Hong-Jo is not an ordinary car. He transformed into human when he is surrounded with Kim Sol-A's belongings and smell. Initially, he was belonging to Lee Jae-Sun's ex-girlfriend's cat. Lee Jae Sun breaks up with his ex-girlfriend and she returns the cat to him. Because he is allergic with cat, he is unable to take care of it. Sol-A voluntarily offers to take care of the cat until they find the new owner.

Ko Doo-Sik is Sol-A and Jae-Sun's high school friend. He is close to Sol-A and they work in the same company. Lee Jae-Sun owns a coffee shop in neighbourhood. They often visit his coffee shop.

Kim Sol-A has no place to stay because her father decides to sell the house and get marry with another woman and lives with her. Her step-mother allows her to stay at her house which is just opposite Jae-Sun's coffee shop. Kim Sol-A has a crush with him. But, they do not date with one another. Even though Kim Sol-A dislike cat, she still taking care of it.

Based on Hong-Jo's memory, when he was still a child, Kim Sol-A was once buying him some food and covered him with her scarf. He became a cat suddenly when he chased a leaf. Sol-A at that time was looking for him everywhere. Lee Jae-Sun thought that she abandoned the cat when he saw the scarf covered it. He left her and took the cat with him.

Kim Sol-A starts to draw her webtoon and uploads them in the Web. Initially, she only has a few visitors. Doo-Sik helps to promote her webtoon to their fellow colleagues. Kim Sol-A is afraid that her boss might know about it and fires her. Her webtoon receives some negative comments. She is embarrassed when Lee Jae-Sun criticises her work. Her webtoon is actually based on the love story between Jae-Sun and hers.  Sol-A decides to stop publishing her webtoon. However, Hong Jo encourages her to draw what she likes. She then picks up her tools and continues to draw with new inspiration.

Hong Jo secretly cares about Sol-A and he knows that she was the one who was taking care of him. He transforms into human to bring her father to hospital for treatment when he collapses at home. He also takes care and consoles Sol-A when she needs. At first, Sol-A is terrifying when Hong Jo showed up without notice. She thought that he was her step-mother's son. Hong Jo acts weird when he goes shopping with Sol-A. Sol-A is surprised with his action.

The real stepbrother comes back from oversea. He does not manage to meet Sol-A because Hong Jo avoid Sol-A from seeing her stepbrother. Hong Jo is surprised to meet the stepbrother. Her stepbrother thought Hong Jo is Sol-A's boyfriend. Hong Jo knows that he cannot lie anymore. He decides to tell the truth. One day, Sol-A comes to Mr Bang's room and see a long hair. She thinks there is a woman in his room. During lunch time, she sees Hong Jo speaks with Ji Eun. She thinks they are in relationship.

Jae-Sun always scolds Sol-A for being careless for not taking care of the cat. He finds a new owner for Hong Jo. Hong Jo does not want to leave Sol-A. He wants Sol-A's belongings so that he can keep coming back to find her. He also finds a part time job at Doo-Sik's restaurant. His parent is happy to hire him because of his good looking attracts many customers to come to their restaurant. Besides, his caring personality also win their heart.

Sol-A finds Hong Jo everywhere. She even thinks Hong Jo passes away. At last, she finds it in her closet. Sol-A tells Jae-Sun about it. She apologised to him and also tells him that she will take care of it. Before that, Jae-Sun receives a call from the owner that she does not want to own the cat anymore due to her pregnancy.

Jae-Sun is abandoned by his foster parents a few times while he was young. The reason he leaves Sol-A is that he thought she abandoned the cat 10 years ago. However, he never tells her the reason. He is also afraid that she might abandoned him just like the cat.

Hong Jo realises that misunderstanding between Jae-Sun and Sol-A is due to him. He decides to clear their misunderstanding. In the end, Sol-A discovers that Jae-Sun leaves her because he is quick to jump into conclusion without asking her. She is disappointed with Jae-Sun.

Eun Ji Eun is Sol-A's colleague. She is a shy person and she has many secrets. She also studies in the same high school as her. However, other colleagues dislike her because they believed that she has a connection with their boss. They even thought that Ji Eun tells the boss about Sol-A's webtoon. Sol-A is given many jobs by her boss. Ji Eun does not explain to them about the truth until Sol-A asks her out for chitchatting. Ji Eun reveals that she has a crush on Doo-Sik. Sol-A is mistaken about her.

When Sol-A arrives home, she meets her stepbrother. She thinks he is Hong Jo's friend. She does not think much about it. She also thanks him for fixing the hot boiler and light. Her stepbrother then leaves the house.

