Jae-yi who was being suspended for punching the judge. The reason why he hired her is because her mother once saved his life from danger. He wanted to protect Jae Yi and payback what her mother had did for him. He was going to find the evidents that caused the death of his mother. He wanted to punished the thug and the judge Cha at all cost. He knew that the famous Judge in Gisung was the one who controls everything. He was looking into the crime that they committed. Jae Yi was impressed by the intelligence of Sang Pil and she was willing to help him to fight for their client by law. Sang Pil was a smart lawyer that he knew the loophole in the law and fight for his clients. Besides, he is also a good fighter who fight without any weapon.

Jae Yi treated Judge Cha as her mom. Sang Pil knew it and wanted to prove to her that whatever things that Judge Cha did was a lie. Jae Yi decided to found out the truth about her mother death. She asked Sang Pil’s uncle why he came to Kiseong and at the same time she also started to believe Sang Pil and supported him with the trial by finding evidence. Jae Yi knew that Judge Cha was the one who ordered someone to kill her mother. She could not accept the fact at first but eventually she has to. She wanted to tell her father about it and asked him not to support both Judge Cha and Mr Au for competing for Mayor position, but he failed to listen to her. Sang Pil also wanted to reveal the culprit who manipulated the evident and accused Mr Wu for murdering in order to get him out of the jail (he was one of the murderer who kidnapped Sang Pil and kill Jae Yi’s mother).

As the story go on, Jae Yi’s mom was still alive. She was ordered to live as a dead person and left the country for 18 years. She wanted to be with her family. Sang Pil’s uncle got to know the news from the Mr Wu (he released her and asked her to leave the country). But they kept is secret in order not to cause any more issue arose. Sang Pil managed to get Mr Wu out from the jail, however after he released from the jail, he has been caught and killed by Mr Au. Before he passed away, he passed his document to Jae Yi and Sang Pil so that they can used them to find evident to capture Mr Au. Sang Pil’s uncle was being called to Mr Au’s office and Mr Au threaten to put the blame on Sang Pil. They created a scene and accused Sang Pil for murdering his uncle. Judge Cha released the suspension period for Jae Yi. Thus, Jae Yi can now work as Attorney. She has a close relationship with Sang Pil. Her father disliked it. Judge Cha tried to influence her father to send her back to Seoul. However, she refused. She told her father regarding the truth about her mom disappearance, but he did not listen to her. She left the house and stayed with colleague.

Judge Cha tried to remove everyone who knew her crimes. This has caused Mr Au and her secretary’s anger. She framed her secretary for murder the Thai masseuse who believed to be Jae Yi’s mother. Jae Yi’s mother tried to gain as much evidence as possible to help Sang Pil with the case. Unfortunately, she has been caught by Judge Cha and Judge Cha instructed her secretary to kill her. Sang Pil saved Jae Yi’s mother and kept her in a safe place so that the judge can’t find her. Her secretary did not know the true identity of the Thai masseuse. She only knew when the judge told her about it.

Judge Cha framed and blamed all the fault to them. Sang Pil found out that the notebook that he received earlier from actually came from Judge Cha. He knew her intention to use him to get rid of all her comrade. Sang Pil tried to persuade Mr Au and her secretary to reveal Judge Cha’s wrong doings. At first, they hesitate to listen to what Sang Pil and Jae Yi said. However, when they knew that Judge Cha never kept her promises, they decided to stand the trial and revealed everything in the court in front of all the reporters from local and overseas so that Judge Cha can’t do ever she liked. During the trials, Judge Cha tried to stopped her secretary from answering the questions proposed by Sang Pil. She also tried to stop Sang Pil from asking the question that is related to her wrongdoings. But that’s did not stop Sang Pil from kept questioning the secretary. At last, even though Judge Cha did not confess her crime, she has been caught for investigation. Prosecutor invited Sang Pil and Jae Yi to the special unit force that fight against the corruption among the powerful person in the city.

I find Lee Joon Ki is a very charm and cool looking guy. I love to see his smile and his cool side of the character. He is very suitable to film the drama that involved fighting. I am looking forward to see the next project that he is going to film. Well, one thing I don’t like about this drama is that the follow the story is way too fast. The flow of it not really smooth enough. One more thing is how could Sang Pil knew about the plan of Judge Cha and Mr Au so accurately.

[Review] What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

Kim Mi So worked as a secretary for 9 years with Mr Lee. One day, she decided to resign from her position and she found a replacement. Mr Lee unable to accept the fact that Kim Secretary is going to resign. He tried his very best to keeping her by his side by offering good deals and treating her very well compared to other colleagues. He thought that Ms Kim fall in love for him and she was jealous that Mr Lee was being around with so many girls due to his good looking. The truth is Ms Kim did not like him. She felt that working for him was torturing her as Mr Lee seek for perfectionism. She has to work as busy as bees. This company offered her good pay. She decided to leave because the debt that her family incurred as been settled. She also intended to look for her childhood friend Oppa.

