When Lee La-El was little, her father died unexpectedly. The rich and powerful people (Han Pan-Ro and Kim Jung-Chul) were responsible for his death. She remembered their faces and decided to take revenge. She left for oversea study with the help of Seo Eun-Pyeong. Seo Eun-Pyeong was a lawyer. He decided to close down his firm and become a powerful people in order to protect people like Lee La-El. After all, he has not heard any news from her and so did her mother vanish as well.

After a few years later, Lee La-El married with Jang Jin-Wook and they have a child Jang Bo-Ram. Her husband worked at LY Group. Kang Yoon-Kyum was the CEO of the company. He is the son-in-law of Han Pan-Ro. Han Pan-Ro was a prime minister. Kang Yoon-Kyum and Han So-Ra marriage wasn’t in good term. He cannot stand his wife for looking down on poor people.

Kang Yoon-Kyum and his wife watched a performance at the school hall. Lee La-El was a great dancer. She purposely performed on the stage and seduced Kang Yoon-Kyum. She also tried to mixed around with the wives to get to know more about Han So-Ra and her husband. She purposely dropped her bracelet on the floor and let Kang Yoon-Kyum noticed it. When he wanted to return the bracelet to her, he saw her had an affair with a man in women dressing room.

Later, Lee La-El introduced herself and her husband to Kang Yoon-Kyum and Han So-Ra. Her target is Kang Yoon-Kyum, who runs the LY Group. She tried to seduce him in order to take down LY Group. While she was in USA, Jang Moon-Hee helped her to get out from the hospital. She also became her guardian. A few years late, she married with his son, Jang Jin-Wook. He had a daughter from his previous marriage, Jang Bo-Ram. Jang Jin-Wook used to work for her father. He was also the one who initiate the takeover of the company. Jang Moon-Hee invested a lot of money on Lee La-El. She planned with her so that she can carry out her plan successfully.

Seo Eun-Pyeong was looking for Lee La-El’s mother, Kim Jin-Sook who was missing for years. He also heard that there was a woman who looked for Kim Jin-Sook. He believed that she was Lee La-El. He came to the studio and looked for her. Lee La-El denied about her identity. She changed her identity as Kim Soo Bin long time ago. Seo Eun-Pyeong also checked her family and husband’s background as well.

Kang Yoon-Kyum noticed something off with Lee La-El. He asked her why did she approached him and seduced him. He wanted to know her intention. He also witnessed Lee La-El hurting herself at the roof top after seeing Kim Jung-Chul at one of the events. Kang Yoon-Kyum treated her wound and worried about her condition.

Kang Yoon-Kyum has been controlled by Han So-Ra and her father. He was pissed off but he could not do anything to challenge them. In order to win Han So-Ra’s heart, she approached her and helped her to handle event in kindergarten. She also treated her as her best friend and often invited her to her house.

Seo Eun-Pyeong did some background check on Kang Yoon-Kyum. He gave his finding to Lee La-El so that she can be aware of Kang Yoon-Kyum. Kang Yoon-Kyum was an illegitimate son. He was born by a maid. However, his mother died tragically a few years ago. Kang Yoon-Kyum’s father has been pressuring his sons-in-laws to give birth to a son. Han So-Ra was pressured whenever it comes to memorial service. She has to prepare the food and do some cleaning as well. She wasn’t happy when her sister-in-law teased her for her old age. She complained to Lee La-El.

Since Han So-Ra trusted Lee La-El so much, Lee La-El took this opportunity to find the ledger in her house. With the help of Kang Da-Bi, she managed to find the secret door in Kang Yoon-Kyum’s study room. Before she managed to steal the document, Kang Yoon-Kyum arrived home early. He was surprised to see Lee La-El in his study room. He was suspicious about her.

Although every time Kang Yoon-Kyum nearly get seduced by Lee La-El, he held himself back. He tried to find her motive for approaching him. Lee La-El was looking for a music instrument. She was surprised that Kang Yoon-Kyum was also looking for the same one. He even knew the story behind the instrument. She contacted her guardian in oversea to seek for clarification. She was surprised that he was having a consultation with her guardian too. They were meant to be together.