The stepbrother come to Jae-Sun's cafe before he leaves. Jae-Sun confirms with him that he was the real Mr Bang. He wonders who is the man in Sol-A's house all the while. He worries about her safety. Therefore, he goes and meet Sol-A at her house. Sol-A's is too drunk at that time. She finds a document stating that Mr Bang has changed his name to Bang Cruise. Sol-A begs him not to change his name. Hong Jo asks her whether he can keep using Mr Bang's name and she says yes. Sol-A's then collapses, and Jae-Sun hugs her. He asks Hong Jo who is him.

Jae-Sun discovers that Hong-Jo is a cat. However, he promises him to keep it a secret. One day, one suspicious man comes to Sol-A's house. Jae-Sun and Hong Jo stop him. Jae-Sun keeps sneezing when he closer to him. He suspects he is a cat too. Hong Jo works at Jae-Sun's cafe as a part timer.

Hong Jo promises Sol-A that he will go with her the Riverside during her mother's death anniversary. Sol-A waits for him till at night. Hong Jo is busy during day time. He rushes to the market to buy some peaches for her mother. Because he is too exhausted, he fells a sleep and becomes a cat. That suspicious man takes him away while he is sleeping. Jae-Sun comes to Sol-A, but she decides to wait for Hong Jo.

While Jae-Sun on his way back, he discovers the canned peaches on the street. He could not find Hong Jo everywhere. He tells Sol-A about the disappearance of the cat. They find the cat everywhere. Finally, they meet some strangers and they tell them that there is a man who taking care of the street-cats. They want to find him at his workplace, but he is not around. At night, they manage find the man. The man rushes back to his house when they find out that he steals their cat. Hong Jo makes noises for that Sol-A can heard him. He also appears as human in front of the suspicious man and asks him to release all the cat. While they are struggling with one another, the man cut Hong Jo's hand. Sol-A and Jae-Sun come in just in time. Hong Jo quickly turns back to human. Sol-A brings the cat to clinic. The cat has to stay at the clinic for a night.

Hong-Jo decides to come back home. He apologies with Sol-A that he is unable to keep his promise to her. Jae-Sun is jealous when Sol-A keeps asking him about Hong Jo. He tells her the reason why Hong Jo does not keep his promise. Sol-A is touched as she realises that Hong Jo went to buy canned peaches and fell asleep somewhere.

Hong Jo tries to keep himself awake so that he can be human. He wants to drink coffee but Jae-Sun stops him because cat does drink coffee. However, he does not listen to him. He continues to drink coffee. Jae-Sun also advises Sol-A not to fall in love with Hong Jo because he cannot accept it. Sol-A finds herself growing feeling for Hong Jo. She hopes that Hong Jo is not her stepbrother. Hong Jo confesses that he is not her stepbrother and kissed her.

Sol-Ais happy and wants him to kiss her again. Jae-Sun urges Hong Jo to leave her. Hong Jo meets a friend and she told him that cat lifetime is shorter than human. They get old quickly. She advises him not to tell the woman he loves. Hong Jo thinks about it. He decides to leave Sol-A so that she won't be heartbroken if he passes away earlier. He tells Jae-Sun about it.

Hong Jo tells Sol-A that he wants to go for a trip. Sol-A does not want him to leave. Hong Jo wants to see her keep drawing before he leaves. However, Sol-A keeps dragging the time to draw. She also buys a handphone for him. Hong Jo takes her photos. One day, Sol-A's stepmother invites her and Mr Bang to celebrate her father's birthday. Hong Jo initially does not want to come. Jae-Sun also tells him to leave her at this time because he is unable to cover his identity anymore.

While Sol-A is waiting at the train station, she surprised that Hong Jo appears. Jae-Sun thinks Hong Jo already leave and offers Sol-A to take him to see her father instead. Sol-A's stepmother give her a call and tells her that Mr Bang is with her. Sol-A is surprised with what she heard. However, she did not believe him even though he told her many times that he was not Mr Bang. Jae-Sun also came along with Sol-A and Hong Jo to celebrate her father's birthday. Hong Jo promised that he will see the sea with Sol-A.

Hong Jo turns back into a cat when Mr Bang's mother picks them up. Sol-A is shocked when the real Mr Bang appears in front of her. She cannot accept the fact. After talking to Mr Bang, she starts to believe that love is miracle.

