Review: The K2

Kim Je ha was a soldier who has been accused for murdering the civilian of Iraq. He escaped from army and ran to Paris. Over there he met a woman who looked like she was being kidnapped. He tried to rescue her but end up she being captured again by her bodyguards. Years after that, Je ha went back to South Korea to start his simple life again. However, things does not went in such a way. He faced numerous attempts from people who tried to track his footsteps. Choi Yoo Jin tried very hard to get him as he was the witness of the incident happened while another group of people who are trying to capture the president-to-be Mr Jang.

Although Je Ha once tried to kill Yoo Jin due to her treat on him, he end up working under her company Cloud Nine as a bodyguard. Yoo Jin was then assigned him to protect a woman named Anna (Mr Jang's daughter, Yoo Jin's Step-daughter). They eventually fall in love with one another. Anna and Mr Jang believed that Yoo Jin was the one who kill her mom who is the top star. Yoo Jin acted in such a way in order for them to believe that she actually kill her mom because she was too afraid to make the wrong choice for marrying Mr Jang - she did that so that her dad believed the choice that she made a correct one (she does not want to be married in an arranged marriage). In fact, Yoo Jin's father was the one who killed Anna's mom for her sake. Anna does not know the fact until Yoo Jin revealed the truth.

Yoo Jin's step-brother, Chairman Choi who acted as a good uncle for Anna in order to gain her trust. He does not actually did that to protect Anna. His motive has been discovered by Je ha and Yoo Jin which all he did is to steal Cloud Nine from his stepsister. Yoo Jin all the while keeping Anna in a safe house and avoid Mr Jang to visit his daughter as she did not want the enemies to use Anna to threaten Mr Jang's Presidency.

The overall movie is okay. I get a bit confused in the beginning of the drama because I wasn't know what is going on as the people kept running around here and there. The ending of the drama is not bad, it is acceptable. I couldn't get into pieces until the end of the story whereby the truth has been revealed and about why they are acting in such a way. There are a lot of suspicious moment where I could not understood but I understand the reasons behind it now. 

This drama is more like a playing psychology in a political way. It also can be described as playing chess in such a careful way as the war can be declared in any point of time if your enemy has something to threaten you. it wasn't easy for the actors in this movie because it involved a lot of action scene and it was tiring to see them fighting all the time.
