During a time of chaos, people harbor hatred towards their leaders and lived in chaos. Therefore, trials are held through a live court show aired on television, where three judges come together to bring justice and peace.

Kang Yo-Han is a Chief Judge who gained popularity through the live court show. He punishes corrupt and greedy men with power. However, Kang Yo-Han has a secret. Kim Ga-On is a rookie judge. When he young, he experienced difficult times for losing both parents. Under the order of Min Jung-Ho (Kim Ga-On’s lecturer & Chief Judge), he investigated Kang Yo-Han in secret in order to find out his intention. He thought that he was an evil judge who will make biased judgement to side with the rich people. After the first trial, he was surprised that Kang Yo-Han actually punished Chairman Ju Il-Do for negligence of his duty for not caring about the people’s health. Kang Yo-Han realized that Kim Ga-On put a spy voice recorder in his office. However, he did not do anything that would harm him.

Jung Sun-A is an executive director of the Social Responsibility Foundation. She is involved with important people from various social circles like politics and economics. She has the power to control the country by using her relationships.

In order to find out more about Kang Yo-Han, Kim Ga-On asked Yoon Soo-Hyun, who is a detective to investigate his background. Yoon Soo-Hyun is Kim Ga-On best friend and she likes him very much. She chases after Kang Yo-Han’s secret.

Kim Ga-On tried to get his spy voice recorder in Kang Yo-Han’s office at night. Kang Yo-Han came in and asked whether did he looking for this. Kim Ga-On was surprised that Kang Yo-Han had find out about it. Before they managed to talk further, Kim Ga-On sensed that there is a bomb in his office. He quickly covered Kang Yo-Han from explosion. Kang Yo-Han brought him out of his office right away.

Kang Yo-Han treated Kim Ga-On at his mansion. The nation was really worried about the accident happened at the Kang Yo-Han’s office. Yoon Soo-Hyun came over to Kang Yo-Han and asked him about his condition. Kang Yo-Han told her to catch the culprit rather than looking for Kim Ga-On. Yoon Soo-Hyun found a lead. However, without warrant, she could not be able to catch the culprit. Kang Yo-Han ordered his man to follow Yoon Soo-Hyun. He beat the culprit and wanted to find who was behind the incident. The culprit told him that he was ordered by someone from Social Responsibility Foundation.

Kang Yo-Han handled the second case in live court show. This case involved Lee Young-Min who was the son of Minister of Justice, Cha Kyung-Hee. Cha Kyung-Hee was angry after hearing that her son involved in abusing the weak. She tried to settle the case before they proceed the trial. Because all the victims have already agreed with the settlement, so the prosecutor proposed to drop the charges against Lee Young-Min. Kang Yo-Han then asked the public, who has been abused by Lee Young-Min, to send their videos over the live court show. They received hundreds of videos accused him for bullying them.

Kim Ga-On was curious about Kang Yo-Han’s mansion. He entered into one of the locked rooms. The nanny noticed about him and asked him to leave the room. He asked the nanny about Kang Yo-Han. The nanny told him that the basement room was belonged to Kang Yo-Han. He was an abandoned child. His father abandoned him since he was young. Due to his older brother, Master Isaac, who cherish him since he was young. He also gave him law books to read. Kang Yo-Han missed his brother very much. Master Isaac passed away after 1 month of his father’s death. The nanny suspected that Kang Yo-Han was behind Master Isaac’s death. The nanny also told Kim Ga-On that he looked the same as Master Isaac. Kim Ga-On raised suspicious against Kang Yo-Han.

Kang Yo-Han settled the case of Lee Young-Min with 30 flogging. This punishment will be show in live. Although Cha Kyung-Hee hesitated to make her son received such punishment, she has no other choice as this is what the public wants it. Kang Yo-Han invited Kim Ga-On to attend a gathering event held by the Social Responsibility Foundation. Kim Ga-On saw the ugly faces of the rich who exploits money, power and reputation. Jung Sun-A also told Kim Ga-On about Kang Yo-Han who cancelled his brother donation to Social Responsibility Foundation.

