Review: Healer

Healer is a code name that used by Seo Jung Hoo. He worked together with Jo Min Ja (hacker detective) as an errand guy whose goal is to save money to buy an deserted island in South Africa. He has a great teacher who raise him and teach him the fighting skills . His goal has been changed after he was assigned to protect a girl (Chae Young Shin) from being killed. He discovered the similar photo of his father's college friends in a house. He started to find out the truth of his father's death. He then pretend to worked as a reporter in order to fulfill the order of his client Kim Moon Ho. He pretend to be a weak one so that no one can recognize him as Healer. He then slowly fall in love with Chae Young Shin.

Chae Young Shin is a entertainment reporter who wish to become a famous reporter like Kim Moon Ho. She has a trauma during her childhood. Besides, she also suffer several ribs fracture. Therefore, she will suffer panic attack whenever she see violent. Healer saved her several times from danger . She later fall in love with Healer. She does not realised that Park Bong Soo (Seo Jung Hoo/Healer) was actually Healer. She slowly found the clue and discovered who Healer really is.

Kim Moon Ho is trying to protect Seo Jung Hoo and Chae Young Shin by having live interview so that the bad guy cannot do anything on them. He is  Seo Jung Hoo and Chae Young Shin's uncle. He is trying to find out the truth on the death of his friend ( the fathers of both Seo Jung Hoo and Chae Young Shin). Eventually, they managed to reveal the true cause of death of the two innocent fathers.

 I am very impressed with the acting skill of Ji Chang Wook. He is really good in fighting and action stuff. I would like to see more drama from him. Currently he is enlisted in military service. For the time being, I would love to watch his previous drama - Empress Ki which has very high viewers rate and received a number of awards.

[Review] Moon that Embraces the Sun

I love the choice of song used by this drama. It is lovely and suitable for this drama. On the other hand, I love storyline of the drama.

In the beginning of the drama, the queen mother instructed the minister to kill the prince Eui Sang (King's half brother) in order to retain the King's power. The incident was witnessed by a shaman who was trying to prevent the incident from happened. Unfortunately, the shaman presence was noticed by the Minister. The shaman Ari ran away  and was saved by a pregnant lady. The shaman Ari saw the future of the baby. She knew that this baby will face a great difficulty in the future if she stayed close to the Sun (King). Ari promised the pregnant lady that she will try her best to protect the girl. Later, Ari was captured by the minister and tortured to dead. Before Ari died, she met her best friend, shaman Jung. She told shaman to look for the girl and protect her no matter what.

Yeon Woo and her mother went to the palace to attend her brother's  honor ceremony. She was later met with the guy (crown prince) in the palace. She mistaken him as a thief who stole things from palace. The crown prince does not want to reveal his identity, therefore, she doesn't know he is the Crown prince. After that day, both of them fall in love with one another. Yeom (Yeon Woo's brother) due to his outstanding in his study, he was assigned to be the teacher for the crown prince.

After knowing that Yeom was Yeon Woo's brother, he get to know Yeon Woo more better. He also wanted to marry her badly. He asked the King to choose his bride fairly so that the queen mother does not interfere his marriage (queen mother wanted him to marry with Yoon clan so that they can retain their power in the palace). In the end, Yeon Woo excellent quality has impressed the King and thus she has become the crown princess. Days before their wedding, Yeon Woo was cursed under a spell and fall sick. She was forced to leave the palace and surrendered her position to Yoon Clan. She then believed to be dead. Shaman Jung who cursed the spell (due to the order of the queen mother) saved her  life from the grave. She then raised her and protected her from any danger. She tried to avoid her from getting closer to the King.

Eights years has passed. The King (Lee Hwon) missed his ex-Crown Princess who is believed died due to critical illness. He hardly smile nor happy all the time. He even refused to sleep with the queen to produce heirs. Even though the ministers and queen mother kept pressuring him, he still refused to do so. While the King was on his vacation to countryside, he met a lady who resemble Yeon Woo. Yeon Woo has lost her memory and she could not remember any memory in her past life. The king thought that Yeon Woo was alive and at the same time he always reminded himself that Yeon Woo has died long time ago so that he won’t fall in love with other lady.

One day, the queen mother kidnapped shaman Jung's adopted daughter as she wanted to meet shaman Jung. Queen mother requested this lady to be human talisman to the King to absorb all the evil spirits. They sent her to the King chamber every night while the King was sleeping for a month before the King and queen to produce heir. After shaman staying beside the King all night,  the King become more happy and healthy. However, day after day the King noticed something suspicious. He decided not to fall asleep an[][]d monitor who was the one entered his chamber. He then found out that the lady from the countryside shaman is in his chamber and she even touched the King's forehead. The King punished her and at the same time save her.

The King was suspicious regarding the death of his crown princess. He decided to investigate the case secretly. Yeon Woo who suddenly regained her memories also trying to investigate who is trying to kill her. Shaman Jung told her everything. It was the princess Min Hwa who madly wanted Yeom to be her husband. She desire in getting Yeom has become an object used to amplify the black magic to curse a person. After the King knowing the truth, he punished those who are involved in killing the crown princess. The king also kill those ministers who a no longer loyal to him in the end of the story.