There is one thing that Mr Lee afraid of – cable tie computer. He has trauma regarding this as he had been kidnapped during his young age. Mi So suspected that Mr Lee was the child that she was looking for and suspicious about Mr Lee’s Brother who claimed to be her Oppa. Mr Lee’s brother has loss his memory and he assumed that he was the one who was being kidnapped rather than Mr Lee. Mr Lee managed to confess his love to Mi So and so did Mi So too. They finally started to date.

It has been a habit for Ms Kim to take care of the boss as a secretary. When they go for a date, their does not seem like a couple. They feel very awkward to each other. Therefore, Mr Lee decided to make a change. Instead of asking Ms Kim to do the photocopy for him, he did it by himself. His actions have risen the attention of his sub-coordinates as they find it strange for Boss to do it by himself. Mi So told Mr Lee to act as normal in the office as they are in a working place and also seek for Mr Lee’s respect for her job. They finally started a small fight as a couple. Mr Lee decided to apology to Mi So. He bought her favourite food – pork skin to visit her. However, before they started to eat, Mi So’s sisters came. Mr Lee was being forced to hide in the cupboard by Mi So. Mi So’s sisters talk a lot of bad things regarding Mr Lee and he heard it. Mr Lee decided to gain trust from her sisters that he was not a narcissistic and selfish person. Mi So always think that Mr Lee was the one who has been kidnapped but Mr Lee always refused it. Mi So tested Young Joon (Mr Lee) as she recalled what Young Joon mum once told her about the kidnapping case. Without Young Joon realising while he was asleep, he actually confessed his real name (Sung Hyun) to Mi So. Young Joon gave Mi So a surprise during her summer holidays with her family. Her sister gave Young Joon a hard time, asked him to do the hard core. In the end of the day, her sisters found out that Young Joon is a good guy who will love and protect Mi So. Thus, he managed to win her sister’s heart.

Young Joon’s mum told his brother the truth about the kidnapped case. His brother unable to accept the fact that he wasn’t the one who has been kidnapped. One day, during the event, Mi So suddenly collapsed. After woke up, she remembered everything from the past. Mi So and Young Joon temporary live together because Young Joon afraid that Mi So might experience trauma after remembering everything. He decided to stay with her at her place for a few days since Mi So does not want to stay at his house. But things did not go smoothly. In the end, they decided to stay at Young Joon house. Although Mi So stayed at his guest room, Young Joon still worried that due to his big house, he can’t see her sleep well. He also arranged spa treatment for all his staff as he actual motive is to allow her to have more rest time. What’s a sweet couple are they!

Young Joon could not wait to spend every second with Mi So. But Mi So felt that Young Joon was too rushing. She was not ready to let him met her dad who was in the hospital. After consulting with his best friend, he understood that he has to slow down his speed and apologies to Mi So. Mi So also felt that she has disappointed Young Joon who wished to spend more time with her. Thus, she decided to spend a night with him.

Their relationship has grow closer and closer. Young Joon brought Mi So to his friend’s café. Mi So thought it was a male friend. She got jealous when his female friend approached to Young Joon. Their dating has been exposed and all the colleagues knew about it. The colleagues from other departments bad-mouthed about Mi So who tried to flutter Young Joon. Mi So was hurt but she did not want to Young Joon know about this. But he heard from his friend about it. He brought Mi So out for fresh air. Without realising it, Mi So was going to leave her workplace. Everyone was hoping that she could stay. Young Joon happened to receive an objection from Mi So’s dad about their relationship. In fact, Mi So’s father was just trying to test Young Joon about his sincerity on Mi So. Young Joon was told to let go of Mi So that she can do what she wants in her life. When Young Joon asked her what she want to do after quitting her job, she said she don’t know either.

After an emergence incident happened in the office, Mi So handled the case so professionally that the she distributed the work and resolved the problems for Young Joon. Young Joon was so impressed with Mi So professionalism and he was desperately hoping to find someone like Mi So who can help him lessen his burden. Mi So told him that she wanted to continue to serve the company and that’s surprised Young Joon.