Han So-Ra wanted to get closer with her husband and also make baby. Lee La-El suggested her to learn tango in order to help build their relationship. Han So-Ra learnt hard in order to win her husband’s heart.

Seo Eun-Pyeong came to Lee La-El and told her that he can help her own with his power. He was heartbroken when he saw Lee La-El was risking her life to take down LY Group. He offered to help her whenever she needs him. He is now the youngest member of the National Assembly.

Kang Yoon-Kyum started to grow feeling for Lee La-El. He fell for her seduction. He left his wife alone during her birthday and spent the night with Lee La-El. Lee La-El was now in control of Kang Yoon-Kyum and Han So-Ra’s lives. Han So-Ra once mentioned about a young woman as well as her mother died in tragedy. Lee La-El was shocked and assumed that her mother might be killed by Han So-Ra. She became more determined to crush their lives.

Han So-Ra was very disappointed towards her husband for being cold to her. As Lee La-El pointed out that her husband was having an affair, she started to speculate about it. Lee La-El also took this opportunity to distance with her husband too. She purposely sent an audio recorder to her husband and his comrade. Both of them were shocked to listen to that audio.

Lee La-El was helping Han So-Ra to find the woman behind Kang Yoon-Kyum. She also proposed a good business plan to take over her brother-in-law shopping mall. Because of this, Kang Yoon-Kyum has been scolded by his father. His father has no intention to pass down his business to him. He was angry and decided to take over the business and claimed as his own. He wished Lee La-El by his side and she agreed with it. She also helping him to take over his business from his family.

Because Han So-Ra was involved in hit-and-run accident, the policeman was looking for her everywhere. Han So-Ra and her man, Moon Do-Wan were actually chasing a car belonged by Kang Yoon-Kyum’s company. Lee La-El told her that Kang Yoon-Kyum used this car to give the woman a drive. As the news became viral in the social media, Han Pan-Ro knew about it and he was pretty furious towards his daughter. Kang Yoon-Kyum also tried to look for his wife as he did not want the case the affect his company.

Kang Yoon-Kyum and Han So-Ra had a deep talk. Han So-Ra discovered that his husband actually having an affair with another woman. She tried to find out who was it. She agreed to go to the police station but she made a report there. She asked the police to find the car for her. She also found the driver as well. She tortured the driver so that she can tell her who the woman was. Han So-Ra used the driver’s handphone to contact Lee La-El. Lee La-El agreed to meet up with her at noon tomorrow with condition that she has to release the driver. Since Lee La-El put a tracker on the driver’s handphone, she asked Seo Eun-Pyeong for help. Seo Eun-Pyeong used his connection to find the driver and sent her to the hospital for treatment.

After Lee La-El revealed to Han So-Ra, Han So-Ra felt being betrayed by her good friends. She cut all the ties with her and also disallowed her to involve in any activities in kindergarten. She also forced her and her daughter to leave as well. Lee La-El did not bother about her and continued with her plan.

Kang Yoon-Kyum speed up to launch his new technology in the market. His father and father-in-law were furious and looked for him. They came to the office to see him but his guards have been stopping them from entering. Both his father and father-in-law fought with one another in the office because they assumed Kang Yoon-Kyum has been influenced by one of them.

Han So-Ra tried to get back to her husband, however, he did not listen to her. He insisted to divorce her. Han So-Ra did not want to divorce, but her father underwent divorce lawsuit and demanded 10 billion won compensation. Kang Yoon-Kyum’s father was angry after seeing the news about their divorce case.

Everyone was speculated who was the woman behind Kang Yoon-Kyum. Lee La-El tried to tell the public that she was the woman of Kang Yoon-Kyum. In order to avoid Han So-Ra, Kang Yoon-Kyum decided to move out of the house with his daughter and moved in together with Lee La-El. They kept themselves in hidden.