Kim Ga-On found something weird about Kang Yo-Han. Therefore, he decided to investigate the death of Kang Isaac with Yoon Soo-Hyun. When he questioned Kang Yo-Han about his brother’s death, Kang Yo-Han told him about what had happened in the past. Isaac wanted to donate all his fortune to Social Responsibility Foundation as he believed that the foundation will help those who are weak and poor. Isaac and his family went to the church to attend an event held by Social Responsibility Foundation. Unfortunately, there was a fire accident happened. The church was burnt down. Isaac and his wife died while trying to protect their daughter, Kang Elijah. Kang Yo-Han rushed into the church when he sensed something not right in front of the church. He managed to rescue his niece but he failed to rescue his brother and sister-in-law. Kang Elijah has a paralyzed-leg was caused by Cha Kyung-Hee. Kang Yo-Han wanted to make them paid for what they did to his family.

Kim Ga-On spent a great time at Kang Yo-Han’s house. His niece, Kang Elijah started to like him. Kim Ga-On don’t understand why Kang Yo-Han disallowed Ji Young-Ok to make a meal for him. He rather eats the bento from the store. Kim Ga-On prepared a proper meal for him and Kang Elijah. Kang Yo-Han told Kim Ga-On whether he wanted to become his accomplice or informant. Kim Ga-On took a deep thinking on this matter. Yoon Soo-Hyun warned Kim Ga-On not to simply believe what Kang Yo-Han said as they did not know what had happened in the past for sure.

With the help of Jung Sun-A, Cha Kyung-Hee simply cry in front of the TV show for Lee Young-Min being punished by 30 flogging. The pictures have been fabricated to make it looked serious. Kang Yo-Han knew that someone has backed Cha Kyung-Hee. That person tried to move public sentimental to ruin his public image.

Kang Yo-Han was assigned for another case: Actor Nam Seok-Hoon's Trial. Nam Seok-Hoon was an actor who has been accused for sexual harassment. The prosecutor proposed that Nam Seok-Hoon should be punished physically. Kang Yo-Han and other judges thought that it was too harsh for Nam Seok-Hoon to receive such punishment. He though really hard about the punishment. Finally, he made a decision to sentence Seok-hoon to 20 years in prison at USA. They have worked out an agreement with a prison in Texas that exclusively incarcerates sex offenders. He’ll be serving his 20-year sentence there. When Ga-on notes that Elijah is sleeping late, Kang Yo-Han reveals that she’s the one who negotiated with the US about the prison because apparently in this world, teenagers can handle State affairs under false identities.

After getting an invitation from Jung Sun-A, Kang Yo-Han drives to a shipping container lot that night. The woman on the motorcycle sneaks up and knocks him unconscious with a blow to the head. When he woke up, he realized that he had been handcuffed to a chair. The place he’s being held has been modeled to eerily resemble his mansion. Jung Sun-A suddenly entered the room. She reminded Kang Yo-Han about the young maid who used to work at his house.

Jung Sun-A stole Kang Yo-Han’s necklace and released him at his house. Kang Elijah worried about her uncle who did not come back home that night. She awoke Kim Ga-On and told him that her uncle had not come home yet. Kim Ga-On and Kang Elijah waited for Kang Yo-Han at the living room together. By the time when Kang Yo-Han entered the house, he saw them sleeping at the couch.

Kim Ga-On finally knew why Kang Yo-Han and Kang Elijah told the nanny not to cook for them. Nanny did not really know how to cook and she was terrible at cooking. Kim Ga-On wanted to expressed his gratitude, he cooked for them.

Kim Ga-On introduced Yoon Soo-Hyun to Kang Elijah. He felt that it will be great if she has a female friend. Kang Elijah felt uneasy because she seldom mixed with people. Kang Yo-Han realized that his niece has been missing. He traced her whereabout. He went the place to pick her up. He also scolded Kim Ga-On for not informing him.

Yoon Soo-Hyun looked into the case of Chairman Ju Il-Do’s witness. She found out that the witness received a lot of money. Kang Yo-Han’s assistant found out that Yoon Soo-Hyun kept digging the case and this issue was really annoyed Kang Yo-Han. Yoon Soo-Hyun tried to find the witness whereabout, however the witness was not the house. He has been moved out. She informed Kim Ga-On about it. In the meantime, Yoon Soo-Hyun has been attacked by an unknown person who stole the witness’s passbook. Kim Ga-On quickly came to see her at the street and sent her to the hospital for treatment. Kim Ga-On thought that Kang Yo-Han was behind this. He punched him at his face. Kang Yo-Han denied that he was not the one who hurt Yoon Soo-Hyun.

