Ma Sung is a doctor whereas Gi Beum is a famous singer. They accidentally ran into one another. He thought that she was the Joy that he has to meet to sign a contract. He saved her from many accidents and treated her very well. Ma Sung asked her to be his girlfriend instead of her fans. Before they went for a date, Ma Sung met an accident and unable to go for a date with her. she waited desperately and disappointed. Another guy singer invited her for a drink. He put some sleeping pills on her drink. After she woke up, she was being accused for murdering him. Although she found not guilty, her career as a singer has been ruined. Three years has been passed. She lived everyday for survival. She worked on online store as part time. She also worked for a company that run the media online. She was being cheated by her director for acting weird in front of the camera and uploaded on the social media. Ma Sung has a serious illness that he could not remember anything in the next day. Therefore, he always wrote a dairy before he went to bed.

One thing that bothered about him is that, he only remembered Gi Beum every time in the next day. He felt that he has a strong connection with her. Gi Beum thought that he purposely forgot about her and the way he treated her was so different than before. Gi Beum was the eldest child in the house. She has to work hard in order to support her family. She was lucky that she met her co-star Ki Joon who happened to be Ma Sung’s cousin. Ki Joon bought an entertainment agency but was being financed by Ma Sung. He wanted to help Gi Beum and even prepared an exclusive contract for her. Gi Beum accidentally signed the contract while she was drunk. She asked Ma Sung to cancelled the contract. Ma Sung advised her to think carefully what she really wants in future.

Ma Sung tried to remember what is the relationship between him and Gi Beum. He was curious about Gi Beum. He found the high heel shoes that he bought for her 3 years ago. Ki Joon wanted to join the quiz show with Gi Beum in order to gain more audience from the public. But both of them do not have a strong general knowledge. Ma Sung decided to join the TV show with Ki Joon for the sake of Gi Beum. Before the quiz started, Ma Sung accidentally heard the conversation between Gi Beum and her ex-manager CEO Kim. CEO Kim assaulted and bullied her. He also wanted to humiliate Gi Beum for causing the lost to his company. Ma Sung is phobia towards lights. He has a really bad experience with lights. Since he was young, both of his parent die during the car accident happened at night. He also exposed to camera lights during his parent funerals. On the other hand, it is also due to the car accident that he experienced 3 years ago. Ma Sung passed out during the TV show due to lights. He experienced difficulty in breathing and had experienced a fake illusion of his death.  One day, Ki Joon invited Gi Beum to attend a party. Gi Beum never expected to see Ma Sung there as he never attend such party before. Gi Beum was being assaulted by one of the guests during the party in front of everyone. Gi Beum protected herself during the party and Ma Sung helped her too.

Im Ha was an actress. Her first love was Ma Sung. Gi Beum also went for a TV show Star Survivor. The PD changed the filmed location during the last minute after CEO Kim told him to do so in order to increase the popularity of the celebrity show. Gi Beum is aquaphobia, she felt so uncomfortable for the change of the location but she has no other choice. She nearly died during the TV show. However, most of the people only thought that she was acting. Ma Sung saw the live TV show at home and he quickly went to another TV show with Im Ha. He wanted to become the trendiest search online, he asked Gi Beum’s friend for help. Eventually, during the TV show, Ma Sung told the host the honest answer and yet they became the most popular news online. Ma Sung doing so is to bury the bad news about Gi Beum. Ki Joon wanted to confess his feeling to Gi Beum and he told Ma Sung about it. Ma Sung also tried to inform Ki Joon that Gi Beum and him has started dating. Ma Sung seem to remember the past memory. However, his condition has worsened. His aunt tried to stop him from involving in Sunwoo Group and even faked his signature for the change of his project.

Ma Sung failed to attend a date with Gi Beum. His memory was worsened and he forgotten why he was at the park. Gi Beum was disappointed as she has been waited for a long time. Ma Sung PA came over and hand in a resignation letter to him. Ma Sung told him that he needed him badly has his illness became serious. Ma Sung quickly went to Gi Beum’s house and apologised to her. He could not tell her about his illness. Gi Beum was angry with him. Due to Gi Beum was being able to cast a character in a new script, Ki Joon and the team decided to held a celebration together. Ki Joon chosen Ma Sung Heal Village has the spot. Ma Sung realised that his Healing Village has some stranger entered for camping while he was going there for work purpose. He instructed them to clean-up everything. He finally remembered the memory that he had 3 years ago and asked Gi Beum again for becoming his girlfriend.

