Mo Cheol-Hee has 3 sons (Mo Wan-Soo, Mo Wan-Joon, Mo Seo-Jin) and a daughter (Mo Seok-Hee). He has a conglomerate of MC Group which has an excellent team that comprises of legal (Yoon Sang-Won), journalist (Lee Kyung-A), guard (Kwon Joon-Hyuk), hacker (Hwangboo Joo-Young) and head of TOP Team - Han Je-Kook. This Top Team manages Mo family affair in order to minimise bad reputation that could cause to the company. Ha Young-Seo was the second wife of Mo Cheol-Hee.

Seok Hee was being forced to study abroad in U.S.A after the death of her mother. She wanted to find the truth about her mother’s death. She was the trouble makers that makes her father angry. She came back to Korea after 15 years when she heard that her grandfather was coma. She met Heo Yoon-Do at the police station.

Heo Yoon-Do was a lawyer. He has a father who run a restaurant. Seok Hee hired him to join the MC Group. Yoon-Do saw the pen used by Ms Han which reminded him of his mother who has been scammed for murdering and was being punished for life in prison. He has been threatened to follow the order of the TOP rather than being a lawyer for Seok Hee. When Seok Hee was being caught by the police, Ms Han instructed him not to do anything and let her in prison. Seok Hee denied everything as she was innocent. Yoon-Do has no idea whether she was lying or not. He decided to carry out the investigation. He found out that Seok Hee has been framed by others. Seok Hee was then able to release from the prison.

Ms Han was once an excellent judge. However, she was carving for more power, money and honor. Thus, she joined the MC Group to fulfil her dream. She betrayed Seok Hee’s grandfather and also tried to kill him. It is because she knew that he was going to give all his shares to Seok Hee. While all the family members were gathering at the house, Seok Hee’s grandfather attended the family gathering and announced that his decision for giving his shares and assets to Seok Hee.  If Seok Hee passed away, all his assets will be donated to charity organisation.

Seok Hee was pleased to see her grandfather. The maid that took care of her grandfather was the one who sent the text message to her. She misunderstood her for taking Ms Han side. Ms Han was also fooled by her. Right now, Ms Han tried to prevent Seok Hee to become the CEO of the company.

Seok Hee asked Yoon Do to look for a woman, Lim Soon in the prison. Yoon Do was shocked as that was his mother. He requested to visit his mother many times, but she always denied it. He requested again in the name of MC group lawyer and his mother agreed to meet him. Lim Soon told him not to do anything and she admitted that she was the murderer. It is because Ms Han threatened her with her son.

Yoon Do checked his car and noticed that there was a tracker underneath his car. He exchanged his car with his detective’s friend. He was upset to see his mother in the prison. It was the first time he visited his mother in the prison.

He brought Seok Hee to meet his mother at the prison to have a talk. She wanted to find the truth about her mother’s death. She asked her whether did she kill her. Lim Soon denied it. Yoon Do honestly told Seok Hee that she was his mother. At first, she was surprised. After listening to his explanation, they decided to work together to find the truth. Ms Han found out about her weakness through dietitian. During the meeting, Ms Han released news in order to make the investors to change their mind to vote Seok Hee as the CEO. She also put something in her drink that caused her unable to attend the meeting.

Seok Hee has a disease called auto-brewery syndrome, which is a rare disease that turns carbohydrates from food into excess alcohol in the blood. When she was on the way to the meeting, she has been stopped by the police in front of her house. The police tested that she was drunk while driving. All the shareholders choose her father rather than her to be the CEO of the company. Seok Hee grandfather was shocked and stayed in bed for treatment. In order not to let her worried about his condition, he told the maid not to tell her his condition. They decided to sue Ms Han for releasing fake news about Seok Hee. They also invited the major shareholders to their house for briefing too.

Ms Han asked the doctor about her grandfather’s condition. She put some almond in his food during the meeting in his house and gave him a call to make him shocked. Her grandfather was then passed away. Her grandfather’s people were also being threatened to leave Seok Hee. She was so upset that Ms Han made her leave South Korea and gave up her inheritance of the MC Group Company. Ms Han also did not allow to held a grand funeral for her grandfather. Ms Han offered Yoon Do to work in Top since his probation already end. Yoon Do thought about it before giving his answer to Ms Han. He has many disagreements with Ms Han in terms of opinion. Seok Hee passed the evidence conversation about who is the one who killed her grandfather to Yoon Do.