Ms Jang kept reminding Lee La-El not to fall in love with him, so that she won’t be hurt deeply. Ms Jang decided to reveal Lee La-El’s identity to Kang Yoon-Kyum. However, it has been stopped by Seo Eun-Pyeong. Kang Yoon-Kyum also noticed that Seo Eun-Pyeong has been helping Lee La-El. He asked him whether did he love her. He loved her and treated Lee La-El as part of his family.  Seo Eun-Pyeong showed her the document that Ms Jang intended to give Kang Yoon-Kyum. She was angry and disappointed on Ms Jang. At night, she made a deal with Ms Jang not to reveal her identity. in return, she will try her best to get the evidence for her.

One day, Seo Eun-Pyeong approached to Lee La-El. He confessed his feeling for her. He promised that his will do anything for her. in return, he hoped that she did not fall in love with Kang Yoon-Kyum since he was the enemy of her family. Lee La-El was hesitated and desperate. She finally found someone who understood her but in fact he was her enemy. She hurt herself so that it can remind her that she shouldn’t fall for him.

Kang Yoon-Kyum prepared the wedding rings and proposed to her in the church. Soon after she said yes, she fainted. He quickly called Ms Jang over. Ms Jang realized that Lee La-El was in trouble. She hoped that she can overcome her feeling. Han So-Ra sent her bodyguards to kill Lee La-El. Unfortunately, they accidentally stabbed Seo Eun-Pyeong. Han So-Ra was in trouble and she wished he can recovery soon.

Lee La-El did not want to stay behind Kang Yoon-Kyum. She wanted to be his official mistress. Kang Yoon-Kyum invited her to his company and also offered a position for her. She took this opportunity to get rid of the people who betrayed her father. She also used Kang Da-Bi to enter the secret vault. Kang Yoon-Kyum was shocked when he found her inside his secret vault. He knew that she has kept a secret from him. He told her that he hoped she can open up and talk to him.

Han So-Ra checked Lee La-El’s background and she found out that she was the CEO’s daughter. She kidnapped Ms Jang and punched her. Lee La-El made a deal with Han So-Ra to release Ms Jang and then she will voluntarily leave Kang Yoon-Kyum.

Ms Jang was also one of the victims. She gathered other victims and filed a lawsuit against LY Group for illegally takeover another company. Her daughter passed away as a researcher. The news has been spread in the media. Han Pan-Ro sent his men to catch Ms Jang.

Lee La-El felt guilty towards Kang Yoon-Kyum after she stole the contract from his vault. She decided to tell him in person. She invited him to a bar. Kang Yoon-Kyum also acknowledged about the lawsuit. Suddenly she received a call from Ms Jang. She went to her studio to check her location. She told Seo Eun-Pyeong about it.

Han So-Ra was going to release Ms Jang without her father acknowledgement. Unfortunately, her father did not leave the house and came back to the lockup. He scolded his daughter for trying to release Ms Jang. As they were trying to stop Ms Jang from escaping, Han Pan-Ro hit on Ms Jang’s head and she dead on the spot. Suddenly, Seo Eun-Pyeong came with policemen to search Han Pan-Ro’s house for Ms Jang. Han Pan-Ro then asked his men to clean up the mess and pretended nothing had happened.

Kang Yoon-Kyum tried to look for Lee La-El. He asked his men to follow Ms Jang and Seo Eun-Pyeong. Suddenly, he received a news about the death of Ms Jang. Lee La-El was really upset when she claimed her body. She found an emergency recorder in her jacket. She was shocked when she found out that her mother was also being murdered the same way Ms Jang. She made up her mind and decided to continue the lawsuit. She used her real name to attend the trial. Kim Jung-Chul was shocked when he saw her face in front of the court.

Kang Yoon-Kyum attended Ms Jang funeral. He told Lee La-El that he has nothing to do with her death. However, she assumed that all of them were in the same team, Han So-Ra, Han Pan-Ro, Kim Jung-Chul and Kang Yoon-Kyum. Kang Yoon-Kyum was shocked when she said that. It reminded him about what happened 13 years ago. Han So-Ra also did the same thing to Lee La-El’s mother. the truck driver approached to him and asked for money. He was angry with his wife and thereafter, he distanced himself from her.