Mi So’s dad talked to Young Joon in private. He objected their marriage as he felt that Young Joon did not propose to Mi So properly. Young Joon showed him his sincerity and wanted to marry to Mi So. in the end of their conversation, Mi So’s dad accepted him as his son-in-law provided that he treats Mi So well. Young Joon thought hard on how to propose to Mi So romantically. He asked his friends and get some ideas from online. He even planned to propose her in Las Vages. But that has been rejected by Mi So. Yong Joon’s mom was worried that both brothers might argue again due to they love for the same woman. However, his brother told her not to worry so much about them. He gave Young Joon some tips on how to propose to Mi So: proposal must be special and indifferent, look for what Mi So like the most. Young Joon finally get the idea and proposed to Mi So. She accepted his proposal.

Young Joon’s mother was so adored Mi So. She bought everything that is branded and elegant for her. Mi So did not like it. She told her mother-in-law that she cannot those things and she felt pressure about it. Her father and mother-in-law were so impressed with Mi So’s intelligence. Young Joon was so excited and can’t wait to marry Mi So. Mi So was kept busying with her work and not really concerned about her wedding. This has caused Young Joon very upset and disappointed when they were supposed to try their wedding dress. So Mi tried to console Young Joon but she had made a mistake. She brought Young Joon to the place where she had a blind date with the reporter. Young Joon became jealous and angry with Mi So. Mi So realised her mistakes and wore the wedding dress for Young Joon at his house. Young Joon was so nervous and so did Mi So during their wedding day. They finally tie the knot and everybody was happy for their marriage.

The office romance is so romantic and hilarious. I really enjoyed watching this drama and it keep makes me curious about what’s next. Each episode brings different surprise event for the viewers. We could not expect what is going to happen in the next episode. It is very excited to wait for the next one. The pair are really good at acting and rich in facial expression. It is definitely worth watching drama for 2018 ever. Wish them to be the winner for the year.

[Review] The Ruler of the Mask

The King of Joseon who decided to work with Pyunsoo Group in order to assassinate the late King for the throne. The leader of Pyunsoo Group will force those who join the group to take poppy pills so that he can threaten the people with their life.

Lady Young Bin gave birth to a crown prince. The King was very happy as he finally has a child to be a true King instate of the puppet King. Pyunsoo Group collaborated with the Queen to poison the new born crown prince. When the prince was nearly died, the King met the Leader and requested for antidote. The Leader will only give the antidote with two conditions: the King has to hand over the Bureau of Water Supply to them and the prince must join the group when the time comes. When the prince healed from the poison, the prince developed a special ability whereby the prince has a self healing ability to heal himself from any poison. The King was afraid that the Pyunsoo Group forces the prince to join them. Therefore he purposely announced to the crowd that the prince needs to wear a mask due to his illness. The King also ordered that whoever sees the face of the prince will be killed.

The prince was wondering why he has to wear a mask throughout the years even thought he does not has any diseases. As the prince wanted to seek for the truth, he went out of the palace and looked for Master Woo Bin. On the way to see Woo Bin, he met a group of poor people who are suffer for insufficient of water supply. He also noticed that the Bureau of Water Supply actually changed a high price for those who buy water from them. The Prince caused an issue there and thus Ga Eun saved him from being captured by the guards. The Crown Prince does not want to reveal his name to the people. Therefore, he used another name Chun Soo for himself. Ga Eun leaded him to the place where Master Woo Bin stayed. 

Woo Bin knew the identity of Chun Soo and advised him not to do anything that will cause issue to the people. Chun Soo refused and he even involved in the investigation of the Water Supply issue. Due to his reckless act, Ga Eun's father and Lee Sun's father being killed. The Prince was desperate and kept apologizing to them. The King kept delay the day when the Prince has to join the Group. He even looked for a fake one to replace the Prince since none of them knew who is the real prince. Leader noticed that the King sent the fake prince to them. One day, Pyunsoo Group assassinate the King as well as Lady Young Bin in a night. The Prince saw it with his own eyes regarding the situation. However he managed to escape from the palace. The fake prince then become the King on the throne. (those who are addicted to poppy pills need to intake that pills for every 15 days)

The Prince met Master Woo Bin and asked for his advice what he need to do in order to get his throne back. Master Woo Bin let him join the peddles. The Prince sooner became the Chief Peddler who solves the issues faced by the people. He also investigate secretly about what Pyunsoo Group did to the people. He worked together with his comrade as well as the granddaughter of the Leader to eliminate Pyunsoo Group. At last, he finally claimed back his throne and serve the nation with love and care. All the people in the nation praise the new King for doing good for them.

The story line is interesting. However, it is not as touchy as the Love in the Moonlight. The overall plot is satisfying and I enjoyed watching the drama.