Kang Yo-Han has been blackmailed for bribing the witness. Kang Yo-Han admitted he gave the witness the money. However, the witness spoke up that Kang Yo-Han gave him huge sum of money because he was pity about his situation. Kang Yo-Han let the public to choose whether will the public still support him as a judge. He has gained the public favour for being a rightful judge. The witness has been hidden by Kang Yo-Han so that he can stand in front of the live court show to support his statement. Kim Ga-On realized that he has misunderstood Kang Yo-Han. He apologized to him.

Jung Sun-A killed Chairman Seo Jung-Hak and let him took all the fault. She wanted to move the public sentimental with the death of Chairman Seo Jung-Hak. In return, she will become the Chairwoman for Social Responsibility Foundation. She also has control over the live show. Kang Yo-Han knew that this woman is really crazy. He would like to handle it carefully.

Kang Yo-Han pointed Kim Ga-On has been scammed and passed away in the live show. Kim Ga-On was really shocked and asked him why he did so. Kang Yo-Han brought Kim Ga-On to pay a visit Doh Young-Choon at the prison. He was surprised when the fake Doh Young-Choon was in the prison. He could not accept that. Kim Ga-On also wondered why Kang Yo-Han showed him this and what is his intention. Kang Yo-Han also brought him to meet his alliances who has helped him to punish the culprit even though they did not have enough evidence.

Kang Yo-Han found out that the con artist has something to do with Cha Kyung-Hee. Doh Young-Choon has been paying huge amount to her so that someone else took the fall on behalf of him. Kim Ga-On realized that the system itself has already ruined by the high ranked officer. He decided to join hand with Kang Yo-Han to fight against the corruption nation.

Firstly, they kidnapped Cha Kyung-Hee’s secretary, Secretary Kim to spilt out Doh Young-Choon’s whereabout. Kim Ga-On saw him at the countryside and spent a good time with his family. He wanted to kill him but he has been stopped by Kang Yo-Han. Kang Yo-Han locked up Doh Young-Choon’s wife and daughter and burnt the house. Besides, he also tricked him by burning all the fake money in front of him. Kim Ga-On thought Kang Yo-Han has gone mad and he wanted to rescued his wife and daughter. However, Kang Yo-Han stopped him and told him to watch Doh Young-Choon. Doh Young-Choon saved the money rather than rescued his wife and daughter. He saw the true colour of Doh Young-Choon who never changed. Doh Young-Choon’ s wife and daughter also really disappointed to him. Kang Yo-Han then hide Doh Young-Choon as he was one of the tools they can use against Cha Kyung-Hee.

The reason why Kang Yo-Han attacked Cha Kyung-Hee is because she was the only one who knew the secret of everyone in Social Responsibility Foundation. She was also the one that Social Responsibility Foundation wanted to expel her from joining their activities. Cha Kyung-Hee was mad at Jung Sun-A, she tried to find out more information about her. Kang Yo-Han knew about it and purposely leaked the information that Jung Sun-A used to work as a maid at his house. Due to limited information, Cha Kyung-Hee intended to meet Kang Yo-Han to find out more about Jung Sun-A.

Kang Elijah called Yoon Soo-Hyun to meet up. They spent a great time together. While they were on the way home, Yoon Soo-Hyun saw a bunch of people hit the weak repeated. She stopped the car and asked Kang Elijah to stay inside the car. She went out to stop the bunch of people from bullying others. Kang Elijah quickly called Kang Yo-Han for help. Kang Yo-Han and Kim Ga-On came to the scene to stop them. Kang Yo-Han looked really angry towards Yoon Soo-Hyun and brought Kang Elijah back home.

Kang Yo-Han told Kim Ga-On that Kang Elijah has been kidnapped twice. Therefore, he did not want her to go out of the house. Kim Ga-On understood that, however, he pointed out that Kang Elijah has been grown up, she needs some friends to mix around and have her own circle. Kang Yo-Han agreed with that and he tried to talk to his niece nicely.