When the beloved fish of Young-Seo died, they held it’s funeral better than Seok Hee’s grandfather. Yoon Do asked Sang-Won about the fish funeral because he was having a culture shock there. She was really frustration about it. she purposely wore red during the funeral (red is not allowed to wear during funeral as it considered as disrespectful to the death).

Ms Han wanted all the family member to sign the contract about giving up the inheritance of MC Group, so that Mo Wan-Joon can be the CEO. Ms Han met Wan Joon and found out that he and his wife have a sexless marriage. The TOP also found out that Wan Joon was dating with another woman. Wan Joon denied it.

Seok Hee met Lim Soon to gather some information regarding her mother’s death. Lim Soon told her that her mother always has headache and ate medicine. Lim Soon was uneducated, therefore she did not know what medicine did she consume. Seok Hee and Yoon Do found a doctor that used to treat her mother. Based on what the doctor claimed, Ha Young-Seo (who used to be a nurse) instructed the doctor to give this medicine to her. Seok Hee was angry that her step-mother was involved in this incident.

Ms Han threatened Seo-Jin’s mother to give up her son’s share. She did not want to. Ms Han released the news about her having a son. Seok Hee held a conference to confirm who is the father of the son. The news was circulating about MC Group and had affected the company share. Ms Han asked Wan-Soo to admit that the son was belong to him. Ms Han promised to give Wan Soo 30% of company share. Seo-Jin’s mother career was ruined. She was so upset and begged Ms Han to forgive her. Ms Han ignored her instead.

Ms Han started to suspect Yoon Do for faking his identity. After hearing his explanation, she trusted him and let him work in TOP. Oh Gwang-Mi (reporter) found that Yoon Do looked very familiar with her old friend. She came to his father’s shop and build rapport with his best friend. She found out that Yoon Do was actually her old classmate. Yoon Do admitted that he was her classmate and he wanted them to join forces with him in order to find out the truth about murder case of Seok Hee’s mother.

While all the family members were celebrating Wan Joon’s succession to become the CEO of MC Group, Seok Hee brought Seo-Jin’s mother to their house. Everyone was shocked. Cheol-Hee discussed with Ms Han about letting Seo-Jin’s mother to stay at their house and she suggested him to let her stay for the time being to avoid unnecessary problems arise. Seo-Jin’s mother worked together with Seok Hee to create burden to Ha Young-Seo.

Unfortunately, Ms Han found out that Seo-Jin’s mother and Wan Soo previously has affair with one another. She threatened Seo-Jin’s mother to leave Korea and threatened Wan Soo to give up his share before she told his father about it. Seo-Jin’s mother told Seok Hee about it. Seok Hee scolded Yoon Do for hacking other people’s lives. Yoon Do in fact did not do so.

When Ms Han told Seok Hee that Yoon Do did not do a job in finding Seo-Jin’s mother past relationship, she only realised her mistake towards him. she bought a set of suits for Yoon Do to apologise with him. in return, he also bought a box of snacks to share with her. Seo-Jin and his mother were sent to Laos as ordered by Young Seo. Seok Hee and Yoon Do sent them off. Before they left, Yoon Do bought them to his father BBQ restaurant when Seo-Jin’s mother carving for it. It was Yoon Do’s father pleasure to see his idol came to his restaurant. He was so happy to see her.

Ms Han’s next move was to eliminate Wan-Joon’s wife. TOP purposely manipulated the emotion between his wife and an Italian chef. They wanted to accuse her for failing her duty as a wife. Wan-Joon’s wife told all of them that Wan Joon also failing his duty as a husband. They had a sexless marriage for the past 6 years. However, none of them listened to her. She has been threatened to leave the house without any alimony.

Seok Hee helped her out by demanding some compensation from them. Wan-Joon’s wife brought her medical report to show that she is still virgin and she did not fail the duty as a wife. She asked Ms Han to provide retirement fund for her parents, education fund for her sister and some compensation for herself. Seok Hee on the other hand, investigated Wan Joon whether he has woman. Ms Han also did her investigation and she found out that Wan Joon is a transgender.