[Review] Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

This story begins with the story of a woman who had lived a difficult life and she felt really unsatisfied with the current living because she has been betrayed by her boyfriend and had to settle his outstanding debts too. She met a beggar and shared her Soju with him and expressed her satisfaction of her living to him. The beggar told her that she can stopped everything by ending her life. Suddenly, there is a kid has been drowned in the lake. She quickly ran over and saved the kid, however, she herself has been drowned in the lake. The surrounding atmosphere in the universe has been changed. When she awoke, she found herself in the pool where the princes spending their time there. She was shocked and surprised that she has living in the Goryeo Era with the name Hae Soo (8^th Prince’s wife’s cousin). She was so surprised and scared and wanted to go back to modern world. However, she has no choice but to endure the lifestyle in Goryeo. She made many troubles after her injury. She had a fight with 10^th prince and also being threaten to die by the 4^th prince every time she saw him. The 10^th prince thought that Hae Soo has a crush on him and decided to confess to her. On the other hand, 8^th prince also has a crush on her due to her warm and loving character. His family found that after the injury, her personality has changed a lot. Sometimes she also used modern language to talk to them which caused them even more curious about her.

The 4^th prince came back to the palace and he did not want to go back to his adopted family. He acts as fierce as wolf and he is a cruel person. He has a scar on his face due to his parents accidentally scratch him. Therefore, he always wears a mask. He always feels lack of love from his parents and being jealous when his sibling has gain much attention than him. Whoever see his scar will be threaten to die. Hae Soo was just lucky that he did not kill her when she entered the pool where the prince taking bath.

One day, the Crown Prince met him and suggested him to replace his role during the ritual ceremony secretly as the Crown Prince aware that there will be assassin will attack him and asked him to find out the culprit behind the assassination. The 4^th prince agreed with a condition: he wants to live in the palace. During the ritual ceremony, the 4^th prince has been attacked. All other princes went over to catch the masked assassins. Unfortunately, they failed to capture one. Hae Soo follow the 4^th prince to the forest and she saw the assassins with the mask have been killed by their leader. She tried to inform the 4^th prince but she has been captured by another assassin. The 4^th prince tried to question the assassin who is behind the assassination but failed too. He then blamed Hae Soo for causing trouble for him and again threatening to kill her. Hae Soo told him everything she saw in the forest and 8^th and 4^th prince suspected that it was the doing of 3^rd prince and the Queen Yoo.

Later, he and the Crown Prince found the bodies of the assassins. They noticed that all of their tongue has been cut. They tried to locate the nest of the assassins. The 4^th prince met and questioned 3^rd prince about the assassination. He denied anyway. The 4^th prince went to the nest of assassins (temple on top of the hill) and killed everyone in there and burned the palace in order to destroy the evidence to save the Queen. His action did not impress by the Queen Yoo, instead she chased him away and considered him not her child and someone who bring bad luck. But that did not stop him from leaving the palace. The crown prince and the astronomer persuaded the King to let 4^th prince to stay at palace and the king agreed. Although he was so upset with his mother’s unfairness treatment towards him, Hae Soo consoled him and then after he changed his behaviour toward Hae Soo. He no longer threatened her anymore. Hae Soo asked her servant to return the hairpin that 4^th prince dropped during the pool at his room, unfortunately, the servant has been caught by the princess. The princess punished the servant by whipping her. Hae Soo saw that incident and stopped the princess. At the same time, she explained to the princess that she was the one who asked the servant to return the hairpin. The princess did not believe her. Hae Soo replaced her servant and whipped by the princess. The princes bypassed the corner but none of the them able to help her although they know she was innocent. (traditionally men are not allowed to interfere the household issue) fortunately, 4^th prince interfered and stopped the princess. The princess was jealous that all her brothers protect Hae Soo. 8^th prince has a feeling for Hae Soo. He wrote a love poem for her and asked her to reply with poem. Hae Soo did not know the content of the poem due to she can’t read Chinese character. 14^th prince and Lady Han (8^th prince’s wife) found out about this. 14^th prince in love with Lady Han but she in love with 8^th prince. She has a weak body, she was going to die. She found out that 8^th prince love Hae Soo and wanted him to re-marry or divorced her. 8^th prince did not want to. Hae Soo also tried to distance herself from being close to 8^th prince. She did not want to hurt Lady Han. One day, 8^th prince bought a lot of medicine as Hae Soo interested in medicine. She used those medicine to make soap for the queens and 8^th prince as souvenir.

The 13^th prince has been captured by somebody who claimed that the prince has caused his hand cut. He tried to kill the prince. Hae Soo saw that incident and decided to follow them. She instructed her servant to inform someone for help. 4^th prince saw her and followed her to the forest. Hae Soo tried to save 13^th prince, but there are just too many persons. 8^th came to the rescue but he just can’t fight alone. 4^th prince came over later and just gave a glance on them. they quickly ran off. Hae Soo get along well with all the princes and they are happy to protect her. before Lady Han passed away, she asked 8^th prince to take care of her cousin. He was regret that he didn’t have the chance to tell her his feelings.

