[Review: Angel’s Last Mission - Love]

Lee Yeon Soo was once a talented ballet dancer. She met an accident that caused her virtual impairment. She has stop dancing for the past 3 years because she could not find a suitable cornea for operation. Since she was young, she has lost her parents. Her driver, Jo Seung-Hwan taken care for her ever since then. Even though she somehow acted ridiculously and emotionally that made all her servant scared of her, he patiently accompanied her and encouraged her not to give up hope. Yeon Soo is rich and lived in a luxury home. Her parent left a ballet company for her. Due to her condition, her aunty Choi Young Ja ran the company on behalf of her. Although she was blind, she has a great 6^th sense that allowed her to know the true face of the people that surrounding her.

Kim Dan is an angel. He was surprised that Yeon Soo can sense his presence. She can even talk to him and heard from him. When he was supposed to report the church for completing his duty, he rescued her in the midst of her accident. He lost his chance to report to the church. He has to undergo punishment for being late to register and also meddling with human lives. The deity gave him his last mission to complete within 100 days to spread love for Yeon Soo.

Jo Seung-Hwan passed away. He has no family to attend his funeral. Yeon Soo was shocked about the news and also the cornea that she received was belongs to Mr Jo. After she woke up, she went to Mr Jo’s funeral and paid her last respect to him. Mr Jo treated her like her father. She was really upset about Mr Jo’s gone. She suddenly experienced a temporary paralysed due to her psychological issue. Jung Yoo Mi was her secretary. She encouraged and consoled her to be strong and appreciate the gift that Mr Jo gave her. Yoo Mi arranged a few men for the interview in order to replace Mr Jo’s place. All has been rejected, except Kim Dan. He has been accepted by Yeon Soo after he made her temporary paralysed cured. Kim Dan cannot withstand her attitude towards the workers and also disliked her. He could not think of ways to help her feel love. He wanted to give up badly.

Choi Young Ja appointed Ji Kang Woo as a new ballet company director. He criticised the current performance and also wanted to appoint Yeon Soo to be the main ballet dancer. Geum Ni Na was Yeon Soo’s cousin and she is a substitute for Yeon Soo’s role. She is not happy about the decision because she has been working hard to be the main ballet dancer for the “Swan Lake”. Kang Woo felt that Yeon Soo’s dance is better than her. He also wanted to change the theme and programme for the ballet dance. Geum Ru Na is Ni Na’s sister. She also works as an associate director. She was against his decision due to they have been distributed the upcoming events to the public and she did not want Yeon Soo to take over her sister’s place.

Kim Dan had difficulty to hide his wings when it was raining. He quickly hid himself when Yeon Soo called for him. When the lamp was going to fell off, Kim Dan came over and protected her.  She saw the wings and asked him to take off. She never thought that it was real wings. Kang Woo came to see Yeon Soo. He was being mistakenly attacked by Kim Dan as Kim Dan thought that he was the culprit behind it. Kang Woo introduced himself and invited her to dance ballet again. She rejected his offer and asked him to leave. Kim Dan brought her to her room and gave her some tea. Yeon Soo on the other hand, gave Kim Dan some medicine to treat his wound legs. Kim Dan’s wound heal really fast, because he was not a real human. Kim Dan stayed all night outside her room just in case she needs him.

The next morning, he also quickly cleaned the dining room so that no evident of his feather left on the scene. Hu also covered up for him so that nobody noticed about his secret. He also investigated what was going on that day. He tried to explain to her but she refused to listen. She insisted that someone among her servant has done that to her. All the servant decided to quit because they could not withstand her bad temper.

Kim Dan asked Hu why his wings appeared. He explained to him that his wings appeared when it was raining. The reason is due to he first met her and when she was going to die, it was a raining during that time. Kim Dan tried his best to hide himself before anyone see his wings.

Ru Na released to the press that they were going to held a press conference for Yeon Soo return. Yeon Soo was angry about it because they did it without her consent. She has no choice but to overcome her temporary paralysed condition.