Kang Yo-Han was looking for another case. He decided to put Juk Chang on the trial. Juk Chang, who was a Youtuber, insulted Yoon Soo-Hyun on the street and also tried to hurt Kang Elijah. Juk Chang has President Heo Joong-Se’s back. President Heo Joong-Se wanted to kick Cha Kyung-Hee off from the Social Responsibility Foundation. He asked him to create riot in the street to make the society unsafe.  Jung Sun-A warned Kang Yo-Han to release Juk Chang after the trial. However, Kang Yo-Han stabbed her back by punishing him with a tracker on his ankle. Juk Chang has been beaten by the public whenever he went because the tracker can be traced by public as well.

Jung Sun-A was extremely angry towards Kang Yo-Han when she knew that he has leak the information about her to Cha Kyung-Hee. She went to meet him in private. Kang Yo-Han offered to invite her to his mansion to have a dinner together. Although she knew that it was Kang Yo-Han’s trick to make her stabbed Cha Kyung-Hee’s back, she decided to fall for it.

Cha Kyung-Hee held a press conference in the court live show. She wanted to clear her son’s name without those charges. On the other hand, she also wanted to get Kang Yo-Han. She thought that she has a witness that can prove Kang Yo-Han bribed the witness to give false statement against her son. She never knew that Jung Sun-A stabbed her back by asking the witness to change her statement. Kang Yo-Han also revealed that Doh Young-Choon has been bribing Cha Kyung-Hee to swamp him with another man to receive the punishment in his place. Doh Young-Choon also stand as a witness and admitted everything during the press conference.

Cha Kyung-Hee was in deep trouble. The prosecutors and the reporters kept troubling her. She has no choice but to meet the President Heo Joong-Se. President Heo Joong-Se did not want to help her. In fact, he threatened her with her son taking drugs. Kang Yo-Han came to see Cha Kyung-Hee with Kim Ga-On. He offered to help her if she gave him the file that contained all the weaknesses of the member of Social Responsibility Foundation. Cha Kyung-Hee refused to give in and committed suicide at her office. Kang Yo-Han and Kim Ga-On heard the gun shot and rushed to her office. Kim Ga-On searched her cloth for the evidence but he could not find any of it. Yoon Soo-Hyun suddenly came to Cha Kyung-Hee’s office and witnessed Kim Ga-On with blood on his hand. She decided to close an eye and released him.

Kim Ga-On and Kang Yo-Han had an argument because Kang Yo-Han asked him to cut tie with Yoon Soo-Hyun so that their plan can be successful. Kang Yo-Han believed that Cha Kyung-Hee already passed the file to President Heo Joong-Se. Kim Ga-On disagreed with him and decided to move out of his mansion.

Yoon Soo-Hyun told Min Jung-Ho about Kim Ga-On changes. Min Jung-Ho met up with Kim Ga-On and talked about Kang Yo-Han’s action. He also met Kang Yo-Han and disagreed with Kang Yo-Han’s action for ruling punishment based on the public preference. He held a press conference to shut down the live court show. Sooner or later, he received a call from an unknown person who threatened him with his family’s safety. He was panic and came to his house to check on his family members.  Unknow man then hit his head. Kim Ga-On visited Min Jung-Ho after he saw the news. He believed that it was not done by Kang Yo-Han. However, Min Jung-Ho still believed that Kang Yo-Han was the evil judge. Kang Yo-Han felt wronged and lonely after Kim Ga-On left his mansion. He then asked his assistance to keep an eye on Kim Ga-On and Min Jung-Ho.

Jung Sun-A initially wanted to push Kang Yo-Han to be the next president. However, she has been bombarded with President Heo Joong-Se, Chairman Park Du-Man, and Chairman Min Yong-Sik for too trusting Kang Yo-Han. President Heo Joong-Se also insulted her for treating Kang Yo-Han as a great man. He revealed that Kang Yo-Han used to threaten Cha Kyung-Hee to give him the file. Jung Sun-A felt being betrayed by Kang Yo-Han. She decided to find out the person who investigated her background.