Just after the Lady Han passed away, Hae Soo was being arrange for marriage. Hae Soo was so surprised with the news and she did not want to marry either. The news has been known by the princes. They work together to rescue Hae Soo from being marry to an old man with many sons. But they never know until the guard told them that the old man was the King. Hae Soo don’t want to give troubles to the princes, so she decided to enter the palace and discuss with the King. However, that’s does not solve the issue for marrying with the King. Hae Soo therefore cut her arm in order to leave a scar on her body. Body with scar is not allowed to marry the King. Thus, she managed to escape from marrying with the King. But that’s not the end. She has to accept the punishment from the King (instead of death punishment, she was being work in the palace as court lady in Damiwon). She was so happy to work at there as she was expert in medicine and makeup. All other princes always come to visit her there. However, this has caused troubles for her as other court ladies were so jealous about her. she often got punishment by the senior court lady (SCL). SCL often warned her to distance herself from being close to the princes, but she never listened to her. thus, SCL punished her. SCL did not want Hae Soo followed her footstep and asked her not to trust the princes promises.

Due to the princess not very satisfy with Hae Soo and wanted her brother to be the Crown Prince, she cooperates with Queen Yoo by putting the poison on Crown Prince’s tea and framed Hae Soo for trying to kill the prince. 4^th prince knew about it through the confession from Queen Yoo. He tried to stop this incident happened. Thus, he drank 3 cups of the tea. He quickly left the place but the poison has come to react. Hae Soo was being arrested and tortured by the royal guard. 4^th prince was rescued and he told 8^th prince to find the evidence to clear Hae Soo’s name. During the investigation, he found out that his sister was the one behind it. He was so shameful to face Hae Soo and unable to reveal the culprit behind it. He turned away from Hae Soo and she was disappointed toward him. SCL also want to save Hae Soo from being beheaded. She asked the King to release Hae Soo and took her instead. SCL took all the blames and replaced Hae Soo die. Hae Soo was so upset with the result. She begged the King to release SCL but failed to do so. 4^th prince was besides her while all other princes also know the truth about SCL death.

The King instructed 3^rd prince and 4^th prince to settle issues outside Songgak. Before 4^th prince away from the palace, he asked the Hae Soo to wait for him and also requested the King not to hurt her. However, the King never listened to them. He felt that it was Hae Soo fault who caused this problem. Astronomer also warned Hae Soo many times that she should not involve in any affair with the royal family. The king demoted Hae Soo to the lowest level of servant in the palace. After a year, 4^th prince came back and looked for Hae Soo. Hae Soo tried to distance 4^th prince but that did not help. 4^th prince continued to look for her even though he has been pushed away by Hae Soo. Hae Soo broke up with 8^th prince after finding that 8^th was the one who wanted to be the King and caused attacked with 3^rd prince after knowing that the King was dying soon. 4^th prince came to stop 3^rd prince from being crowned as King. He fought with 8^th prince and at the same time he asked 14^th prince to find crown prince who was in outskirt. The crown prince managed to came back and crowned as King. But things did no go smoothly. While 4^th prince tried to persuade 3^rd prince to give up, he accidentally killed him. He was so upset and yet his brother blamed him for killing their brother. Year after year, the King was ill. The 3^rd prince came back alive and stole the crown from the king. Hae Soo saw with her own eyes that the King die in front of her. the cause of death is due to the King as been poison via the mercury in the bath pool. Hae Soo was then accused for murdering the King and threaten 4^th prince to recognised him as the King. 4^th prince has no choice but to save Hae Soo. Hae Soo asked the King about who the one behind the cause of the late king, and the king were signalling her that it was the idea of 8^th prince. The 4^th prince was so anger to the king when the king asked him to kill 10^th prince and his family. The 10^th prince and his wife hided at Hae Soo place and she not intended to tell 4^th prince about it as she afraid he might kill them. They came out with the plan to help 10^th prince to escape and it was unsuccessful. The 3^rd and 8^th prince ambushed the place and 4^th prince tried to rescue 10^th prince but it is too late. 10^th prince told 4^th prince to kill him so that he can die with his wife. He has no choice but to fulfil his wishes. The 4^th prince was very angry with Hae Soo who distrust him. He was so disappointed and left for work without saying goodbye with her. 