Ni Na, her aunt and also her uncle wanted to celebrate for her return. They held a party at her home. Her aunt at the same time, she went to Mr Jo’s room and stole the document regarding cornea donotions. She wanted to destroy the evident for delaying her application from getting a cornea surgery. Yeon Soo demanded all of them to leave her house at once. Kim Dan scolded her for not appreciating her family’s love. They had argument. Yeon Soo decided to fire him. Yoo Mi talked to Kim Dan and asked him to come back. They a drink together. Kim Dan was drunk and he came back to Yeon Soo’s house. He talked a lot with her and even danced with her. He saw her wound on her hand. He handed his handkerchief to her as believed that it could heal her wound. She was familiar with the handkerchief handed by him. The next day, she questioned him whether did he deceived her. She even asked the cops to catch him for investigation. Yoo Mi brought a servant to meet Yeon Soo. She told her that the true culprit who broke the window. Yoo Mi told Yeon Soo that she has misunderstood Kim Dan for being the culprit. Yeon Soo apologised to him and asked him to return for his service. Kin Dan requested her to grant him 3 wishes as a condition for his return. She approved it. Kim Dan guided her and trained her to walk on her own so that she can attend the press conference.

Yeon Soo’s aunt though that she was not going to make it due to her condition (mentally and physically unfit). She purposely held a press conference to humiliate her in public. She managed to walk normally without Kim Dan’s helps. She also announced to the press about her return. She requested her aunt to hand over the chairwoman position back to her. After the press conference, Kim Dan and Yeon Soo celebrated together. Kim Dan thought that Kang Woo was her true love. He tried to create opportunity for them to spend time together. He texted Kang Woo to meet Yeon Soo. However, when Yeon Soo wanted to give him a token for helping her, Kim Dan kissed her. Kang Woo arrived and he was angry to see them kissing. Kim Dan quickly ran away as it was going to rain soon and left her there. Kang Woo brought an umbrella for Yeon Soo and sent her home.

Kim Dan told Hu about his sin and Hu advised him to treat Yeon Soo like how he treats cats and dogs. He also warned him not to fall in love with human as that is not part of the mission. If he commits a sin, he will turn into dust. Yeon Soo kept asking Kim Dan whether he has feeling for her. He has no choice as he cannot fall in love with human. Yeon Soo was disappointed. She kept herself busy practising her ballet so that she can get back in shape. Kim Dan worried about her, as she was torturing herself to practice. He could not stop her. He accidently found a photo from Mr Jo’s album. Behind the photo, it written that it was her first performance in front of her first audience. Kim Dan took a day off and looked for the place. He clean-up the place. Later, he saw Kang Woo and Yeon Soo came there together. He quickly hid himself. Kang Woo encouraged her to dance like the first time she did. She danced and she cried. Kim Dan saw the dance and he also cried. Kim Dan was her first audience when he was a kid.

Kang Woo (he is an angel too) was touched by her dance. It reminded him about his ex-girlfriend who looked the same as Yeon Soo and she was also a ballet dancer. He fallen in love with human. He committed a sin. She passed away as to protect him from being shoot by the angel. Kim Dan suddenly collapsed from a small wooden room and Yeon Soo founded him. Kang Woo informed Yeon Soo that the Fantasia’s night has been schedule earlier. Kang Woo, Kim Dan and Yeon Soo attended the Fantasia’s night. Kim Dan looked around any suspicious men who could cause misfortune for Yeon Soo. Her aunt ordered a man to put some alcohol/ medicine into her drink. However, Kim Dan failed her mission. Ru Na also arranged a man to put something on her fruits. When her aunt invited her to the stage, she felt dizzy and later she caused a scene there.

The next day, the investors decided to remove their sponsor from the company due to the scene created by Yeon Soo. Kang Woo still insisted to appoint Yeon Soo as a prime ballet dancer. Yeon Soo was so upset. She had a drink. She asked Kim Dan why he disliked her. Kim Dan told her while she was asleep that he could not live beside her forever and cannot love her.

While Kim Dan walked along the rivers, Kang Woo came to him. They had a fight against one another. Both of them fell into the river. Kim Dan has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Kang Woo scolded Kim Dan that he should not ask Yeon Soo to give up on dancing as that could sounds like asking them to die. Kim Dan saw her happy when she was dancing. He decided to take back what he told her and encouraged her to dance. Her aunty asked Yeon Soo to attend the meeting and announced her resignation. She arrived at the meeting but she denied that she would resign from the position CEO of Fantasia. She assured the shareholders that she will make their money worthy for her upcoming performance.