Jung Sun-A caught Kang Yo-Han’s assistant. She also killed him in front of Kang Yo-Han. It was too late for him to rescue him. Kang Yo-Han also being shot by Jung Sun-A’s assistance, Jae Hee. Jung Sun-A wanted him to be lonely like her. She showed him the video of Kim Ga-On being chased by a bunch of people. She also tried to kidnap all his alliances. The Social Responsibility Foundation caught Han So-Yoon whereas others managed to escape from them.

On the other hand, Juk Chang has broken the ankle tracker and escaped from their radar. Jung Sun-A asked Juk Chang to teach Kim Ga-On a lesson. Kang Yo-Han managed to call Yoon Soo-Hyun to rescue Kim Ga-On. Kim Ga-On expressed his feeling for Yoon Soo-Hyun as he did not want to regret anymore.

Oh Jin-Joo has been used by Chairman Park Du-Man to advertise on the plague that happened in their country. Oh Jin-Joo felt that it was so wrong to tell the public without going on the site to see it by her own eyes. Kim Ga-On told her that she has been used by the Social Responsibility Foundation. He also showed his injured to her. However, she still couldn’t believe it. She personally went to the scene to watch it by herself. She realized that the government has been deceiving the public. Oh Jin-Joo decided to join hand with Kim Ga-On and Kang Yo-Han to correct the matter. She lied to Chairman Park Du-Man that she wanted to take over Kang Yo-Han’s place. She also contacted PD to broadcast the show for them.

Oh Jin-Joo, Kim Ga-On and Kang Yo-Han brought PD and his team to broadcast live what was going on in the city. They revealed the truth to the nation that the government had deceiving them all the while with Social Responsibility Foundation. Although President Heo Joong-Se tried to stop them from broadcasting, it did not stop them from showing the world how corrupted the government was. Unfortunately, someone has shot Yoon Soo-Hyun when she came to the scene to meet up with Kim Ga-On. Kim Ga-On was really upset about the death of Yoon Soo-Hyun. At the moment, Kim Ga-On stayed at Kang Yo-Han’s house.

Kang Yo-Han believed that someone intended to shot them but Yoon Soo-Hyun just showed up out and took the bullet for them. Kang Yo-Han persuaded Kim Ga-On to put Juk Chang on trial so that they can reveal the people behind Yoon Soo-Hyun’s death. Kang Yo-Han found a researcher to prove that the plague was actually fake. They persuaded the researcher to stand as a witness during the trial. However, during the trial, the researcher has been killed. Juk Chang’s counsel proposed to give the most lenient punishment as what he did was to protect the nation. Kang Yo-Han knew that it was hard to make Juk Chang to talk. He let the public to choose the punishment. He proposed the execution by electrocution.  Oh Jin-Joo and Kim Ga-On disagreed with the punishment. They tried to persuade Kang Yo-Han to reconsider. However, Kang Yo-Han insisted to proceed with the execution in order to make Juk Chang to talk. He also used the words mentioned by President Heo Joong-Se to punish Juk Chang.

There were many people voted to punish Juk Chang with the execution by electrocution. After knowing this, Min Jung-Ho decided to resign as Supreme Court Chief Judge. He strongly disagreed with Kang Yo-Han’s execution as it is too barbarism. Kim Ga-On also felt the same way. He decided to held a press conference to reveal that the live court show was actually fake. He confessed that it was manipulated by Kang Yo-Han. The execution has been stopped. Many reporters questioned about Kang Yo-Han. The popularity of Kang Yo-Han has been dropped. Kang Yo-Han felt that he has been stabbed by Kim Ga-On.

President Heo Joong-Se thought that he has the power for everything. He even wanted to spread the real virus at the rural area of the nation. Chairman Park Du-Man and Chairman Min Yong-Sik disagreed with him because what President Heo Joong-Se did was not right. President Heo Joong-Se did not think of the consequences of the aftermath. Jung Sun-A discussed with Chairman Park Du-Man and Chairman Min Yong-Sik and came to the conclusion that Heo Joong-Se is not suitable to become the President. Jung Sun-A threatened President Heo Joong-Se with his life. She showed him the power that she held to control the government. She also threatened him to follow her order and stayed quiet.