Hae Soo waited him so 2 years. The 13^th prince also came back from the war after 2 years. Hae Soo asked him whether he resented her/ could not forgive her. He remained cool but he still cared for her. 3^rd prince tried to shoot Hae Soo with arrow, 4^th prince noticed that and saved her. He was injured by the arrow on his arm. His injury got worsen and stayed at 14^th prince’s house for treatment. Hae Soo found out this and went to the house to treat his wound. After he was waking, he noticed Hae Soo was beside him. Hae Soo don’t want to let him go. 4^th prince cannot control his feeling for her and yet he kissed her and spend the night with her. 4^th prince told Hae Soo honestly that he wants to become the King to stop the killing between brothers. Hae Soo has no choice but to support him. One day, the King become ill and passed away in front of Hae Soo. He wrote an abdicate without the name for the throne. 4^th prince became the King without a fight. However, the government was curious and suspected him to stole the throne because they knew that the king would not pass the throne to the King. The government pressured the King to marry the princess in order to gain power in the court. 4^th prince did not want to but was forced to marry the princess he did not love.

When Hae Soo knew about the news regarding the King marriage, she was so upset and yet she knew that she cannot marry the King with the scar on her body. Although the king did not bother about her scar, she was being told by the astronomer that she should not interfere anymore. She took his advice to reject the king proposal. The king wanted make Hae Soo his queen badly and have child with her. He asked Hae Soo to take care of her body and asked the physician to exam it. The physician told Hae Soo that her knee was not treated properly and she has a heart disease that could not allow her to live long.

She comforted the King not to marry her and told him that she dislikes the life in the palace. She prefers to be free and live outside the palace. The King wanted to marry her but he has to respect the decision of Hae Soo. 13^th prince was in love in Hae Soo. He had previous asked the late king to allow him to marry ae Soo. 13^th prince told Hae Soo that if she wanted to leave the palace badly just informed him that she is willing. The king married the queen with the condition that she has to turn back on her family in order to allow her son to be the crown prince. The queen agreed with it. The King purposely accused 8^th prince for treason and wanted to kill the 8^th prince. Hae Soo knew about it and begged the King to spare his life. The King then disallowed him to leave his own compound.

The princess tried to ruin the relationship between Hae Soo and the king. She told 8^th prince to tell the prince about their past relationship. The King felt being betrayed and did not want to Hae Soo again. She was so upset and informed 13^th prince that she wanted to leave the palace. The 13^th prince informed the king that he wanted to marry Hae Soo and helped her get out of the palace. The King could not believe it and asked Hae Soo about it. Hae Soo wanted to leave the palace badly. The King has no choice but to let her go.

Hae Soo spent her life with the 13^th prince. The king instructed someone to spy on their daily activities. The King get jealous when he found out that the 13^th prince sleep in the same room with Hae Soo. He then stopped getting update from them. One day, Hae Soo became ill. A physician came to exam her. 13^th prince only knew that she was pregnant before marriage. Hae Soo did not want the King to know about the child. They kept it secret until she gave birth to a baby girl. After giving birth, her condition became worsen. She wrote letters to the King but the King never read them. She waited for the King until the moment she died. The King only realised that she passed away and regretted for not reading her letter. Before Hae Soo passed away, she asked 13^th to take care of the child and do not let the child to enter the palace.

Years after years, the king met the child. He felt the child looked like Hae Soo very much. He asked 13^th prince how old is the child. He then suspected that the child was actually his. However, he respected the will of Hae Soo not to let the child live in the palace.

Go Ha Jin woke up from her coma. Hae Soo was back in the modern era. Ha Jin worked at her cosmetics shop and she met the strange guy looked like the astronomer. She then recalled back the memories when she looked at the museum pictures. She realised that it was true that she experienced everything there and she was really sad when she saw the King was all alone at the palace.

The storyline captured my attention and I find it very interesting to watch it. What I noticed about is that most of the historical drama their storyline is more or less the same. It is either sad/funny type of drama. However, I enjoyed both of them. And most importantly, they storyline don’t overlap with one another. The drama has to be fresh and different from one another. It portrait the funny of modern people and ancient people. Whenever Hae Soo using modern language in her conversation, it caused confusion for the ancient people to understand. The overall drama is amazing and love both couples in the drama. I am looking forward for the season 2.

[Review] I’m not a Robot

There is a professor, who is an expert in creating robot, has created a human robot with the face of his ex-girlfriend. Due to lack of fund, he proposed his robot to the director of KM Finance, Kim Min Kyu. He is the largest shareholder of KM Finance. He is rich. Min Kyu has a weird disease which is allergy to human contact. Even doctor also has no idea how to cure him. Whenever his allergy (can caused him to die) arise, he has to take injection given by the doctor. Since he was young, his parent died in a car accident. He lived all alone in a mansion. During the funeral of his parents, he discovered that his uncle’s motive is not easy. He wanted him to sign on a contract, Min Kyu refused after receiving a card from madam X who helped him secretly.