Other ballet dancers were boycotting Kang Woo for choosing Yeon Soo as the lead dancer. Yeon Soo told Kang Woo that the method he used to control the ballet dancers is incorrect. She went to the community centre to help other dancers to do the voluntary jobs. Most of them disliked her and tried to tease her. They also not providing her an empty cupboard for her to put her things. Yeon Soo sincerity to do the voluntary job has wins some of the dancers’ heart. Yeon Soo also gathered all the dancers and Kang Woo to discuss about the lead for “Gisella” performance. She suggested that everyone has a chance to join the audition and let Kang Woo to choose the best dancer. Her aunty on the other hand, against the idea as she felt that it is unfair for the others dancers due to favouritism of Kang Woo. He also against the idea for letting the chairwoman and associate director to be the judge. He suggested the dancers to be the judge and everyone agreed with it. Her aunt suspected that Ru Na was the one who tried to kill Yeon Soo.

Kim Dan met Hu and asked him whether he can possible to fall in love with human. Hu showed him the consequences of falling in love with human. He took away the life of one of the angels in front of him. Kim Dan tried to stop but he can’t. He saw how upset the old lady and reminded him of Yeon Soo. He did not want to see her suffers like old woman. He went home and told her that he wanted to quit at this instance. Yeon Soo prepared breakfast for him. She was shocked and asked him why he want to quit. He didn’t give her the answer.  Yeon Soo was sad. She chased him to leave the place. Kim Dan kept dreaming about a young boy and young Yeon Soo. He ought to find out about the boy. He went far away and arrived at the boy’s house. According to the villagers, the boy was staying with his drunk father, however they have been missing for years ago. Kim Dan found a box that contains some chocolate and a photo. It reminded him that it was given by Yeon Soo before she left to Russia to further study. Yeon Soo can’t focus on her dancing and she kept thinking about Kim Dan. Same goes as Kim Dan.

Kim Dan finally remembered his past and how he passed away. Yeon Soo was shocked to know that her friend, Seong Woo already passed away. She was so upset about it. Kim Dan consoled her and asked her to give him some time before he returned to her. Kim Dan went to the hospital to visit his dying father. His father managed to apologise to him before he died. Kang Woo kept asking Kim Dan to leave Yeon Soo. He was shocked that Kang Woo happened to know the angel’s secret. One day, he decided to sneak into Kang Woo’s house with the help of Hu. He surprised that Kang Woo has a girlfriend who looked the same as Yeon Soo. Kang Woo advised Kim Dan that he should not involve in human feelings so that he won’t the same mistakes as him. However, he did not listen to him. He has already made up his mind that he would like to protect her no matter what. He also told Kang Woo that he will accept any consequences from the deity.

Kim Dan came back to Yeon Soo’s house. He told him that he will not leave her anymore. Hu informed Kim Dan to leave her as he found that Kang Woo was her true love. Kim Dan did not listen to Hu because he believed that Kang Woo is not sincere towards her.  Hu was once talked to Kang Woo and found out that he was the angel that turned into human.

During the audition for the ballet performance, Yeon Soo has won the majority of the voting. Ni Na was so upset about it as she was unable to beat her. She hid and cried in the washroom. Ru Ni found her and heard about Ni Na wanted Yeon Soo to die badly so that she can be the prime ballet dancer on the stage.

Kang Woo invited Yeon Soo after the audition. However, she was on the way to meet Kim Dan. When it was about to rain, Kim Dan bought an umbrella for her. While he was looking for her, one of the vehicles caught her. Kim Dan was unable to find her anywhere. Someone used Yeon Soo’s phone to leave a message for Kang Woo regarding her las word. Kang Woo was so worried about her. He kept searching for her everywhere. He saw her on top of the building and called for help.

Ru Na ordered someone to spy on Yoo Mi. Based on their investigation, they found out that the accident for turning Yeon Soo blind was actually planned by someone. They also managed to find the witness who was paid to do the job. Yoo Mi asked Yeon Soo to come to the police station for celebration. Ru Na ruined the Yoo Mi’s plan by killing the witness as well as Yeon Soo.