Min Jung-Ho kept saying to Kim Ga-On that Kang Yo-Han had something to do with Yoon Soo-Hyun’s death. He led him to look for Jung Joseph. Before Yoon Soo-Hyun died, she did look for Jung Joseph to investigate Kang Yo-Han’s background. Jung Joseph told him that he has been beaten by Kang Yo-Han’s men. He also afraid that Kang Yo-Han might kill him because he has a copy of CCTV footage of the church fire. Kang Yo-Han previously promised to give him a house and some money for him to keep the CCTV footage as a secret.

Kim Ga-On went home and found that someone has entered his house. The culprit has been escaped through the window. He also found a body at his house. He was the men who shot Yoon Soo-Hyun.  Kim Ga-On thought that everything was planned by Kang Yo-Han. He confronted him and tried to kill him.  Kang Yo-Han denied that he did not kill his brother and Yoon Soo-Hyun. Suddenly, Jung Sun-A and policemen came to arrest Kang Yo-Han. Kim Ga-On was surprised when Jung Sun-A was there. Jung Sun-A admitted that she planned everything to trick Kang Yo-Han. Min Jung-Ho also joined hand with Jung Sun-A to manipulate the evidence and also caused Kim Ga-On to turn his back from Kang Yo-Han. Jung Sun-A also showed Kim Ga-On the CCTV footage of the church fire. The fire was actually caused by Kang Elijah and Kang Yo-Han tried to cover that so that she did not know that she was the one who caused the fire. Kim Ga-On was in shock and guilt as he blamed Kang Yo-Han for everything. He finally realized how scary the world is.

Kim Ga-On tried his best to rescue Kang Yo-Han from prison. Kang Yo-Han has been beaten by the prisoner in the cell. However, he stood strong and firm. He made a deal with the prison warden to swamp his with another person. He threatened him with the money that he received from bribing. The prison warden asked someone to kill Kang Yo-Han in the prison. He was instructed by President Heo Joong-Se. Kang Yo-Han took this opportunity to kill the killer and threatened the prison warden to declare him being murdered in the prison. Kim Ga-On, Oh Jin-Joo and Jung Sun-A were shocked with the news.

Kim Ga-On confronted with Min Jung-Ho to find out who was the one who killed Yoon Soo-Hyun. Min Jung-Ho also never expected that Jung Sun-A was behind this. Jung Sun-A joined hand with Min Jung-Ho and also supported him to become the Chief Judge. He conspired with Jung Sun-A to place Kim Ga-On to work beside Kang Yo-Han.

Kim Ga-On entered the Dream Housing project secretly with the help of Attorney Ko In-Guk. This project was run by the Social Responsibility Foundation. Kim Ga-On want to find the evidences against President Heo Joong-Se. This Dream Housing project is not as what the government promised the people. The government ran this project is to perform clinic test on the human. Those who passed away from the clinical test, the government will sell their organ to other countries to earn money. Kim Ga-On rescued his alliance and also took some video about the Dream Housing project.

Kim Ga-On decided to die with Min Jung-Ho so that it can caught the attention of the press. However, he has been stopped by Kang Yo-Han. He was relieved to see Kang Yo-Han in person. Kang Yo-Han then headed to the live show to reveal the truth of corrupted government. Kang Yo-Han also placed a few bombs in the live court show. He gathered all the VIP there to punish them. Kim Ga-On tried to stop him for dying with those VIP. However, Kang Yo-Han pushed him away and closed the door. Everyone thought that Kang Yo-Han already passed away in the live court show.

When Kim Ga-On went to Kang Yo-Han’s mansion, he realized that Kang Yo-Han has planned an exist plan in the live court show. He looked for Kang Elijah too. But, both of them already immigrated to Switzerland. Kim Ga-On was relieved that Kang Yo-Han was alive. The new government discussed the corruption system in the country with Kim Ga-On. Through the discussion, Kim Ga-On did not see any change for the new government. He started to worry about the same thing might happened again. Kang Yo-Han gave him a pat on his shoulder and left. Kim Ga-On rushed to look for him. Kang Yo-Han said that he might come back again if he failed to do his duty.
