[Review: Thirty but Seventeen]

It was about a young woman named Woo Seo Ri. She is very talented in playing violin. Her future was so bright that she obtained an admission in German college. Before she managed to go there, she met an accident and caused her coma for 13 years.

After 13 years, she gained her conscious. She realised that she was now thirty years old. She could not accept the fact that she has been wasted her 13 years in coma. She went out of the rehabilitation centre and went to her house. She found out that her house was no longer belonged to hers. She was unable to find her uncle and aunt. She was starved and the owner of the house (Gong Woo Jin) offered to let her stay for 1 month. Her found violin but it was broken. She sent it for repair but the cost was way too expensive. She decided to find a job that related to teaching violin. However, the interviewers were doubt about her working experience. She wasn’t graduate from musical school and she has none of the working experience. She faced obstacles for looking for a job.

Woo Jin was interested in Seo Ri when he was young. He did not know the girl’s name until he met her. He experienced trauma when he saw the accident happened 13 years. He blamed himself for causing the accident. He was a great designer who always carry a measuring tape whenever he goes. He thought Seo Ri was Su Mi. But Seo Ri behaviour reflected the girl that he met ages ago. Woo Jin tried to distance with Seo Ri so that he can forget the pain that he experiences. Seo Ri has no idea why Woo Jin suddenly treated her this way. Woo Jin nephew was also interested to Seo Ri. However, he was worried to further their relationship is just friend due to their age gap. She finally able to land a job at Woo Jin office. It is because they are going to do an event that is related to musical. She is an expert in music and it is easier for her to communicate with musician. She tried to earn as much money as possible to get her violin fixed.

After listening to his housekeeper, Woo Jin started not to waste time to keep distance with Seo Ri. As 1 month almost passed, Woo Jin, his nephew, nephew’s friends and housekeeper were unwilling to let Seo Ri go. Initially, she found a place to stay whereby she no need to pay for rental and maintenance fee. All she needs to do is feed the owner’s gold fish. But, on that day she wanted to moved in, the owner told her that she no longer moving out, thus, Seo Ri has no place to stay. Woo Jin found Seo Ri and asked her to come back and stay with them.

Seo Ri’s violin has been fixed. She got an offer from her previous professor to perform in musical festival. At first, she refused as she afraid that she may not be able to do well. Due to the encouragement from Woo Jin, she started to work hard and accepted that offers. Woo Jin’s sister happened to come to the house for a visit. Woo Jin and his nephew were very nervous and even lie to her about her identity. Later, Woo Jin told his sister about this Seo Ri and Seo Ri also revealed her identity to his sister and the reason why she stayed at that house. Woo Jin’s sister did not angry with them, instead she was happy to have her in the house.

Woo Jin behaviour changed dramatically that he acted more humane and friendlier towards others. Seo Ri talent has been noticed by her past professor and she was even invited to perform on the stage with a group of orchestras. She was happy and practiced daily to improve her violin skill. Things did not go the right way when Woo Jin accidently heard that the manager wanted to reveal Seo Ri without appreciating her talent, he wanted to make news and fooled Seo Ri. Woo Jin stopped Seo Ri to perform but she did not want to listen to him. Her music mate told her about what is going on during the music festival and she was stunted. She decided to move out from performing. Although that is what she always wanted to do, she never regrets of her decision. She felt that if she really has the passion to pursue in music, she will find herself enjoying even if she might hurt herself. However, she isn’t happy now to force herself to work hard to improve on her music skill.

Woo Jin finally confessed his feeling to Seo Ri and they began to date each other. Woo Jin's brother won a gold medal from boat riding. But he was has experience a serious ankle sprain. He was then admitted to hospital. Seo Ri met her old friend Hyung Tae at hospital. She did not recognize him and felt awkward around him. She also happened to know that her old friend Su Mi has been passed away. When she attended her late old friend, Woo Jin realized that the name of that girl was actually Seo Ri instead of Su Mi. He put the blame on himself and wanted to leave the place. However, because he was too deeply in love with her and unable to left like this. He returned to meet Seo Ri on the bridge. He kept apologized to her that he took away her time during her 20s and teenage. Seo Ri told him that since she was young, she was also curious and wanted to know Woo Jin. This has cleared the doubt for Woo Jin who kept blaming himself for causing the tragedy  for  Seo Ri.

Seo Ri's aunt told her what has happened 11 years ago. Her uncle  has been died from illness. He divorced his wife in order to protect the house. His company was bankrupt. Chan confessed his feeling to Seo Ri and Seo Ri rejected him. They would stayed as friend and family. Seo Ri was undecided when she have to make a decision whether to study abroad or taking college entrance for musical school. She finally found what she like the most. She wanted to stay beside Woo Jin and takes her study slow. Chan and his friends and housekeeper Jennifer moved out. Only left Seo Ri and Woo Jin in the house. Seo Ri and Woo Jin spent their time together happily. After two years, everyone make a come back to their house and celebrate Chan's winning for boat riding.