When the professor proposed this human robot to him, he was really excited about it. He wanted to test the robot at his home. The deal between the professor and him allowed the laboratory team to stay at his home. Before sending the robot to Min Kyu’s house, the robot was having a short circuit. They are unable to replace the circuit board for the robot. Thus, the professor has no choice but to look for his ex to pretend to be the robot. Jo Ji-Ah was unemployed and always being scolded by her brother due to her unemployment. She always wanted to start entrepreneurship to invent useful stuff for those who are in need of them. Her idea has been banned by her brother, however she did not give up. She joined a competition for entrepreneurship. She looked for the director as she wanted to propose her idea to him. She found out that Min Kyu was the director of KM Finance. Ji- Ah also acted as an agent to help Min Kyu bought limited edition character for him. Due to the cover of the character has some stain on it, Min Kyu refused to pay Ji Ah. She was frustrated and accidentally dragged his necklace. Min Kyu asked Ji Ah to return back the necklace, but Ji Ah did not realise that she actually mistakenly taken his necklace. She returned it back to Min Kyu. When she pretended to be the robot, she never knew that she was sent to Min Kyu’s house. She started to get to know Min Kyu more deeply.

I find it weird that when Min Kyu touches Ji Ah, he does not have any allergy to her. I felt that it is due to his psychology. He thought Ji Ah is a robot, thus he doesn’t show any sign of allergy. If he aware that she is a human he definitely becomes allergic. He told his doctor about his condition and the doctor was surprised. The professor was frustrated due to the close relationship between Ji Ah ans Min Kyu. He decided to refuse the investment from Min Kyu. The Professor looked for new investors which create an opportunity for Min Kyu’s enemy. Min Kyu begged the professor and the team to stay as he knew that he could not be cured without the robot. The director also showed the professor about his symptom that he really need a robot in his life. They were touched and the professor decided to change his mind and continue to stay with the condition that Min Kyu cannot touch the robot. Min Kyu was so happy that his disease has been cured with the present of robot. Thus, he decided to go for a date with his first love by bringing along robot. Ji Ah was so hurt to see him having a date with his first love. However, their first date did not go well. End of the day, Ji Ah kissed Min Kyu. However, the next day, he was furious towards the robot because he felt that it is abnormal for him to fall in love with robot. He spoke rudely to the robot and wished that the robot can be a human. Ji Ah also wished to confess that she is a human but she couldn’t. One day, Min Kyu bought Ji Ah beautiful blouse and bag and brought her to a high-end restaurant. Ji Ah thought that Min Kyu tried to be nice to her, but she was disappointed to find out that he dined with his girlfriend and her father. He even proposed to her for engagement. He realised that all the while the birthday postcard sent to him wasn’t from girlfriend but from her father. He was too disappointed with that. The professor tried to get back his Ji Ah. He realised the reason for break-up with Ji Ah. He fixed the Aji 3 as quickly as possible in order to let the robot replace Ji Ah.

Min Kyu once compliment the inventor who invented a special umbrella that he has been using now. Whenever he used the umbrella, he thinks of the robot. Ji ah was so happy that her hard work has been noticed by him. She joined an entrepreneurship competition and now she was in a final round with the idea that producing 2 lamps-heart.  During the entrepreneurship competition, the director attended the event. At first, he was quite disappointed when none of the people approached her booth. Due to her father encouragement, she was able to sell her product and that’s attracted many supporters. Min Kyu too also attracted with the product and that’s reminded him of his robot. Min Kyu was so upset when he has to reset his robot in order to delete all the data input between him and the robot. He told his problem to the professor and consulted doctor about his issue. After the event, Ji Ah went to see a doctor to ask about human allergy issue. The doctor suspected something a missed. The doctor went to the laboratory of the professor and found out about the issue. He was so furious that their actions that might cause Min Kyu’s death. On the other hand, the doctor also thanked them for curing his disease. There is also another successful case with the same disease has been cured in oversea that for those patients who are allergy with human, they are cured by having someone that they trusted the most. The doctor advised them to tell Min Kyu the truth that Ji Ah is not a robot. While they in a mist of telling the truth, the doctor received a call from the oversea patient who has been dead due to allergy shock after knowing his girlfriend cheated her. The doctor quickly informed Ji Ah about the issue and warned them not to tell the truth. Ji Ah has no choice but to follow what the doctor said. Ji Ah decided to leave Min Kyu’ house to lessen further hurt for Min Kyu. After saying goodbye to him, both Ji Ah and Min Kyu were heart broken and upset. Min Kyu cannot forget Ji Ah and so did Ji Ah miss Min Kyu.