Ru Na later asked someone to catch Yeon Soo and to kill her. When she was being pushed from the roof of ballet theatre, Kim Dan managed to rescue her on time. Yeon Soo was surprised to see his wings. She then fainted. The man who pushed her was shocked to know that nobody was hurt. He went to her house for a check. Hu erased her memory. He once again trying to get Kim Dan out of the trouble.

Yoo Mi and Kim Dan decided to tighten the security in the house. Yeon Soo was surprised and found that their action was weird. She felt that Kim Dan was hiding something from her. She found her handphone in his drawer. She read a message that wasn’t sent by her. She met Kang Woo for explanation and also went to the park that they went that day. She recalled her memory and she asked Kim Dan whether he is an angel and he admitted that. She was shocked to learn that the wound on Kim Dan’s hand just disappeared in front of her. She only then believed that he was an angel. Kim Dan also confessed to her that he was Seong Woo too.

Ni Na’s ballet teacher advised her to insist for taking the role as the lead ballet dancer. This has caused an issue for Kang Woo to look for someone to fill her role. Kang Woo and Kim Dan suspected the murder behind Yeon Soo jump off the building was actually Ru Na. They warned her not to hurt Yeon Soo. Young Ja overheard the conversation between Ru Na and the man to fail their attempt to kill Yeon Soo. She was shocked and nervous. She can’t believe that her daughter would do such a thing. Besides, Yoo Mi was shocked to receive a call from the police that the witness has been murdered.

Yoo Mi told Yeon Soo about it. They had a plan. They convinced Mr Park to reveal the truth. He was convinced and prepared all the required evident to Yeon Soo. They then submitted it to the police station. She also came to Ni Na’s house and reveal her family’s wrongdoings. Ni Na was shocked to know about it.

Yeon Soo kept asking Kim Dan about his mission and what will happened if he failed his mission. Kim Dan and Hu told her about her mission but he never told her what is going to happen if he failed his mission. Kang Woo was jealous when Yeon Soo told him that even without Kim Dan, she will not accept his love.  Kang Woo told her that Kim Dan has limited time to stay and he will turn into dust. Yeon Soo was shocked and she could not believe it.

Yeon Soo worried that he will disappear. She brought him for picnic and took photos together. She suddenly burst into tears. She told Kim Dan that she knew about everything. Kim Dan consoled her and told her that he was waiting for the answer from deity. He wrote many reports to deity but no answers from Him.

Yeon Soo attended the meeting with all the shareholders to announce the dismissal of her aunt’s family. Her uncle admitted to the reporters that it was his doing for not allowing Yeon Soo to receive cornea donation. Yeon Soo knew that it was actually Ru Na’s doings. Ni Na was ashamed of herself about what her family did to Yeon Soo. She tendered her resignation to Kang Woo. Yeon Soo persuaded Ni Na not to runaway and stayed focus to perform the ballet.

When Kim Dan saw a car was going to hit the child on the road, he rescued the child. He afraid that other people might see his wound. Before they left the place, he fainted. When he was awake in the hospital, Yeon Soo told him that his wound did not heal. They thought that the deity already gave them the answer. So, she kept asking Kim Dan to marry her before he turned into dust. Kim Dan did not want to. In order to double confirm, they waited for the rain to see whether his wings appeared or not. One day, during at night, it was finally raining. The wings did not appear, which means that he has already became human. Yeon Soo and Kim Dan were happy.

The next morning, when Kim Dan touched her face, he realised that he could not touch it. He met Hu for explanation. Hu told him that he was going to die. Kim Dan was upset. He did not know how to tell Yeon Soo about it. He bought a flower and attended her rehearsal for ballet. Yeon Soo already knew as she woke up earlier than Kim Dan. She did not tell him either. During the rehearsal, Kim Dan felt the hall was windy. He did not see Yeon Soo on the stage. Hu explained to him that, Yeon Soo was supposed to die during the car accident. They are destined to die. She was unable to escape her fate. Kim Dan did not want that to happen. He walked into her and asked her to marry him. Yeon Soo was so happy about it.