Ma Sung’s aunt told him to step down and surrendered all his shares to her after he had lost billions from his investor due to he forgot about their meeting. CEO Kim also threatened Ma Sung for knowing his illness. While Gi Beum went for an audition, her CEO Kim told her about Ma Sung illness. She felt that it was her fault for causing him lost his memory. She apologised to him for how cruel she treated him in the past. Gi Beum started to treat him nicely and even invited him to come to her house for dinner and also hangover. Ma Sung was surprised at first when he confronted with her family. He felt uncomfortable and yet warm. Ma Sung’s aunts thought that Ma Sung and Ki Joon fall in love with the same girl Im Ha. It turned out that Im Ha is in love with Ki Joon and Ma Sung is in love with Gi Beum. Ma Sung’s three aunts went to interrogate Im Ha. Ma Sung elder aunt went to meet Gi Beum’s family and insulted her father. Ma Sung knew about it. Gi Beum’s dad was really heartbroken when Ma Sung’s aunt insulted him as a thug unable to pay the debt of the family.

Ma Sung apologised to her family. He also asked his aunt to apologise to Gi Beum's family due to her wrongdoings. His aunt was stubborn and did not want to admit her mistakes. She tried to apart Ma Sung and Gi Beum. Ma Sung’s aunt decided to remove him from the board of director by revealing his illness during the next board of director meeting. To prevent this from happening, he revealed his illness in the charity event. He also decided to donate all his wealth to the Healing Village. Ki Joon was shocked and unbelievable about the news. He was upset. Im Ha comforted him. 

After Ki Joon was dating Gi Beum for a day, he finally able to let go of Gi Beum's love and accepted Im Ha. He also wanted Im Ha to sign contract with his company since her contract has come to an end with CEO Kim. CEO Kim threatened her with her father's business but yet she wasn't afraid of him. Ma Sung started to lose his appetite and vision as well his hearing ability due to his illness has become more serious.

Gi Beum's case has been re-investigated. CEO Kim presented a fake evidence (drug in her bag) as evidence that she caused her partner to death. Ma Sung seem to remember that he saw her partner three years ago. Gi Beum recalled that she has nothing to do with the case. She was slept after a drink with her partner. Her partner passed away was due to he has consumed overdosed drug. CEO Kim put all the blames on Gi Beum and ruined her life. Ma Sung tried his very best to remember what had happened three years ago. He managed to recall and willing to be the witness to reveal the truth to the police. CEO Kim was suspected to commit several crimes. He was not satisfied, he tried to dig the case where Ma Sung’s doctor and his aunt’s plan for trying to kill him. Gi Beum finally has cleared her name and she has also managed to gain audition for the new role. Ma Sung happened to know the truth and he was really upset about it. He has no idea why his aunt did not treat him as a family. Ma Sung’s condition has become worsen. He has lost his appetite and became more forgetful. He did not tell Gi Beum about his condition. Gi Beum on the other hand kept worrying about his health. Ma Sung suddenly collapsed while during a phone call with Gi Beum. Gi Beum found him collapsed in a short distance and was really worried about him.

Gi Beum was shocked to know how serious Ma Sung condition is. His secretary also passed the recorder to her about how cruel his aunt did to him. Ma Sung knew that his condition has getting worsen, he decided to send Gi Beum to US for a week for audition purpose. He also asked his cousin Ki Joon to take over his project the Healing Village. He himself went to oversea to receive treatment. When his secretary knew about his plan, he decided to follow him. When Gi Beum came back from US, she wondered why Ma Sung did not pick her up. Her friends told her that they could not get in touch with him as well as his secretary. Gi Beum has no idea where he went and worried about him. A month has been passed, the secretary came to see Gi Beum. He told her that Ma Sung disappeared in oversea. He tried to find him in the death list but there was no news about him. Thus, he decided to come back to Seoul. Gi Beum disappointed again. However, she was still waiting for him to come back. One day, when she came to the café, she saw the napkin’s drawing was similar to the picture taken by Ma Sung. She believed that he is still alive.

Ma Sung almost died in oversea. Luckily, Dr Yoon rescued him. Although his has memory recollection issues, he barely remembered and kept forgetting things. When he came back to Seoul, he lived in Healing Village for the past 1 year. Ki Joon ran the business well and taken care of the Healing Village for the sake of Ma Sung’s wishes. His aunt has been punished for assaulting her employees and she has been sent for questioning. Dr Yoon arranged Ma Sung to meet with Ki Joon. Ki Joon was shocked and happy at the same time to see Ma Sung is still alive. They also arranged him to meet Gi Beum. They reunited and got married four times a month. It is because Ma Sung kept forgetting about their wedding day. They lived everyday as a new day and spent their lives happily together.