Jae-Sun talks to Hong Jo about Sol-A's shocking. They go to find her everywhere. Jae-Sun tries to throw the necklace of Hong Jo. He later changes his mind. He gives it back to Hong Jo. Hong Jo does not take carefully and drops the necklace. Jae-Sun helps him to find the necklace because Hong Jo turns into a cat. He finds the necklace but could not find Hong Jo. He looks for Sol-A and tells her about Hong Jo. Sol-A finds Hong Jo at the beach. She could not believe her eye. Jae-Sun tells her the truth and she starts to believe it. He also talks about his past and he hopes that Sol-A can accepts him again.

Sol-A tells Hong Jo that she needs more time to think about it. She is in shock to accept the fact that human turns into a cat. Hong Jo discovers his body deteriorated. He doesn't tell anyone about it. Jae-Sun has one more cat left for adoption. Because it is too old and nobody wants to adopt it. Jae-Sun suddenly reads a new about his father resignation. He brings the cat and pays a visit to his father. Before he also gives up meeting his father, his father come to see him. His relationship with his father is bad. He asks his father a favour to adopt the cat. His father is touched and he tells him that he has finally willing to ask his family for help. He cares about his family. Jae-Sun and his father's misunderstanding is cleared.

Sol-A think about it a few days. She misses him. She decides to talk to him. Hong Jo told her that he has a short lifespan. He will die before her. Sol-A could not believe it. She will appreciate every min spend with him. With the encouragement from Sol-A, Eun Ji Eun willing to speak up for herself. She also dates with Ko Doo-Sik. Even though his parents dislike her, they try to win their heart.

One day, Jae-Sun's ex-girlfriend come to visit him. She wants to get the cat back. Hong Jo refuses. Due to his dizziness, he turns into a cat. Sol-A come in on time. She tells her that she will take care of Hong Jo. She brings it back home. She wants Hong Ji to become human. However, Hong Jo cannot. Sol-A brings it to the clinic. The doctor said the cat is too tired and being abused.

Sol-A worries about his condition. She wants him to stay at home. One day, Sol-A receives a call from webtoon manager. He offers to publish her webtoon. Sol-A is excited. When everyone congratulations Sol-A’s success for being a webtooner, Sol-A introduces Hong Jo as her boyfriend to them. She really thankful to her friends and Hong Jo for encouraging her and gives her moral support to make her webtoon success. Hong Jo realises that someone is out there. He is the one who keeps all the street cat in his house. He monitors Hong Jo and knows his secret. When Hong Jo is tired and become a cat, Sol-A quickly brought him to home. The man stops her and kidnaps the cat. Sol-A jumps into the car to rescue the cat. Luckily, her friends and Jae-Sun helps her to get the cat back. Hong Jo also tells him that the cats that he loves does not come back for him because of his mental health issue.

Ko Doo-Si introduces Eun Ji-Eun as his girlfriend to his parents and friend. Although his parent never expects Eun Ji-Eun to be their son's girlfriend, his parent accepts her when she designs a new logo for them.

Because she is too busy with her work and webtoon, Sol-A does not have time to accompany Hong Jo. He always waits for her near her workplace. Some of her colleagues see him. Sol-A is uncomfortable that Hong Jo waits for her near her workplace. She tells him not to wait for her. Hong Jo does not have much time left. He wants to spend more time with her.

Hong Jo makes Sol-A a bag to put her handphone. He wants to give her as a present. Before he able to give her, Sol-A hurts his heart. His time to become human has reduce from day to day. He tells Jae-Sun about his condition. Jae-Sun's father passes away. He is upset and Sol-A consoles him. He tells her about Hong Jo's condition. Sol-A is surprised. She feels sorry for him.

Sol-A decides to resign. She plans to fully focus on her webtoon. She also wants to spend more time with Hong Jo. She sleeps all day because she does not want Hong Jo to become human to make him tired. She also does not drink coffee anymore. Hong Jo worries about her. He wants her to fulfil her dream and starts working on it. He tells Jae-Sun about Sol-A. Hong Jo pushes her to attend the interview. He buys a necklace for her as a gift.

Hong Jo tells Sol-A that it will be the last time he becomes human. He will remain as cat for a longer time. Sol-A is upset because she is unable to see him as human. However, she believes that he will become human again. She willing to wait for him.

Two years later, Sol-A's webtoon is published. Her friends and ex-colleagues congratulations her success. Jae-Sun still waits for her to accept his love. Sol-A does not accept him yet. She is still checking Hong Jo to become human every day. Finally, Hong Jo turns into human again. She hugs him tightly.