Yeon Soo and Kim Dan seek blessing from Hu and Yoo Mi. Hu could not give his blessing because it was against the rules from the deity. Yoo Mi prepared everything for the wedding before Yeon Soo made her performance on stage. Yeon Soon did not want Kim Dan to die. She asked Kang Woo about it. Kang Woo told her not to be foolish as she has to scarify in order to save Kim Dan. She met Hu and Hu told her the same thing.

Kim Dan tried to kill anyone who intend to kill Yeon Soo. His target was Ru Na. He warned her to stop hurting Yeon Soo. She didn’t listen to it. Ni Na was ashamed to face Yeon Soo. she decided to resign. Yeon Soo and Kang Woo stopped her. Ni Na told her sister to stop hurting Yeon Soo. She was frustrated. She gave money to someone to do the dirty job. Kim Dan witnessed about it. He told Kang Woo about Ru Na’s plan and also asked him to protect Yeon Soo.

After their wedding, Kim Dan went to see Ru Na. He wanted to kill Ru Na for the sake of Yeon Soo. Hu stopped him. He even killed Ru Na’s men who tried to attack him. Kim Dan was upset about it as Hu has been disappeared in front of him as he had committed a sin.  Before he disappeared, he told him to look after Yeon Soo who was trying to kill herself in order to save him. Kim Dan managed to stopped her. He passed out as he bleeding a lot. Kang Woo met them at the hospital. He encouraged Yeon Soo to perform her ballet. She insisted that she want to take care of Kim Dan who did not have much time left. She felt that it was a waste of time to practice ballet. Kim Dan scolded her and encouraged her to perform.

Ni Na betrayed Ru Na for calling the cops to catch her. Ru Na tried to escape from the jail by hanging herself. She managed to escape from the hospital and went to Fantasia. She planned to kill Kim Dan instead of Yeon Soo. Yeon Soo saw her and stopped her from killing Kim Dan. Ru Na was accidentally stabbed her. Ni Na told Kim Dan that Ru Na has been escape from jail. He was looking for Ru Na everywhere and finally founded her. He called the police to catch her. Ru Na told him about Yeon Soo.

When the performance began, no body found where Yeon Soo is. Ni Na danced in her place. Later, Yeon Soo appeared. She looked exhausted. Yeon Soo continued to dance until the end of the performance. The audience were touched by her dance. On the other end, Kim Dan looked at her and saw her wound. He hugged her when she collapsed on his thighs. She told him that she managed to save him from turning into dust.

Yeon Soo was sent to the hospital for treatment. Kim Dan told Kang Woo to take care of her as he is going to dissipate. He disappeared in front of Kang Woo. Yeon Soo has been hospitalised for months, and doctor was not optimistic about her condition. Yoo Mi was worried about her. Kang Woo noticed that the handkerchief did not turn into black. He believed that Kim Dan was still alive. The deity told Kim Dan that he has successfully completed his mission. It forgave him for his sin and told him to leave the Earth and back to paradise. Kim Dan did not want to because he did not have a chance to say proper goodbye to Yeon Soo. He entered her dream and tell her to stay strong and continue to live. He sacrificed himself to save Yeon Soo. She woke up and cried sadly. The handkerchief was then turned black.

After 3 months, Yeon Soo back to work as usual. Kang Woo decided to leave South Korea and went to New York. Ni Na has been resigned and retired from Fantasia. She taught the kids ballet and she was enjoyed doing what she loved. Her family members were being punished by the court for their wrongdoings. Yoo Mi was worried about Yeon Soo as she noticed that she kept talking to nobody. Yeon Soo felt that Kim Dan was there for her. She can see him around her. Yoo Mi forced her to take medicine in order to stop her hallucination. Yoo Mi found a box of cards that Kim Dan prepared for her for every anniversary. Yeon Soo burst into tears. She missed him so much.

Kim Dan watched her from far. What she saw wasn’t hallucination. He can’t talk or expressed himself for her. While Yeon Soo sit under the tree, she cried for missing him. Kim Dan sit besides her and wiped her tears. Supposedly, she should not able to see him. It was surprisingly that she was able to see him as a human. Although Kim Dan did not turn into human, they were happily spending their time together.