Kang Yoon-Kyum asked Han So-Ra why did she do that. Han So-Ra explained that all she did was due to her love for him. She did all the dirty work because Kang Yoon-Kyum wanted to take over that company badly. Kang Yoon-Kyum came to see Lee La-El. He begged for forgiveness, but Lee La-El refused to accept it. She wanted all of them died in order to end everything. Kang Yoon-Kyum was surprised to hear that.

Lee La-El did not feel good when she cursed Kang Yoon-Kyum to die. Her feeling for him was real and she has been struggling in between love and enemy. Kang Yoon-Kyum attended the trial and he wanted to make a settlement with her. She agreed with it. When Lee La-El and Kang Yoon-Kyum took her mother’s belongings, they watched the last CCTV video of her mother. Kang Yoon-Kyum was surprised that he was the cause that led to her life difficulty. He asked her what did she want from him, and she said she wanted him to die.

The next day, Kang Yoon-Kyum hold a press conference and revealed the illegal takeover of Lee La-El’s father’s company. He then disappeared after the end of the conference. Han So-Ra, Han Pan-Ro ad Kim Jung-Chul were nervous and tried to look for ways to get rid of Lee La-El.

Lee La-El found Han So-Ra’s lover. She made a deal with him. She made a spark between Han So-Ra and Han Pan-Ro. She told her that her father was going to abandon her and let her took the fall alone. On the other hand, she asked Han So-Ra’s lover to tell Han Pan-Ro that Han So-Ra revealed the photo of the underground cell to the police. Han Pan-Ro was extremely angry towards Han So-Ra and tried to beat her. Han So-Ra’s lover hit on his head and he fainted. Han So-Ra put him inside the cell and locked him up. She asked all her men to leave the country.

Kang Yoon-Kyum’s secretary was looking for him everywhere. He found his suicide note on his laptop. He approached to Lee La-El and Seo Eun-Pyeong for help. Lee La-El worried that he might really commit suicide. She went to the church to look for him. Kang Yoon-Kyum was surprised to see her there. Lee La-El hugged him and told him that she did not mean what she said. Both of them get back together and spent a night at the villa.

Han So-Ra received a tip from her secretary that Lee La-El and Kang Yoon-Kyum were at the villa. She joined hand with Kim Jung-Chul to kill Lee La-El. Kang Yoon-Kyum managed to stop him from attacking her. In fact, he accidentally killed him by himself. He decided to take all the blames and contacted Seo Eun-Pyeong to surrender him to the police. Han So-Ra was watching them at nearby villa. She was relieved when the ambulance took the body of Kim Jung-Chul. At the same time, she received a call from the lawyer regarding her divorce. She was extremely disappointed with the result and decided to end her life with Lee La-El. She kidnapped Lee La-El and ran away. Kang Yoon-Kyum and Seo Eun-Pyeong were looking for Lee La-El everywhere. They assumed that Han So-Ra was the one who kidnapped her.

Kang Yoon-Kyum found his wife and chased her car. Lee La-El awaken from sleeping pill and tried to stop Han So-Ra from driving. Han So-Ra stabbed on her stomach and tried to kill her. Kang Yoon-Kyum dragged Lee La-El out from the car. He then locked the car with his wife and drove towards the cliff. He decided to end this with suicide. Lee La-El and Seo Eun-Pyeong witnessed the incident. She was unable to accept the fact that Kang Yoon-Kyum tried to end this with his life.

The police found the body of Kang Yoon-Kyum but Han So-Ra was alive. However, she stayed at the mental hospital for the time being. Due to her mental illness, she was unable to testify at the court. Since Kang Yoon-Kyum left all his shares to Lee La-El, she was responsible to run the company. Because she missed Kang Yoon-Kyum so much, she decided to took a break to oversea. Seo Eun-Pyeong also resigned from his position and flies to oversea to meet her up.