She decided to go to Geojo island and later went to Australia for working holidays. While she was on the trip to Geojo island, Min Kyu also boarded the same train as her and sat face to face to one another. Min Kyu was so surprised that he saw someone with the face as the robot did. He then followed her to where she worked and stayed. He tried to talk to her but Ji Ah tried to avoid him at any cost. As he kept looking for Ji Ah, he finally found out that Ji Ah is a human. He was so disappointed, angry and upset. His allergic came back again. Luckily, he still survived. However, he was unable to forgive the professor and his team, his assistance as well as Ji Ah. Another shocking news came along which is the CEO instructed someone to hack their computer in order to steal document from professor. The CEO found out that regarding the rare disease the director has. They threatened the professor to hang over Aji 3 to them as an exchange for releasing the news of director and dismissing the director from his position. The professor agreed with that exchange. Ji Ah tried to be nice with Min Kyu, but he acted rudely to her. She cooked and brought food for him by covering everything. Min Kyu although he was rude to her, he missed her too. Ji Ah good friend came over to persuade him that he should forgive and appreciated their friendship instead of losing them.

Min Kyu invited Ji Ah out for a talk. Ji Ah told him the truth and what was happening from beginning until the end. He accepted their apologies and decided to drop the lawsuit against Ji Ah and the professor’s team. He revealed his disease to the world and also introduced the future development of the company as well as stopped the chairman of the company to sold Santa Maria team for cheap to oversea company. He was doing this for the sake of the team as well as for the company benefit. Due to trust and friendship, he can now able to contact with human. Ji Ah and Min Kyu can now live happily ever after.

[Review] Kill Me, Heal Me

Cha Do Hyun has a mental disease known as DID, in layman term known as multiple personality disorder. He was a son from conglomerate company Seng Jin Group. Due to his mental issue, his other personality always caused him a lot of issue. Then after he awake, he has to clean up the mess. His secretary is good enough to help him cover his mess whenever his personality came out. He has been diagnosed in America for 11 years however it does not seem any improvement on his disease. When he was back in South Korea, he looked for the same professor again for treatment. This time he met a psychist named Oh Ri Jin. She and her brother helped Do Hyun to recovery from Multiple Personality Disorder. Although sometimes they give her a hard time, she did not give up easily. During the period while staying at Do Hyun’s house, she finally recalled her old memories too.

It goes the same as Do Hyun. Do Hyun was actually the name real name for Ri Jin. Ri Jin was being adopted by Ri Oh’s mother after the fire incident. Ri Jin’s biological mum was pregnant before marry to Do Hyun’s Dad. Do Hyun’s dad dislike Ri Jin’s mum. He was very sure that Ri Jin is not his daughter. Thus, he always abused her. Do Hyun has a mum who consider the second of his dad. She always plans for her son so that he can become the successor of Seng Jin Group one day. 

Do Hyun and Ri Jin have a very close relationship with one another. They always played around together in the past. Whenever Do Hyun do mistakes, his dad will start to punish Ri Jin instead of Do Hyun. One day, Ri Jin has been locked up in the basement by Do Hyun’s dad. Do Hyun secretly brought food for Ri Jin in basement and played with her every night at 10pm. However, one day, his dad discovered Do Hyun went to the basement again. He dragged Do Hyun out from the basement and abused her again. Because of this, Do Hyun’s personality started to split. He then started the fire in the basement and cause his dad to coma for so many years. Ri Jin was saved by her mom’s friend and later adopted her.  Do Hyun original name is Cha Joon Young. His name has not been registered in family because his grandfather did not allow him. His grandfather registered the name of Cha Do Hyun because his grandfather was adored by the capability of Ri Jin biological mum’s capability. He promised Ri Jin’s mom to take care of her daughter. Due to the fire incident, Joon Young cannot use his original name. In fact, he has to use Do Hyun name instead.

At last, all his personality has been merged into one. He no longer suffered multiple personality disorder anymore. Their lives back to normal. Ri Jin and Do Hyun live happily ever after whereas Ri Oh latest new book hit the best seller by writing the story “Kill Me Heal Me”.

It was an interesting and funny drama. It has a very unique story line. The actor is very good at acting on different personalities from time to time. It is not easy to change from one personality to another without great acting skill. He has to emerge himself deeply into the character in order to deliver the great result. And yet, he did it perfectly. The actress too has to handle different personality with different method so that they can listen to her without acting recklessly.