Although the CCTV footage has been deleted, Oh Gwang-Mi’s boss shows Seok Hee and Yoon Do the CCTV footage that shows the people who visited Seok Hee’s mother during the incident. Seok Hee found out that all her family member visited her mother. She suspected that the reason why Wan Joon met her mother perhaps is because her mother knew his secret. Therefore, he has the intention to murder her.

Seok Hee’s mother’s friend who is a curator told her that someone has held an exhibition that is similar to her mother drawing. She went to the MC Gallery and found out that the drawing is belongs to her mother and Young Seo claimed as hers. She destroyed the paint and caused a scene there. Seok Hee also suspects Young Seo intention to obtain her mother’s painting by killing her.

Mo Wan-Soo and Seok Hee found out about Wan Joon’s secret. But they keep it from his father. During her step-mother’s birthday, someone sent Wan Joon’s transgender photo to her. Her father was furious about it and really disappointed. Her father did not want Wan Joon to be the heir of MC Group. He talked to Ms Han to be Wan Soo’s right man but she rejected. Ms Han insisted that Wan Joon should be the heir.

Seok Hee threatened Mr Joo (chief prosecutor) to take down Ms Han. 1^st attempt was a failure as Mr Joo told Ms Han about it. Second attempt was successful as she threatened him with his position as a candidate for attorney general. She also joined forces with Wan Soo to persuade father to abandon Ms Han who refused to listen to him. Mr Joo met their father and discussed about taking down Ms Han. It was a success that Ms Han has been caught for investigation. Ms Han’s teammates work together to get her out from the prosecutor office. They captured Judge Lee and sent him abroad to prevent him to be the witness for the retrial. They also told Mr Joo about the retrial that Yoon Do requested. Mr Joo was afraid and he quickly released Ms Han. He asked her to help him settle the issue. Ms Han came out and the first thing she did is reveal all the dirty things about Mr Joo and also framed his son. Mr Joo felt ashamed of himself and commit suicide. Seok Hee and Yoon Do faced a difficult issue to request for the retrial.

Ms Han found out that Seok Hee was actually the daughter of her grandfather (Mr Wang). He told her father about it. He was shocked to know the news. Seok Hee suspected that one of the family members killed her mother. Seok Hee and Ms Han coincidently attended the funeral for Mr Joo. Mr Joo’s son was knew that it was Ms Han doings. He decided to join force with Seok Hee and Yoon Do to catch Ms Han.

Ms Jung, the caretaker of Mr Wang, told Seok Hee her true identity. Seok Hee was really shocked about it. She decided to take back all her shares from her family. Seok Hee told her family member about her true identity. They did not believe it. They confirmed with Ms Han. Wan Soo threatened Ms Han that he wanted the 30% of share, otherwise he will join forces with Seok Hee to take down Wan Joon. Ms Han was not afraid of him. She threatened him back that Wan Joon was the one who killed Seok Hee’s mother. Yoon Do applied for the retrial has been failed, it was due to Ms Han bribed the Judge to reject the retrial. However, he did not give up easily. He continued to fight the truth to be revealed.

Seok Hee sued Wan Joon and her sister-in-law for breaking the law. They were sent to prison for 1 to 2 years. Wan Soo handled his video clip regarding the confession for his murder case to the prosecutor. Yoon Do and Seok Hee did not expect that he was the murderer as he seem to be a good person. Before the detective arrested him, he committed suicide in the house. Wan Joon and his mother regretted that they did not treat Wan Soo well after realising that he has passed away.

Ms Han and her team were to face the lawsuit for their act. Ms Han brought all the evidences and surrendered herself to the prosecutor. She was also imprisoned for a couples of years. Yoon Do applied for retrial has been approved and they managed to clear the name of his mother.

Everyone is happy with the outcome. Before Seok Hee left to U.S, she visited Mo Cheol-Hee at the hospital. She asked Ms Jung to take care of him before she came back. A few years later, Yoon Do still worked at the TOP but it is meant for doing something good and also worked as a public lawyer. Seok Hee came back to look for him. she did not run the company but let the professional to run it. They were live happily ever after.