I like Kim Soo Hyun acting in this drama. It was legend. He has a great character and quality in portraying the King. His eyes, his manner and behaviour have well presented. This drama required a strong sense of emotion in order bring the best effect for the drama. I highly recommend this drama.

[Review] I Can Hear Your Voice

Park Soo Ha has a special ability whereby he can hear the inner voice of a person. He uses his ability to help Attorney  Jung to know the truth and to protect her from any danger. 11 years ago, Soo Ha and his father was happened to be in an car accident. Min Joon Gook crashed the lorry to their car. Min Joon Gook killed his father in front of him. Jung and Seo heard a loud sound and came for a look. They saw Min Joon Gook used a pipe to kill Soo Ha's father. Min Joon Gook threatened them if they revealed everything his is going to kill them and their family members. Jung and Seo were afraid and frightening. However, that's does not stop them from revealing the truth.

Jung present at the court and told the judge that she has the evidence to prove that Min Joon Gook killed Soo Ha's father. Min Joon Gook was anger and threatened to kill her after he released. Soo Ha comforted Jung not to worry about her safety, he will be there to protect her. After 10 years, Soo Ha managed to find Attorney Jung. He spent most of the time to be by her side in order to prevent Min Joon Gook from killing her.

Min Joon Gook has no choice but he decided to kill Jung's mother. Min Joon Gook assigned Attorney Cha to be his public defender. At first Attorney Cha refused to accept the case because he worked under the same roof with Attorney Jung. However, he finally accepted the offer. He felt that it is his responsibility to carry out his duty as public defender. He tried his best to find evidence to defend Min Joon Gook and eventually Min Joon Gook was found not guilty for his charge. Attorney Jung could not accept the fact that Attorney Cha actually does not stand by her side. She hated Attorney Cha a lot. After the incident, Min Joon Gook decided to look for Soo Ha in order to turn him into murderer. Attorney Jung knew about this and advice Soo Ha no matter how much he hates Min Joon Gook, Soo Ha must promised her that he won't kill Min Joon Gook.

Soo Ha was once accidentally stabbed Attorney Jung when Min Joon Gook influenced him to kill himself. He was shocked and quickly brought Jung to the hospital for treatment. After that, Soo Ha went missing for a year. Attorney Cha was in love with Attorney Jung, but Attorney Jung refused to accept him because she fall in love with young kid, Soo Ha. Attorney Jung was looking for him everywhere. She missed Soo Ha. A year after, in the fish pond, they found Min Joon Gook left hand and also Soo Ha fingerprint. The court believed that Soo Ha is the murderer who killed Min Joon Gook. Attorney Jung could not believed it and she tried her best to help Soo Ha to escape from being guilty for killing Joon Gook. Soo Ha at that time lost his memories, he could not remembered what was going on during that time.

Attorney Jung believed that Soo Ha did not kill Min Joon Gook. Through the evidence that they collected, she believed that Min Joon Gook still alive. In fact, it was true. Min Joon Gook 1 year ago called Soo Ha and told him that his father was the one who started all this revenge. Soo Ha could not believe what he said and his ran off the place. Min Joon Gook cut off his left hand so that the court can captured Soo Ha for killing him. After Soo Ha ran off the place,  he met an accident and caused memories lost. Min Joon Gook kept sending letters to Soo Ha, Jung, and Cha about the case happened regarding the heart transplant issue.

Min Joon Gook's wife required a heart transplant in order to survive. They were finally waited for heart transplant operation. But, Soo Ha's father cut the queue and begged the hospital to do heart transplant for his wife. Due to this issue, Min Joon Gook's wife died. He was angry with the doctors and Soo Ha's father. Therefore, he decided to kill him. I wanted to kill Attorney Jung because she revealed the truth of his killing and sentenced him to jail for 10 years. In the end of the drama, Min Joon Gook admitted his wrongdoing. He realised that he was wrong in everything. Soo Ha finally get an offer to enter police academy and lived happily with Attorney Jung.

[Review] My Love from the Star

I'm really impressed with Jun Ji Hyun's acting skill. She is a great entertainer who make me feel funny whenever she cry or laugh or even anger. She has a very rich expression to deliver to the audience. Kim Soo Hyun is a very cool man in this drama. He has superpowers that made him strong and can't defeated by others. He can stop the time for a minutes, has speedy running ability, can eardrop what others said, and also teleport ability.

The storyline was refreshing and awesome. But the ending wasn't end with an happy ending. Although Do Min Joon can travel back to Earth, he can only stay for a few second at most. I don't think this will please every audience but still overall the drama is entertaining. They deserved to win the awards.

Do Min Joon lived on Earth for 400 years. During his last 3 months on Earth, he met Cheong Song Yi (actress). He went through a lot of ups and downs with Cheong Song Yi until the day he left the Earth. He protected her as much as he could. His power has limitations, which are he cannot kill a person using his ability (he would die) and when he is not in good condition (can’t use his power). Do Min Joon is handsome and cool. I wish to watch his movie more.

Comparing My Love from the Star and The Legend of the Blue Sea, I find the role played by Jun Ji Hyun is interesting and she is very attractive. I love the drama played by her.
